My first order arrived damaged and leaking, and was definitely not a new or sealed product. The company refunded me £4, to reflect a quarter of the leakage of contents. I would have taken this further, but had my final exams at that point and could not be bothered with the hassle.
Now, I have not received two of my orders even though it has been 18 days since I placed the order. Salonskincare refuse to accept responsibility until 21 days have passed, even though their website states that customers should contact them after 5 days if they think their order is lost.
Consumer Direct are currently investigating them for breach of contract and violation of consumer rights, and my bank if putting a charge back into place on my credit card. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Har handlet en enkelt gang hos salonskincare og det har kun været en fornøjelse, modtog med det samme jeg bestilte en ordrebekræftelse på at min ordre var gået igennem, og fordi at jeg bestilte om formiddag blev min pakke også sendt selvsamme dag, havde derfor pakken 3 dage efter hvilket må siges at være meget tilfredsstillende eftersom pakken bliver sendt fra uk. Deres priser er også helt i bund i forhold til danske priser, har virkelig ikke formået at kunne finde noget som kan hamle op til salonskincares priser, deres service er også helt i top, man kan endten skrive en mail til dem, eller gå ind på deres facebook side og skrive på deres væg, hvor de med garanti vil svare tilbage på de spørgsmål der evt. kunne være.
I had purchased faulty goods and had to send them back at my own expense despite being told they would cover the cost as the items were damaged, (the contents had leaked out onto all the other goods and one bottle was almost empty). I ended up at a loss as they did not recompensate me for postage. Phone calls were futile and they were very rude and unhelpful. A very bad company indeed. Would advise all to AVOID!

I ordered two in-stock items from salonskincare on 4th Feb 2011. They emailed me to let me know that one of these items was now out of stock and that it may take about 10 days to come back in stock.
I subsequently found the out of stock item cheaper elsewhere and decided to cancel this item but still wanted the instock product. This was 10 February 2011.
It is now 20th Feb and my in-stock item is still in the "processing" stage. Meanwhile the other company managed to process the order and send out the other item by 14th Feb! It was a direct comparison of the efficiency of two companies since the order was at the same time!
Suffice to say salonskincare did not come out on top and I won't be using them again for day-to-day products.
I do have to say one thing in their favour: they had EXCELLENT and efficient customer service so any complaint I had or changes I wanted to make they were very quick with! This is why I would give them another shot but not on something like a staple to my skincare routine.
From their rating others have clearly had great service, I must just be the 0.1% of the customers that did not!
Item ordered for Christmas, within their stated guidelines. Didn't arrive until Jan 4th. I appreciate that the weather was bad, and I dont blame them completely for missing their delivery time. It was the insulting and dismissive reply I got when I emailed them asking for a return. No Apology, No Responsibility, No Customer Care. Avoid.
I bought last week a face cream for my wife and was very surprised to see the expired date was July 2009!!
I wrote them back, but some girl from their store (probably new) called "Evelyn" wrote me I was a lier!!It's not about the 43 pounds I spent on their lousy store, they could at least apollogise for that.
Anyway, I'll never buy from them again, so beware too.
I think I'll buy from the yanks for i never had such problems with them before.It's the tax I have to pay, but "better safe than sorry".
Appalling customer care, I'm ever so sorry for ordering from them.
I ordered and paid for a present that i wanted to take abroad, a month and a half before my travel. It never arrived and when I contacted them they accused me for not entering a post code when placing the order. How a month and a half no one noticed anything I don't know, or how my payment went through with no post code.
What I know is that they could not care less about my order and the fact that I've been charged and still waiting 6 weeks later. They never apologised or took any sort of responsibility or care, just sent me a lost delivery form.
I had an absolutely negative experience with salon skincare, months later am waiting for refund and am going with no present as it can only be bought online! I wish I went to any other seller- I shop online all the time and this has never happened to me before.

Purchased a few times from this website and didn't encounter problem until today! I ordered some cream from this site days ago and finally found my order was kept in the post office for collection for 2 days already and I didn't even receive a delivery card from their delivery man informing me of this. What make me more upset is their customer service, this female customer service spoke over me didn't even allow me to finish my words. All their customer service told me was: "it's not their fault, it's parcel force's problem. Do you understand?" When I asked her name, she even asked back: what you want to do?! Well, all I want to do is to get my order and say: byebye to you.

Everyone got to avoid this company.Misleading marketing and unfair return policy. I order a perfume lotion and should come with a free gift as advertise but it didnt.Emailed them and they claims no such offer and also refused me to return the product cause it is pefume product. According to long distance selling law they got to refund me.So they simple lying and bully their customers. That lady Evelyn who work as customer service really awful. So many choice out there why bother to buy from a nasty company like that?
Jeg har efterhånden handlet ved salonskincare.co.uk nogle gange. Hver eneste gang til stor tilfredshed. Jeg har altid fået varerne hurtigt (under en uge), og så kan man frit bestille, da salonskincare er beliggende i England, hvorfor der ikke bliver pålagt told og moms. Jeg har købt en del produkter fra bareminerals, og de koster under det halve af, hvad de gør i Danmark.
Har for nyligt fundet denne website, priserne er pt de laveste lige på de produkter, jeg plejer at købe. Man modtager alle bekræftelserne meget hurtigt, desuden kan man i "my account" følge med forløbet. Varerne bliver lynhurtigt pakket og sendes samme dag. Forsendelsesomkostninger er meget rimelige, og varerne kommer i løbet af ca 5 dage.
