Excellent service,high quality with reasonable price
The customer service team was very patient n helpful, I could not find a color I want, they tried their best to search for the most suitable color for me, and checked from time to time, mailing samples very quickly to my hometown which is outside UK, just to make sure that nothing gobwrong.the furniture arrived on time, the quality is just perfect that our dreams come true!

Excellent quality furniture.

Professionall service
I were a bit concerned of ordering a sofa and get it delivered to Sweden.

Customer care on a level rarely found these days....
Saxon Furniture have something of a feeling of a bygone age where their customer care is concerned. Which is a good thing. All dealings with their staff were extremely polite, considerate and unhurried. The customer feels like it is their prime concern to make sure you understand what you are getting and that you are happy with it. And we were.

Quality and Style Worth Seeking Out
It took us over two years to decide on a manufacturer for just a reclining chair. It was always going to be an expensive purchase to obtain something different in quality and design and still be very functional.
The company is a "one off" in an age of mass production. Very relaxing showroom (which it should be considering the reason for the visit) and the ability to study the shop floor through a window all add to feeling of a quality manufacturer.
No pressure selling, just advice and over an hour of trying recliners made the choosing part easy.
Delivery was on time and the chair was soon in place. We had made sure the access was large enough for such a large item into our small cottage and I was soon experiencing the pleasure of owning and using quality furniture.
After a few weeks I am finding the chair is having a beneficial effect on my wellbeing. Although I am over 65 I still work and the relaxation and pleasure this chair gives me in an evening is hard to describe.

Lovely sofa, patchy customer service
The sofa we received is great. However I wan't overly impressed by some of the customer service we recieved. For a start we had to wait much longer than the advertised 6-8 weeks for delivery. During this time we received numerous communications from the company asking us to check swatches and confirm delivery, all of which required us to get in touch with the company. This is fine and I'm glad the company took such care. However it meant us having to call the company numerous times to confirm these points. This is where the customer service fell down. On at least one occasion my husband called the company using the number provided to confirm something. He was passed from department to department with noone seeming to know what he was talking about. In the end he spoke to someone who was abrasive and just said she couldn't hear what was being said and hung the phone up. Other customer service we received was fine but I would think twice about using this company again.

we also apologise for your husband's experience as it's not something we are aware of or are renown for, in fact,completely the opposite. We pride ourselves on our customer service and again as these reviews attest, we do a pretty fine job. We'd like to think this is an isolated incident and perhaps could have been a case of faulty reception by your description but even so, we are convinced that if you ever decide to purchase furniture from us again, we could have the chance to prove our high levels of service to you.

Great company, Great product Great service and its British
Matt. Just a line to thank you and your team for our two georgian chairs. From our initial contact to the delivery of the chairs it was a pleasure to deal with Saxon, nothing was to much trouble, the delivery team was also most obliging. This is a company that we most certainly highly recommend for furniture.

My husband's Captain's chair!
I ordered a Captain's chair from Saxon Furniture Ltd. The process of ordering was very simple and a deposit paid. We received an expected arrival date as the chair was made to order. We then received a date with a 3 hour window for the arrival of the chair. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. We paid the balance over the phone prior to the arrival of the chair. All in all this was a very professional way of doing business. My husband is delighted with his chair and I would have no hesitiation in recommending this company.

Really fantastic , everyone should buy from them.
We visited the factory and showroom in Bolton.
The lady was really great , very very helpful and we even had a factory tour which i found really interesting. We found what we liked , went home and measured up and the next day rang back and placed our order. Our order arrived about 6 weeks later and the Saxon delivery guys were great helpful and very polite. Our Chesterfield 3 seater ,2 seater and my armchair look great in the sitting room and all our family and friends have said they look lovlely.

craftsmanship, quality and service at affordable prices (as stated on the tin)
Well devised and robust business that produced for us a quality sofa that is exactly as we requested and they promised. Using the old cliche, 'it does exactly as stated on the tin'.
We chose a slightly more expensive leather finish which we can see already was a wise investment, not only for the quality looks but also for providing a robust hard wearing finish.
It was good to get away from fast razamataz advertising and get to the core of what we were looking for in hunting down a quality product at an affordable price; it is really comfortable, attractive and has all the promise of lasting for many decades.

