Very unhelpful

Do NOT use See Tickets! They recently charged us £6 per ticket booking fee for a concert at The Royal Albert Hall and then refused to either refund or exchange when I received a last minute date for an operation. £76 ended up in the bin and they were rude and unsympathetic or helpful. We will certainly not use them again but book direct with the venue as all venues are happy to exchange or refund.

No problems at all

I feel as though people may be very quick to leave reviews given a bad experience but neglect to leave one when good service is received.
I have now used seetickets twice in the past 12 months and experienced no problems whatsoever.
On the first occasion it was just two muse tickets bought quite close to the event for the cheapest seats, I chose seetickets as it had cheap seats closer to the stage than ticketmaster. The tickets arrived in good time with the exact seats requested. (It was a fantastic show)
On the second occasion the tickets were rather more expensive; two weekend with camping and one car park ticket for Sonisphere 2014. The tickets themselves came to a total of £450 and with this I was charged a fee of £3.50. To me, this is an extremely cheap fee. I could not believe it. The fee for my Muse tickets too was small at a measly £2.31. Compare this for example with ATG tickets who charged me £9.50 in fees for 2 £10 theatre tickets and you can see what I mean.
The sonisphere tickets have already arrived with (free) signed for delivery and 3 months until the event.
I really cannot fault seetickets.

Avoid false advertising!!!!

Do not ever use this company especially the meal deal options it's false advertising show you a nice menu and you turn up to restaurant and get 2 choices of main and 2 dessert nothing like what is on their website. Customer services is also a joke on hold for 23 minutes and still no answer avoid this company!!!

Rude, unapologetic, patronising staff, extremely difficult to contact by phone, endless automated messages.

I attempted to purchase theatre tickets online through the See Tickets website one evening last week. I entered all my payment details, including the extra Verified by Visa security checks, then an error page appeared, saying there was an unexpected problem. I checked my email and no confirmation of my booking had been sent. I then tried to find a telephone number to ring See Tickets - what a hassle this is! The number was very well hidden, they'd much rather any questions were sent to them via Twitter. I eventually found a number and called them. Their phone number is 10p a minute, and they waste so much of your time and money with endless automated, irritating messages, telling you to tweet them or contact them via the website. After being on hold for 15 minutes I gave up and decided to try tweeting them.
I got a quick response from their Twitter account, saying there is no order for my name and therefore no payment has gone though. However I was concerned that the payment might have still gone through so rang my bank to double check, and I was horrified to be told that they had taken my money and it was pending out of my account!
I then rang See Tickets yet again to try and sort this out. By this point I just wanted the whole thing cancelled as I was so angry. Again, I was put on hold for 15-20 minutes. When I finally got through, the man I spoke to was very rude and abrupt. All he kept asking for was my order reference number, despite me politely explaining several times that I have no reference, no order details, nothing! Eventually he decided to put me through to a lady who was equally as rude. Again, she kept asking for my reference number, and in an extremely patronising tone told me "You know you can do this online yourself" - How can I without any order details?!?! I also told her that I had been sending Tweets to their account and she scoffed and said "Oh!! I didn't realise the Twitter account knew more about orders than me!". I was feeling so frustrated at this point. They weren't listening to me at all, and not once did anyone apologise to me for this inconvenience. Eventually the lady on the phone realised there had been an IT error and that I wasn't making it all up. She promised me someone would call me first thing the next morning.
Surprise surprise - no one called the next morning. I spent my entire half hour lunch break on hold to their customer services and never got through. I was so infuriated, bearing in mind the show I bought tickets for was the very next day. I did eventually receive a very abrupt voicemail at 4:30pm, telling me they had rectified the problem "but if you want to cancel call us back". No apology, nothing. Thankfully I got my tickets in the end but I am just so furious with the appalling way I was treated. I will never use them again.

Appalling service!

We bought tickets 5 months ago as soon as they became availabe for a concert this April. Got great seats in Row C. See tickets called just a few days ago to say they were changing our seat allocation to Row L. Trying to call them back was completely impossible, no matter how long you hold on, no-one ever answers. I have discovered the same thing has happened to other people for this concert (and many others too it is clear from these reviews). So they take your money and keep it for 5 months then withdraw your seating allocation and give you awful seats you could buy now 10 days before the concert. 7 emails and a written letter finally got a brief email reply saying it wasn't their fault and this rarely happens!! Read "regularly" for "rarely" for the true picture. See tickets have completely spoiled the anticipation for the show and on the night I know I shall just be counting all the rows between where we are sitting and where we should be sitting....if the tickets get us in at all that is.......never again, steer well clear if you want tickets for something that matters to you.

