This isn't the first time I've used them - I always find their prices are lower than the high street so it's always worth checking out the website. It's also fun to shop on the website as you sometimes see products you didn't know about!
I've always found salon ski care to be very good with delivery always on time and prices are good when they have offers.
I have used this site for about the last 4 years, they used to have a loyalty service but don't seem to have that anymore.
I wish I could order over the phone aswell as on line. Sometimes I dont have access to the internet and find it easier to order over the phone. Whilst working on computers all day, I dont want to fire up my laptop to start ordering when I get in. It would also be great if the order line could say open at least one night a week to take late orders.
I sometimes leave my ordering and then realise I am running out of stock, I could cry when they say there is no stock in and I have to wait. i soemtimes run out by then.
I love the products and everything about this comapny thats why I love ordering from them
Have shopped on several occasions already on salonskincare and experience has always been very positive. They have very good hair products (Redken in particular) at competitive prices and excellent skin products (the list is too long!). Goods are always delivered quickly and packed with care. Sometimes, they also give free samples which is always appreciated. Recommend highly!
Do NOT order ANYTHING from this website - they are a complete joke and utterly ridiculous.
I recently ordered a skin cleanser and I have STILL not received it yet, I emailed the Customer Service and they were useless. I was told it was definitely delivered and placed in a "purple bin" but I do not have one, they then asked whether the driver meant a "blue bin" - well you tell me if it was supposedly "definitely" delivered. The Customer Service told me I would get a reply straight away as they emailed the delivery company that Thursday morning, however, it has been almost a week now and I still have received no form of a response - absolutely appalling! I sent them 4 other emails regarding the issue and even sent them strongly worded emails but they still chose to do nothing.
I noticed they had a Facebook page so I sent a post in stating the issue and guess what? THEY DELETED IT. Yes. They did. I sent many more other posts and one by one they deleted them all but kept the good comments. I told them they had not replied and yet they had the cheek to delete it - proving they read the comments, aware of the problem but still choosing to ignore it and also they were probably guilty as well. I have paid £21 and they have conned me - it was a present for my mum. They do NOT keep in mind the customer's rights or treat them properly. I cannot believe they had the cheek to ignore me, then delete all my comments. I am taking this matter into my own hands because I refuse to let a downgraded company cheat their way out of this. They should be extremely ashamed. I have read several other people's reviews who had similar issues to me - I wish I had came across them earlier!
They are basically a cheating, unfair, rude and severely incompetent company.
I do NOT recommend this company AT ALL. Save yourself all the trouble and don't ever buy from them, ever. I regret even going on this website if I knew this would be the outcome.
I purchased a Smashbox product described on the website as a size 21g but when it arrived it was 19g .I had purchased two of the same products previously from Salonskincare and both were a size 21g. Salonskincare blamed Smashbox for not informing them of the change in size of the product taking NO blame whatsoever for the incorrect advertisement on their own website .I asked for a refund of £3.16 to take account of the incorrect size received ( Very fair I thought) Customer Services referred to Clause 8.8 of their terms and conditions saying they can't always describe the product correctly on-line and take no responsibility if the description is wrong!! I was told I could have a refund if I sent the product back by recorded delivery - utterly ridiculous. I believe that this company are told not to put the customer first and make it hard to obtain a refund of any sort. I found this company to be most unhelpful giving irrelevant information and quoting utter waffle. You can't even speak to them on the phone as the phone number is only for orders!!!!

Salon Skincare is the only place I've found to buy the Clarins home fragrance range as its no longer available in the shops. Not only that but the products are discounted from the RRP, making it an absolute bargain. Everything is well packaged and arrives quickly, and there are usually some little sample treats in there as a bonus. Thoroughly recommended!
I tried this website before Christmas having switched from FeelUnique who are charging too much and take too long to deliver. I loved the fact that I get free trial sizes of other products and that the prices are more affordable. When the chips are down, Salon Skincare has just what I need.
I've placed several orders with SalonSkincare over the years and it's been mostly been a very good experience. Ranging from a great choice to usually very competitive pricing. During sale times, there may be some delays, when you use the free economy shipping option.

I bought a cream which arrived with the seal removed and then put back. Apparently it looked interfered with. When pointed out the customer service refused to acknowledge it with curt remarks implying I was wrong.
I bought two Items on their website to avail of a free gift which never arrived. When I complained they told me I'd have to buy something else from them so they could post it which was ridiculous. I complained further and received an incredibly rude email from them saying they would send it but insisting it was my fault because it didn't appear on their system?? I finally received the free gift which had been thrown into an envelope & was completely battered.
Appalling attitude to customers and rude staff. I was disgusted by the whole experience. In my opinion, there are many other more professional companies online to buy from & I will NEVER deal with these people again.
Absolutely appalling customer service. The worst I have ever experienced. Will NEVER use this company again, and recommend you don't either. The 'next day delivery' took about 4 days to arrive. The box was so damaged I had to refuse to sign for it. I informed them straightaway and asked them to resend the order. They claimed they could not do this, but could only process a refund, and I would have to re-order. Fine. Eventually get the refund through, £5 short. Even though they can claim damages from Parcelforce, they refuse to refund my P&P charge of £3.99, and have deducted an additional £1.01 for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and refuse to provide an explanation, despite my asking for one FIVE TIMES, and also refuse to provide details of anyone to make a formal complaint to. DODGY company, DODGY dealings. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.....
I ordered some products from this company and received the wrong goods. After numerous emails, they denied I had ordered those particular products and sent me ''advanced extra firming cream'' A product I clearly do not need!
I recommend staying away from this site as the customer service clearly don't care about their buyers!!!!!