saxon for anglo saxons
just bought a three peice suite and was happy with the way the transaction went was a bit apprhensive about buying without seeing or sitting on it, but the 28day unconditional guarantee put my mind at rest. i now find it comfortable and looks as good as it was a bit expensive so i am happy to recomend this company to my friends and family plus if anything goes wrong like sagging armrests etc. the guarantee will cover it.and i am sure i will get immediate attention.

very impressed
Was obviously concerned on buying such a large item without actually seeing it first. But looked at many web sites, blogs etc and Saxon came out very very well. We decided to go for it and after choosing from as many samples that we asked for , choose Vele Ruby leather we ordered Belgravia 3 and 2 seater chesterfields. They are lovely we are very pleased with the quality and service and would recommend Saxon to anyone.

Quality furniture, service and trustworthy
As international customers we were a bit concerned with our purchase.
However, the customer service was exectional serviceminded, repliied quickly, provided detailed information on the complete purchase and shipping process step by step - which were all handled with no fuss and no hassel.

Good service great quality!
Bought 2 chesterfield sofas. Very nice quality, look fabulous! I would definitely buy again! My only notice is that I did not recieve any documents following sofas ( not a big deal but I would like to have a printed documents saying that is made in Britain and not in china I.e.) as I said before the quality is excellent, strongly recommend original British furniture.

A Touch Of Great Britain In A Country House In Bavaria
Seit ein paar Wochen bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines Chesterfield 2 Sitzer Lederofas und meine Freude daran ist ungebrochen. Ich habe lange in Deutschland nach einem entsprechenden Möbel gesucht, aber entweder hat das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht gestimmt, oder ich war mir bezüglich der Qualität nicht sicher.
Per Zufall stieß ich im Internet auf die Firma Saxon Leather Upholstery. Wir wickelten das Geschäft ohne einen einzigen Anruf, nur per Email ab. Alles hat hervorragend geklappt, die Qualität ist ausgezeichnet und der Service ist geradezu vorzüglich. Alle An- bzw. Nachfragen wurden schnellstmöglich und sehr freundlich beantwortet.
Ich kann Saxon Leather Upholstery jedem empfehlen. Ich möchte all jene auch außerhalb Englands ermutigen, die ein echtes Möbelstück aus England besitzen möchten, den Weg über das Internet zu wählen. Die zugegeben höheren Versandkosten amortisieren sich leicht über den günstigeren Preis in England.

Since a few weeks I´m a proud owner of a Chesterfield 2 Seater Leathersofa and I´m very happy about it. For a long time I was looking in Germany about such a furniture, but either the price was to high or the quality was to bad. Randomly I found Saxon Leather Upholstery in the Internet. We made the deal without any phone call only by email. All things went smoothly. The quality is excellent and the service of the company is exquisite. All questions belonging to the deal were answered very quick and very friendly.
I only can recommend Saxon Leather Upholstery. I want to encourage anyone interested also beyond Great Britain, who like to own such a real english furniture, take the way via Internet to this company. The indeed higher costs of transportation to the continent amortise through the better price.

CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONIFIED
I had been looking to replace my exisiting furniture for approximately 3 years but could not locate a company willing to meet my expectations. I would not say I am a difficult customer but I do appreciate companies who put in that 110% . From my initial phone call right up to completion and delivery of my beautifully handcrafted furniture the experience was first class! I really cannot find any faults whatsoever. Sit back and relax, they have it covered
Wanted a new sofa to replace my old chesterfield that we had had for 27 yrs. Looked in all the usual furniture sofa stores and could not see what we wanted in the way of quality and value, so I did an on line search and found Saxon Furniture. I went to visit the showroom, was left to browse in peace, once I had seen the sofa I wanted I then went to the staff and asked about price and delivery. They were very good and not at all pushy. I ordered my 2 sofas with a deposit . I had to re arrange my date for the delivery but this was not a problem and they were very good at helping with a further date.. The furniture arrived on time and with plenty of prior warning, the men were very careful and helped us to stack and cover the sofas because we were not moving in that day. From begining to end they did what they said and we are now very happy with our new furniture, good quality at a good price.

Great service but some disappointment.
We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked into the store. Having driven over 75 miles to get there, this was good. Staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. As we were going on holiday as our order would be ready, delivery was delayed until we came back. Delivery was first class.
One thing that we are disappointed with is that the cushions are not all covered in leather so they can't be turned over to give more fair wear.
