poor customer service all round!

I have been having issues with my Samsung mobile since the latest update and it has been a known issue since it's release 6 months ago.
Contacted customer services through social media and email and password the responses have been half a**** and ignorant of the issue at hand. Even ccing in the MD and Head of department did nothing. This is a company that clearly doesn't care about its customers.

I love Samsung products and have quite a few but this has really put me off. No taking of rresponsibility from their end when things go wrong is appalling

SAMSUNG REWARD GIVEAWAY GIVES YOU NOTHING OTHER THAN CUSTOMER FRUSTRATION!!

Items to the value of £1,726.53 were purchased in November, from Currys, we were informed of the Reward Giveaway Promotion which entitled us to £150 cash back on the products purchased, we were informed not to submit the application for 10 days after purchase which was the 4/5th December, I posted the application on the 7th December with all receipts and completed documents which was allowing sufficient time to claim within the 28 days of the offer
17th January I received an email to confirm that the application had been rejected as the application had been received more than 28 days after the date of purchase
It appears that there has been some delay in either the GPO services in the receiving or the internal processes at the Promotions Team, as they stated this had exceeded the 28 days through no fault of ours, bearing in mind it was over the Christmas period and bank holidays
I rang Promotions Team to be informed that they are agents for Samsung and cannot make any decisions and to contact Samsung direct to discuss, which I did and was given a number to ring by Samsung, which was the Promotions Team again arghhhh!!! who referred me back to Samsung
Now becoming very frustrated I rang Samsung back who stated it was Promotions Team who dealt with this, but Samsung has authorised them to be the agents, surely they have the ultimate responsibility if they have appointed the agents???
After spending well over an hour on the phone, I was no further forward
When ringing Samsung you have to go through various options to get to Customer Services as they don't have a direct number/option choice again adding to the frustrations
I am in the middle of Samsung and Promotions Team each seeming to pass the responsibility to the other and in the meantime us the customers are in the middle becoming more and more frustrated and dis satisfied and not moving forward
We did all we could within our control to comply with the terms and conditions and feel we are being penalised as we worked to the time limit and for whatever reason outside our control are being put at a loss for this
We trusted Samsung and have loved their products but now feel bitterly disappointed as though they have stolen from us and we are getting no where.
The Reward Giveaway seems to be designed to try and catch people out so they don't have to pay!!
My Brother who purchased products on our recommendations early December and is still awaiting his Reward Giveaway from the 18th January !!!
Logically would anyone spend £1,726.53 and then jeopardise a refund of £150 by posting a late claim and therefore losing the reward giveaway, NO!!
Samsung Reward Giveaway has failed us, I am in correspondence still trying to resolve, again would anyone spend the time, effort and cost if they didn't have a valid claim???
How many other customers have been enticed with the Reward Giveaway and got nothing???!!!
BEWARE IT APPEARS THE ONLY REWARD YOU GET IS A REWARD OF FRUSTRATION AND DIS SATISFACTION

Samsung printer failed and their customer service is utterly useless and very frustrating, I'm afraid

The printer I wanted was not available.
So I was offered a free toner cartridge and a 3 year warranty to take a Samsung CLP 415 NW, which is supposed to wirelessly connect to my Samsung Chromebook computer.
When it arrived, there was no free cartridge nor the warranty.
I had to apply to Samsung for the free cartridge and warranty.
printware (the vendor) finally sent me a link to do this.
When I filled out the form, it said I had to supply the receipt.
printware did not send it. Despite me calling and emailing they still failed to do this.
Apart from that the printer totally failed to work with my computer - the sole reason for buying it! Neither Samsung nor printware was able to get it printing at all.
I had to print via my wife's or daughter's computer. Then it finally started to work around 1 in 5 times of asking but printed in massive text, the word CONFIDENTIAL across every page! I complained to Samsung, who were dreadfully lax and unresponsive. They failed to call back 3x. All this dragged on and they then refused to honour the free deal because 3 months had elapsed. Samsung is useless. I will choose every other brand before them. Samsung does not deserve to be a world electronic leader, the only thing it leads the world in is bad customer service and incompatible products. They can't even get their printers to talk to their own computers!

materia quality can be improved

Switched from HTC to samsung recently. Not quite pleased with the body. Its all plastic unlike HTC which has metal body. Forth money spent, material quality should have been better

SAMSUNG are brilliant

I have a few SAMSUNG products. TV, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine, and phone.

i have never had a problem with anything except the fridge freezer, and when i did it was out of warranty. however as it was a known fault samsung sent someone within 24 hours to fix it and charged me nothing. (id had the fridge for years too)
they then followed up to check we were happy.

