I purchased a ticket for Roskilde Festival, through Seatwave. Having found a ticket at a reasonable price i was quite happy. When the festival approached I got anxious as I hadn't recieved my ticket, and the day before the festival started, I decided to buy another ticket on dba.dk. I sent an e-mail explaining, that I of course expected to have my money refunded, since I hadn't recieved my ticket before the festival started. However my money was never refunded. Don't use seatwave unless you have a lot of extra cash.
Not being a techno head I found that this site was uncomplicated, simple and very straightforward. There was no confusion when placing my order I received clear instructions and a process that was faultless when retrieving my tickets. I would definitely use seatwave again when purchasing tickets.
I purchased tickets to see Russell Brand way back in March, its now April, for this coming Monday. The date was rescheduled from December so my guess is the tickets are well and truly printed. I am writing this on the Saturday prior to the gig on this coming Monday. The tickets are being delivered by UPS which means they will not arrive today. I have to work on Monday so if the tickets arrive I will not be here to receive them. During the past week I have been e mailing Seatwave who assured me my tickets would be with me, firstly within 3 working days, then the next working day. Finally they completely ignored my e mails. Today I phoned Seatwave ( I should have done this during the week ) only to be told it was unlikely the tickets would arrive in time for the gig but it would be useful if someone were here during the day on Monday just in case they get delivered. That means yet ANOTHER day someone has to wait in for the tickets which probably didn't even exist in the first place. Had Seatwave told me this last week I may have been able to get a hold of the tickets elsewhere. The person I spoke to on the phone was charming, very polite, sympathetic and helpful which was the only positive thing about Seatwave. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM SEATWAVE, unless you enjoy disappointment. I didn't even want to leave one star.
I had a fantastic time! It was amazing and my quick, effortless transaction with Seatwave paid off once again. JT is now ticked off my bucket list -or is he? I really want to see the show again - Once really isn't enough!
First used Seatwave a couple of years ago for a concert happening less than a week later, as it was my first time of using I did worry I wouldn't get the ticket in time but I got it with a couple of days to spare. Have used Seatwave a number of times since. Would always use Seatwave, unlike other second sales outlets, I know that there is a genuine ticket available and the prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend Seatwave
Whole transaction went smoothly. HOWEVER, Seatwave charged my buyers £10 each for postage, yet i was expected to send the tickets by recorded delivery at my own expense. Seatwave simply pocketed the amount the buyers paid for the delivery charge. Nice one.
We booked trough Seatwave to see Katy B, very reliable as tickets came soon after buying. Little bit pricey as the original ticket price was £14 (each), but we paid near £100 for two. Great venue and atmosphere when we were in Manchester. Would book again through Seatwave.
bought my tickets through seatwave they were very great with comunication, when i got my tickets they had somebodys name but when i contacted them they cleared they out to me that they didnt have to have my name on them. with the Show Xfactor when it came to going there i couldn't coz i just coulndt get there on the Day of the show and when o tried to sell the tickets i couldnt. so i wasnt very happy, not by just loosing more than £100 but, that i couldnt see the show
OK so I do not usually leave reviews but I have to warn other potential users about the pitfalls of using this website.
I purchased some extra tickets to see Tinie Tempah at the O2 last night. It seemed an easy process, albeit somewhat expensive.
My purchase was made around 1pm on Sunday with the concert starting at 9pm. Plenty of time you think, but by the time we left home at 4.15 to make our way up to London whey were still not available to download. In fact by 6.30 they still had not arrived, I took the decision to purchase another pair of tickets from Viagogo, who seem to have a policy of making sure sellers upload their tickets when they place an order to sell. Not so with this company though. My new tickets (through Viagogo) were delivered instantly. However, even when I was in the O2 at 9pm the tickets from my Seatwave purchase had not been uploaded.
So the moral is DO NOT DEAL with this company. There is no obligation for the seller to upload. I am £115 out of pocket and you would think that Seatwave would understand from their systems that the order had not been completed and had an automated (reassuring) email informing me that I would get a full refund and apologising for not completing the order,
I don't even suppose they read these reviews as it appears no other reviews have been commented on by Seatwave. That is pure arrogance in my view.
PLEASE take the time to read this. I do not want others to suffer the nightmare that I had with Seatwave. In a nutshell I paid £260 for two top tickets for the rugby on 15/3/14 in Rome. I needed two tickets next to each other and I was taking my dear wife to her first ever rugby international. The first set of tickets were not even in the same or adjacent row. These were refused. As the date got closer, there was still no sign of the tickets. Seatwave suggested that the tickets should be sent directly to our hotel in Rome. Upon arrival, guess what? No tickets. I phoned Seatwave and they stated that they had been unable to contact the seller. They offered a refund which at that stage I declined. They have now insisted on a refund WITHOUT any compensation...they have tried to offer a discount on my next booking with them....but you can imagine my reply. I have asked for my complaint to be taken to their Board. They are close to Criminal Deception as they have never had the tickets in their constructive possession. Thank you for taking the time to read this....don`t touch them with a bargepole.
