I've been a satisfied overseas customer (from Norway) since 2007. Total on all order sums up to about $6000 (incl. shipping). Despite a couple of problems with broken parts (one time an oil filter was punctured because of poor packaging, the other was production fault) it has all in all been an alright experience, until now. I have experienced that a good bit of the part brands are pretty bad quality, so beware!
My last contact with customer service pretty much ruined all of my trust to RockAuto. After 4 or 5 long emails, with pictures, they ended up giving me a refund on the faulty parts, but not the shipping cost and the 25% VAT I have to pay to import those parts! And not the much larger and more expensive alloy part in the undercarriage of my car that the poor quality part messed up!
So, be very careful! If you're not 100% sure that the part you want to order is good quality; stay away! If you're not 100% sure that the part will be MUCH more expensive to buy elsewhere and isn't worth the extra cost; then stay away!
I really hope to find me another place to buy reasonable priced good quality car parts.
