Stay away from Santrex

This is one of the worst hosting provider you will ever find. They start out looking okay, but it doesn't take long before you begin to regret every moment with them. Many times I was not even able to access my products because either the servers they were on were so overloaded that they could not handle anymore, or they were under DDOS attacks constantly. My products seemed to be down more than up. Working with support became a chore, as they would fix the issue and usually within a short period the same thing happens again. I finally just gave up with them. It may seem like a great deal saving a few bucks, but the headaches you will have far outweigh their good. I've tried quite a few of their products to truly give them a chance (3 VPS in separate countries and Webhosting) and none were good.

I spent over a year with them trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I chalked things up to the VPS's or hosting being in another country, but then I was seeing that other hosting providers weren't having the same issues. I also thought once they moved to a new data center in the UK (Where they are located) that that service should be top notch, so I bought it. How wrong I was. It started out really good, but it wasn't long before they had over sold the server my VPS was on and it crawled. It would take 5 minutes to ssh into it and when you did get on it, there was little you could do. The VPS wasn't even running anything, 1 Static Web Page. After working with support they finally offered to move me to another node. This just wasn't an option, as once they oversell that I'll be moving everything again.

Also they have a strict no refund policy, so when you do find out you can't handle them, they aren't going to refund unused money back. They will give you a credit to use on another poor service they offer. Spend the extra money and find a good hosting provider.

Santrex are useless, avoid at all costs

Their support is truly useless, 24 hours plus for a first response to a server down issue. One of my servers with them was down for 3 days and it turned out that the network cable was dislodged - THREE DAYS!!!!

I persevered with them for almost a year, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but really, don't waste your time, they are truly useless.

Save yourself a lot of pain and frustration and go to one of the many other excellent providers.

I have servers with over 20 providers in 16 countries, and I have never come across any company remotely as bad as Santrex, they are an utter embarrassment and I am ashamed that they are based in the UK.

Do not but anything or rent anything from here! You will regret it REALY much! i had servers here for a long time ago and it was so bad that i needed to shut down my game servers. They was unstable ALL the time, crashed often and when i wanted to contact support (game servers are urgant to get up when they crash) then it always took like 2 days before they fixed the problem and it was running agian (even if it was a simple reboot).
As dum as i was i bought a seedbox because it was cheep and SHOULD be easy. Well, i almost had my seedbox for 1 month and i only used it for 50% of the time because it crashes and i need to reboot it all the time from the browser.

If you are looking for a cheap nice company then DONT and i mean DONT take this, you will regret it.

i hope you will take a better choise then this.

Terrible company!

I have been a costumer at Santrex.net for over 2 years now, and i have finally decided to move to another company. I have been hosting company and fan sites, and have never experienced such terrible uptime and service. Their servers are down so often, that it is really unusable. Since i have been a costumer for so long, i really know about this stuff.

I can only say.. Avoid Santrex at any costs. Simply not worth a penny.

I think it is good.

I am not very long time costomer of santrex but I am compeletly satisfied with the sevrice quality and quantity they provide.

I host a small static site at one of their american servers and really glad being charged that cheap and recieving good support.

I think it is a fair company which corresponds the offered specs and price. The uptime is above average, and surely better than man can find for the same price. I also like their content freedom and the ability to host most of the applications and CMS.

This company can be recommended.

They suspend my account

I have a problem with Santrex webhosting provider. I have an account on Santrex.net and because one of my domain has a large CPU usage they suspend my account. I talk with the tech support but i get nothing. More then that they don`t want to give me an archive for my files. I don`t know what to do and what, it past 4 days now and still nothing.

160 kr for et år, men så var det ej heller bedre end det!

En ven og jeg besluttede os for at rygge mit host over til Santrex, da deres priser så utrolig lovende ud. Vi fik en masse plads og en masse andet for pengene, og festen var igang.
Desværre oplevede vi allerede et par dage efter downtime. Et problem kom da vi skulle flytte mit domæne til dem, de ville ikke lade sig godkende hos DK-Hostmaster. Igennem support tickes prøvede vi at få dem til det, men uden hjælp (Det endte så med vi blev nød til at benytte GratisDNS.dk)

Her efter har vi oplevet MANGE:
Nedetider.
MySQL databaser der forsvinder og kommer igen.
Umugelig at komme i kontakt med.
Koldt og ubrugelig support.
Max limit users på deres FTP servere. (Selvom ingen var logget ind på vores host.)

Så de 160 kr var på ingen måde givet godt ud - Så for jeres egen skyld, hold jer fra Santrex, selvom rabatkuponnerne lokker fra flere forskellige sites.
Det er det væste host jeg har oplevet, og jeg vil på ingenmåde anbefale dom som webhost (Kender dog ikke til deres andre tilbud, men denne løsning kan de ikke levere varen til) - Og deres support er som sagt elendig.

Dårlig service får ikke hvad jeg har betalt

Jeg betalte 500 dollar til dem for 3 uger siden og har ikke fået min vare!
