I ordered goods from them 2 weeks ago and still don't have them. I've contacted them on 3 occasions only to be told 3 different stories. Today's excuse is that they have been unable to fulfil my order due to demand. Their paperwork is poor with no contact numbers on the email with the order number on. They are untrustworthy and unreliable. Use an alternative supplier.
Didn't know what I wanted or needed but the site made it pretty simple to find exactly what I needed and for a good price. A good number of items to choose from and free delivery was included considering how heavy the kit I bought was!
I've used Seapets to buy dog food for some time now and I've never had any problems. Items are often dispatched in less than an hour and usually delivered the next day. If the items are not in stock this is clearly displayed and the expected date of dispatch shown. The price is the best I can find on the internet (and far cheaper than my local farm stores), and you get loyalty points too! Highly recommended.
We have purchased Salters dog food from Seapets ever since we got our Golden Retrievers 5 years ago, I order online and the order has never ever been any later than 2 days, the service we get from Seapets is second to none - well done to Seapets and your team you do an excellent job.
So easy to use from start to finish with next day delivery too. Much easier than going to the shops myself and the dog food is cheaper than I can buy locally! I can safely recommend Seapets to everyone.
I found Seapets whilst trying to source a good price for dog food for my Irish Wolfhound. Needless to say she eats a lot and therefore needs big bags of food! Seapets constantly comes out cheapest for the food I buy. My cat has developed a taste for Applaws pate, which again is much cheaper at Seapets than anywhere else. So much easier than standing in the supermarket trying to decide which food to buy. Seapets is not only a very competitively priced site, but offer prompt, free delivery. On the one occasion I called customer services, I found them be be very helpful indeed. Plus the rewards system they operate gives you even better value for money. :)
After hearing some of the reviews on here for Seapets I was initially slightly dubious but I needn't have worried. Seapets were the cheapest on the internet for our dogs favourite food (Nature's Harvest) so I put an order in and waited. I didn't have to wait for long - I got my confirmation almost immediately. I didn't pay for speedy delivery, but my order was dispatched the following day and delivered the day after. All items as I ordered them (not the same as other companies who kept getting it wrong) and professionally packaged. Have now ordered from them three times and each time the same great service. So if they stock the item you want - go for it - you won't be disappointed. If only they stocked Nature's Harvest Wheat Gluten Free Mixer I would be able to do all my dog food shopping from them.
I buy my dog food from Seapets as they offer a good selection of brands, that are very competitively priced and are delivered for free. Much better than trying to lug a 15kg bag home from the pet shop! Delivery usually within 48hrs if not 24.
On 23rd December ordered some kitten food from Seapets which was shown as in stock on their website. Money, almost £40 worth, taken the next day. As the pet food had not been delivered and no email or other communication from Seapets by Mon 6th January, contacted them by phone. Said will be in stock by the end of the week. Nothing arrived. Contacted Mon 13th January, they said hadn't arrived but will by the Tuesday. Also said that they take the money up-front as had stock left unpaid for. Contacted again on Wednesday, still not delivered and ansked for refund. Account was credited within three days. All this time the kitten food remained "in stock " on their website. It seems that when you order from Seapets whether you get your item is down to luck - judging by other reviews you either get the items quickly if they have them, or wait forever if they don't. Trouble is there is no way of telling whether they have them in stock on the website as tells blatant lies - which is dishonest. Internet companies claiming items are in stock when they are not is business madness. Your customers will realise that you have misled them as soon as the items have not arrived in a reasonable time, as likely as not never use you again as a consequence and then post bad reviews like this one. For your own sake, Seapets, you need to rectify this and be honest with your customers, who if they know there is a long lead time, will be more patient or chose another product from you and remain reasonably satisfied. As it is I can’t recommend this company despite the competitive prices. Incidentally you can avoid being charged a fortune ringing their nasty premium rate 0871 number 0871 250 4777 for customer service by ringing the geographical number 01206 21 55 51 instead. Being charged a high rate to complain due to their lack of service just adds insult to injury. 02/02/14: As an update to above, we wrote to the MD complaining about the above. We got a comprehensive response back by return of post – much to his credit. Amongst other things the letter apologised for the poor communication and said that this will be addressed . Also stated unexpected issues with the supplier and issues with staff holidays over the Christmas period – which is understandable. Responding to complaints this quickly and comprehensively is much to the Seapet’s credit, though there was no explanation for the website stating that items were in stock when they were not. With Seapets competitive prices – often they appear to be the cheapest of all internet companies, using them is attractive, so perhaps the moral of all this is if you want something quickly, call them to make sure that it is in stock before ordering.
I have ordered from Seapets for some time now. I buy Skinners dog food products on a monthly basis as I have five dogs, ranging in size from a Jack Russell to an Irish Wolfhound. Four of the dogs do extremely well on Skinners rough and ready, and our rescue Greyhound has the Skinners Duck and rice as she has a more sensitive digestions. All five of them are healthy and full of energy. Seapets website is easy to use, and the products are priced very competitively, with free delivery over a certain amount. The delivery is always fast, and I always receive and email to tell me my order has been accepted and then dispatched. Fantastic company.
