PLEASE take the time to read this. I do not want others to suffer the nightmare that I had with Seatwave. In a nutshell I paid £260 for two top tickets for the rugby on 15/3/14 in Rome. I needed two tickets next to each other and I was taking my dear wife to her first ever rugby international. The first set of tickets were not even in the same or adjacent row. These were refused. As the date got closer, there was still no sign of the tickets. Seatwave suggested that the tickets should be sent directly to our hotel in Rome. Upon arrival, guess what? No tickets. I phoned Seatwave and they stated that they had been unable to contact the seller. They offered a refund which at that stage I declined. They have now insisted on a refund WITHOUT any compensation...they have tried to offer a discount on my next booking with them....but you can imagine my reply. I have asked for my complaint to be taken to their Board. They are close to Criminal Deception as they have never had the tickets in their constructive possession. Thank you for taking the time to read this....don`t touch them with a bargepole.
Purchasing tickets from Seatwave is a total waste of time. Our tickets were not dispatched, it was close to impossible to get hold of Seatwave by phone to find out what was happening with our tickets, and when Seatwave finally confirmed that the tickets would not be sent (I expect because they never existed in the first place), I received an automated 'apologies for the inconvenience' email. Whilst Seatwave did refund the cost of the tickets, the real inconvenience was the cost of the Eurostar tickets and hotel in Paris that we had booked and paid for and that could not be refunded.
Whilst this was all highly inconvenient for us, it must be very convenient for Seatwave to be able to fund their business off the back of interest free loans provided by people like me that purchase tickets through Seatwave in good faith, handover considerable amounts of cash to rest in Seatwave's account for weeks/months to provide free working capital for their business.
I will never use Seatwave again, and I will tell anyone I can find that will listen to me that they should not use Seatwave either.
Bought 2 tickets for her and whoever she chose to take as she loves Drake. she said she had a fab time but did mention that he wasnt on stage long enough. also mentioned that the warm up act Weeknd wasnt that great.... On the whole i trust buying tickets from seatwave due to the security aspect of them emailing you to confirm your purchase. This prevents someone paying with your card through paypal (if thats how you choose to pay) The face value of these tickets were £48 each so to have paid the best part of £200 was rather extortionate.....its the people who buy the tickets as soon as they go on sale and then resell them back onto seatwave...... Food and drink expensive, chips £3.50 just what you expect from the 02 arena.... Well, at least she had a good time but next time i will buy tickets as soon as they come on sale to avoid the price hike by greedy re-sellers.
FTP never fail to impress with their new album lineup I had my self dancing to the beat. Seatwave helped me get last minute tickets for just a few pound extra. Would definitely use them again, awesome set awesome night!
Seatwave allowed me to purchase tickets up until the day of the event. Seatwave is a great way of feeling secure about what you are buying! And the e-ticket option is brilliant as the tickets were printable within a couple of hours.
On Saturday night went to see Jason derulo at the NIA in Birmingham , the show from start to finish was fantastic , seats were brilliant 5 rows from the front in perfect view of the body popping god himself !!!!! That man can dance !!! And support act Connor Maynard has found himself a new fan also ... Album bought the nxt day !!!! AMAZING SHOW !!!!💗💗💗💗💗💗
I really wanted to go to a concert set up by The Wanted. However, looking at other sites I had seen that the best seats were not available or were way more expensive as I was booking these quite last minute (3 weeks before the concert). I then came across Seatwave. Honestly, I'm so glad I came across this site because they provided me with GREAT tickets for a good price. Seeing Elyar Fox, The Vamps and The Wanted has really made me smile. After over 4 years of supporting The Wanted, I can finally say 'I have met my idols!!' The show was exhilirating and this not the last time I buy tickets from Seatwave! So, thankyou Seatwave for providing me with some great tickets, even though we are only 3 months in the year, this one concert has made my year! So thankyou a million!! :)
Used them to get tickets for London Grammar in Amsterdam so overseas venue. Traveling from Saudi Arabia so a bit risky. Had no problems. Email tickets not instant as suggested by them but arrived two weeks before the gig and no problems whatsoever. Customer service good as well. Face value well exceeded but a price to pay to get the tickets. Would use again without hesitation.
Lying, cheating conmen. They have outdated, inadequate IT systems so if you are a seller and remove your listing from their site they still sell the tickets that you have removed 4 hours or more later and they have the brass neck and audacity to say that you did not remove them in the first place. They know they have a crap IT system as they are the only company who do not send a de-listed confirmation e-mail to you,GETMEIN,Viagogo and Stubhub all do. Liars, cheats and hated by all.I absolutely detest this Company -they will shaft anybody for a buck,no morals, scruples or ethics. Buyers and sellers, use GETMEIN or Stubhub, the two best Companies out there for buying and selling tickets.
We were desperate to watch Michael Buble in Manchester on 1st March went searching and through telegraph I went on seatwave and there were these 4 tickets with an amount of £461.91 and we bought them. When we got to the arena they didn't let us in since they were fake tickets. The seller bought Robbie Williams tickets since they were cheaper and edit them to michael buble. To get in we had to purchase other 4 tickets costing £80 each from the box office . SHAME on SEATWAVE that does not monitor their sellers properly . Hope we get our STOLEN money back
Ordered tickets 2 months ago. concert is tomorrow and have not got my tickets. They have promised me on a numerous amount of occasions to source me other tickets but have failed. Their customer service team are rude bastards and think they know it all when they clearly don't know how to run a company, I will be missing my concert unfortunately but after losing out on nearly £450 i will be taking this shit hole of a company to court. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. STICK TO TICKETMASTER.