I purchased a three piece perricone set and the eye cream was practically empty. i contacted the company and was told to return the item for a refund. I sent it back recorded delivery which cost over £6.00 and received an email from Salonskincare telling me they were adamant the item was full and not faulty. I am appalled that they then refused to issue me with a refund and told me they would send the same kit back to me for a further £4.95. At this moment in time I am £173.50 out of pocket because this company is holding onto my money. They did not offer to send a new kit out to me as a replacement. I have purchased several things over the years from this firm and will never buy from them again, they only seem to be interested in taking your money and have not sorted out my problem with the faulty product and have no right to be holding onto my money. BUYER BEWARE this must be the worst company for customer service, it is totally non exsistent.
A guy called Andrew has been just ghastly: I've been a good customer for years but had a reaction to a product. He was the most ghastly person ever making it very difficult to get sorted. I was shocked. He even stopped an order that I'd paid for going through so I had to do more work on that. I said I wanted to complain - who was the CEO and also the press office, as I'm a journo, and this was his lovely reply: 'We really will not tolerate any more of your silly threats, I don't really care what your employment is it makes no difference to me whatsoever.' Nice eh? Behind the lovely website and products, not so nice...

Two orders both over 100 euro, within a month.
The bottle MenScience advanced body lotion however had a faulty pump so the last 20% was stuck in the bottle. So I contacted MenScience. Advice MenScience, contact your retailer for a replacement or refund. So I forwarded the email from MenScience to Salonskincare.
Salonskincare response: We have contacted Menscience and asked them for their advice as their advice to you would seem rather bizarre.
Eventualy after a day the response from Salonskincare was: We have had a response from Menscience and they suggest that you take the top of the container and use the last portion of the product without the pump.
Well, didn't figure that out myself... As there is a pump on top you can not put the bottle up side down. So difficult, but even more messy to get the final part out. Not a huge problem, I know, but for such an expensive product it should not happen.
On top of that, the advice from MenScience was very clear, refund/replacement of the product. The response from Salonskincare I found rude. There response let me believe that I was making abuse. However I forwarded the original email from MenScience so the could have seen that it was really the advice of MenScience.
So last order at Salonskincare for me. The lost a customer.

would never shop online with this company again they are awful to deal with they actually owe me 19.50 but can keep the money they obviously need it more than me. I returned an unwanted/undamaged bottle of perfume at my own cost and after several stroppy e-mail's from there ever so helpful customer service team - I was advised that I wouldnt be entitled to my money back and I could have to perfume returned to me at a cost? no customer service at all, the manager is even worse I managed to speak to him on the phone he was an Obnoxious @@@@@r!!!
My first order arrived damaged and leaking, and was definitely not a new or sealed product. The company refunded me £4, to reflect a quarter of the leakage of contents. I would have taken this further, but had my final exams at that point and could not be bothered with the hassle.
Now, I have not received two of my orders even though it has been 18 days since I placed the order. Salonskincare refuse to accept responsibility until 21 days have passed, even though their website states that customers should contact them after 5 days if they think their order is lost.
Consumer Direct are currently investigating them for breach of contract and violation of consumer rights, and my bank if putting a charge back into place on my credit card. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Har handlet en enkelt gang hos salonskincare og det har kun været en fornøjelse, modtog med det samme jeg bestilte en ordrebekræftelse på at min ordre var gået igennem, og fordi at jeg bestilte om formiddag blev min pakke også sendt selvsamme dag, havde derfor pakken 3 dage efter hvilket må siges at være meget tilfredsstillende eftersom pakken bliver sendt fra uk. Deres priser er også helt i bund i forhold til danske priser, har virkelig ikke formået at kunne finde noget som kan hamle op til salonskincares priser, deres service er også helt i top, man kan endten skrive en mail til dem, eller gå ind på deres facebook side og skrive på deres væg, hvor de med garanti vil svare tilbage på de spørgsmål der evt. kunne være.
I had purchased faulty goods and had to send them back at my own expense despite being told they would cover the cost as the items were damaged, (the contents had leaked out onto all the other goods and one bottle was almost empty). I ended up at a loss as they did not recompensate me for postage. Phone calls were futile and they were very rude and unhelpful. A very bad company indeed. Would advise all to AVOID!

I ordered two in-stock items from salonskincare on 4th Feb 2011. They emailed me to let me know that one of these items was now out of stock and that it may take about 10 days to come back in stock.
I subsequently found the out of stock item cheaper elsewhere and decided to cancel this item but still wanted the instock product. This was 10 February 2011.
It is now 20th Feb and my in-stock item is still in the "processing" stage. Meanwhile the other company managed to process the order and send out the other item by 14th Feb! It was a direct comparison of the efficiency of two companies since the order was at the same time!
Suffice to say salonskincare did not come out on top and I won't be using them again for day-to-day products.
I do have to say one thing in their favour: they had EXCELLENT and efficient customer service so any complaint I had or changes I wanted to make they were very quick with! This is why I would give them another shot but not on something like a staple to my skincare routine.
From their rating others have clearly had great service, I must just be the 0.1% of the customers that did not!
