Brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 just stopped working - "3" passed the buck to Samsung - seems a known worldwide problem with faulty chips and motherboard to blame causing Sudden Death Syndrome to your phone!
All seemed ok at first with Samsung with pre-paid jiffy bag sent within 24 hours, plus helpful chap on phone who took details....
Then it all goes wrong Samsung has had phone for 5 days but the clever Samsung site that is set up to keep your repair on tracking diary is misleading,not updated daily despite showing that repair was due to be completed on 23/10 then 24/10 it is now 25/10 and the site still shows repair due to be ready for 23/10!!!!
I am disabled - no access to a phone - "3" beware DO NOT OFFER ANY LOAN phone or INDEED ANY IN SHOP send it away REPAIR service they stick a SAMSUNG leaflet in your hand and tell YOU - you sort it out with them nothing to do with us!
Today in news samsung announce a 26% PROFIT increase... no wonder we the poor customer pay good money for dubious products then led a merry dance to have it fixed!
AVOID any SAMSUNG product and AVOID 3 UK neither care about their customers!
I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend, I had set it up online and all seemed well. I noticed that it was getting towards the time i should be getting the refund... so i enquired with their service team. They said they had sent me emails saying i had put my details in wrong for the item code.
I have checked my emails and even confirmed with Yahoo that i had not received any emails from any source. I asked them to send me an email from one of these addresses so that i could test it, and they refused telling me it was impossible. The offer made this product affordable for me.
I trusted Samsung, and have loved the products and services for years... but now i feel violated, like someone had stolen from me. I got no where, and I will never purchase with this Company again.
They have scammed me and could not provide anything but screenshots of these supposed emails sent... but how the hell can Yahoo get this wrong!!? I might take them to small claims with the evidence i have.

I bought an iBolt car dock for my S3 which has functioned fine with ICS Car Docking Mode for International S3. With the International JB update for S3, Samsung no longer supports the 'Car Docking Mode' with exception for their North American handsets. I find this an appalling decision as for myself and many other International S3 owners now need to pay extra to exchange the current iBolt dock to one which is compatible with the Jelly Bean update. Well done on upsetting your customers Samsung!
Samsung are offering a supposed £50 cashback with many of their products bought through sites like Amazon and John Lewis. But beware the terms and conditions of the offer. If you apply for your cashback less than 30 days after your purchase, you get nothing. If your application for your cashback reaches Samsung more than 45 days after your purchase, you get nothing. Samsung seem to be hoping many people will apply too early or will lose their application form and receipt in the month following their purchase or will forget to apply after the 30-day period. The terms and conditions of the offer are clearly stated by Samsung, but they're seem also to be designed to catch many people out so Samsung don't have to pay.
As the title says, they repaired my TV free of charge at home 3 years after warranty expired, great customer support really happy.
From style and looks to functionality and ease of use, Samsung just seem to get it right every time. Without consciously planning to, my flat is gradually becoming a Samsung homage!
More importantly though is their pricing structure which fits their huge range perfectly. You can still look at their top of range gear and think 'hmmm...maybe'. I was looking at their new 3D 40in LED Smart (wireless connectivity built in) TV today with a 600hz refresh rate (that'll do for the footie) and stood there for a couple of minutes watching Shrek 4 in utter amazement at the zircon ceramic sharpness and the gloriously deep and vibrant colours on the screen before me thinking 'hmmm...maybe'

I love Samsung's product range, stylish, technologically advanced and beautiful to look at. I have used Samsung mobile phones for many years now and love the way they function and look. Reliability is never an issue and the menus are a breeze to learn. Samsung TV's are a work of art and look as good when not in use as they do when they are on. If you like aesthetics and advanced technology consider a Samsung product next time you ant to buy electronics. The website is very visually attractive and has a large range of sections, customer support, mobile phone apps goods etc.