Hopeless

Brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 just stopped working - "3" passed the buck to Samsung - seems a known worldwide problem with faulty chips and motherboard to blame causing Sudden Death Syndrome to your phone!

All seemed ok at first with Samsung with pre-paid jiffy bag sent within 24 hours, plus helpful chap on phone who took details....

Then it all goes wrong Samsung has had phone for 5 days but the clever Samsung site that is set up to keep your repair on tracking diary is misleading,not updated daily despite showing that repair was due to be completed on 23/10 then 24/10 it is now 25/10 and the site still shows repair due to be ready for 23/10!!!!

I am disabled - no access to a phone - "3" beware DO NOT OFFER ANY LOAN phone or INDEED ANY IN SHOP send it away REPAIR service they stick a SAMSUNG leaflet in your hand and tell YOU - you sort it out with them nothing to do with us!

Today in news samsung announce a 26% PROFIT increase... no wonder we the poor customer pay good money for dubious products then led a merry dance to have it fixed!

AVOID any SAMSUNG product and AVOID 3 UK neither care about their customers!

SAMSUNG CASH BACK - £50 OFF NEW TABLET. STOLEN.

I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend, I had set it up online and all seemed well. I noticed that it was getting towards the time i should be getting the refund... so i enquired with their service team. They said they had sent me emails saying i had put my details in wrong for the item code.

I have checked my emails and even confirmed with Yahoo that i had not received any emails from any source. I asked them to send me an email from one of these addresses so that i could test it, and they refused telling me it was impossible. The offer made this product affordable for me.

I trusted Samsung, and have loved the products and services for years... but now i feel violated, like someone had stolen from me. I got no where, and I will never purchase with this Company again.

They have scammed me and could not provide anything but screenshots of these supposed emails sent... but how the hell can Yahoo get this wrong!!? I might take them to small claims with the evidence i have.

DO NOT USE SAMSUNG CASH BACK!!!! PRODUCTS GREAT! BUT SERVICE AWFUL!!!! DO NOT USE CASH BACK!!!

Discontinued 'Car Docking Mode' on S3 Jelly Bean

I bought an iBolt car dock for my S3 which has functioned fine with ICS Car Docking Mode for International S3. With the International JB update for S3, Samsung no longer supports the 'Car Docking Mode' with exception for their North American handsets. I find this an appalling decision as for myself and many other International S3 owners now need to pay extra to exchange the current iBolt dock to one which is compatible with the Jelly Bean update. Well done on upsetting your customers Samsung!

Really pleased

Had problems with updated with samsung blu ray player, rang their tech support and they had me updated in about 15 minutes. Really helpful and didnt feel like a big company, far more personal.

Beware the Samsung £50 cashback offer

Samsung are offering a supposed £50 cashback with many of their products bought through sites like Amazon and John Lewis. But beware the terms and conditions of the offer. If you apply for your cashback less than 30 days after your purchase, you get nothing. If your application for your cashback reaches Samsung more than 45 days after your purchase, you get nothing. Samsung seem to be hoping many people will apply too early or will lose their application form and receipt in the month following their purchase or will forget to apply after the 30-day period. The terms and conditions of the offer are clearly stated by Samsung, but they're seem also to be designed to catch many people out so Samsung don't have to pay.

Repaired my TV 3 years after warranty expires for free

As the title says, they repaired my TV free of charge at home 3 years after warranty expired, great customer support really happy.

They Just Get Everything Right!

From style and looks to functionality and ease of use, Samsung just seem to get it right every time. Without consciously planning to, my flat is gradually becoming a Samsung homage!

More importantly though is their pricing structure which fits their huge range perfectly. You can still look at their top of range gear and think 'hmmm...maybe'. I was looking at their new 3D 40in LED Smart (wireless connectivity built in) TV today with a 600hz refresh rate (that'll do for the footie) and stood there for a couple of minutes watching Shrek 4 in utter amazement at the zircon ceramic sharpness and the gloriously deep and vibrant colours on the screen before me thinking 'hmmm...maybe'

After Christmas I reckon...

I love Samsung's product range, stylish, technologically advanced and beautiful to look at. I have used Samsung mobile phones for many years now and love the way they function and look. Reliability is never an issue and the menus are a breeze to learn. Samsung TV's are a work of art and look as good when not in use as they do when they are on. If you like aesthetics and advanced technology consider a Samsung product next time you ant to buy electronics. The website is very visually attractive and has a large range of sections, customer support, mobile phone apps goods etc.