Purchase tickets through See Tickets

It's a very complicated experience. I have had to buy tickets for company's clients, the whole purchase experience was complicated, customer service was very unfriendly and not understanding my difficulties (customer!). Difficulties in spelling my name and surname were addressed as "I know that already", and turning out in having the wrong information. Which has caused me wasting time to call again!
Tickets were lost in the mail and have to head off to the theatre for collection.
Generally very rude and unfriendly attitude from most of the agents.

So relieved !!

Bought Russell Watson Cardiff tickets for my daughters Christmas present before I'd read reviews for the company . Blind panic set in afterwards as most reviews were horrendous . I bought" up close and personal" tickets for £95 each so I was really worried in case they didn't arrive . We were e mailed almost immediately with our confirmation . We then received two others to inform us that tickets would be sent nearer the time ( concert was March and tickets purchased December ).About 4 weeks prior to the concert date we received another e mail to say our tickets had been dispatched and would arrive on Wednesday , which they did.
What more could you ask for ?

Only interested in themselves

If it goes OK - no problems. But to be honest, putting some tickets in an envelope is not difficult. Once it goes wrong, they havea 'seetickets says no' / 'you'll get what you're given' / customers don't matter attitude. it's all their convenience and nothing about the customer. And this was when they made the mistake! Dear knows how they'd treat you if you dared to do something wrong. Oh well, I'll just have to go elsewhere for tickets.

Loses one star for sneakily adding in ticket protection which is no use to man nor beast.
However when contacted via facebook (send a message quoting the ticket number) a refund of the protection insurance was offered.
Providing the booking fee is competitive than I'll use them again, but I'll be sure to deselect the ticket protection insurance.
I do like the e-ticket option at no delivery charge. maybe event specific but this is definitely the way to go.

ROB WILMSHURST - Hang your head in shame

We booked four tickets to see The Duck House at The Vaudeville Theatre this week. Sadly, due to totally unexpected changes we cannot get to London to see the performance. I paid £7.40 for Ticket Refund Protection. I thought this protection would do as the name suggests and get us a refund ! Ho ho. Not a chance. So why have I paid this £7.40 to them. Is it a way for Rob WILMSHURST to grab more money from his customers? To me it feels like theft. I have spent no end of time trying to talk to a real person. All I get is automated machines. I feel this is dishonest of them. Avoid them like the plague if you have a chance.

Rubbish

I wouldn't knowingly use See tickets again,but they seem to dominate ticket sales and you don't often know who's selling until after.I booked 2 Muse tickets as a Christmas present for my husband and son.Got 2 good seats as I booked early.Had an email 2 weeks before the show to say that the seats had been changed,2 blocks further away from the stage and right at the back! Disgusting!really upset me.No explanation.I finally got my money back minus about £18.The worst thing was that when I contacted them to ask for better seats ,they said none were available but were still selling better ones online!!It made me wonder if the original seats were ever actually available.

Excellent speedy service !

Having accidentally booked tickets through see tickets I was mortified to read some of the review horrors. I shouldn't have worried, I ordered three tickets to see Matilda in May 2014 as a treat for my daughters birthday. Instantly got an email booking confirmation with correct seats on, within a week of booking the tickets they have arrived so I felt it only fair to add a positive review to put other peoples minds at rest.

Rubbish!

Quick to take my money off my credit card. No booking reference given, no e mail. When I called them to check, the staff were rude and unhelpful. On second call they were a little more helpful telling me to pick up tickets 1 hour before the performance.
This trip was supposed to be enjoyable. I've no idea if there are any tickets now. Theatre trip for my wife's birthday spoilt.

Almost Didn't Use this Company

I am planing a special trip for myself and my daughter to London to see the sights and a musical. See Tickets had the best seats and price compared to other agents - I read the reviews and hesitated but as my tickets were not for 2 months I thought I would risk it. I orderd my tickets for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, unlike other reviewers I had absolutley no problem. I received an email confirmation of order another email a few days later telling me my tickets were on their way and finally a few days after purchase they arrived. The seats were the ones I had chosen. So going on my own experience I would certainly use the company again.

SELL SELL SELL

Yep i have to say that See Tickets is one of the best websites to sell tickets for your events and even when i need help on what to do they always Email me within the next working day or the day after but other than that i am glad that iv lucky to start making my events on a site that people use a lot and with my business Character Costume hosting events all most every year and need some where to sell tickets for free with out been charge to sell them that's how i saw see tickets and thanks to them i can sell tickets to over 1000 people in the uk!

BEST AVOIDED

Bought a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) to a pantomime, purchased in September, and in late November See Tickets contacted me to say that my purchase had had only been allocated to 1 seat.
See Tickets admitted it was their admin error, but we're not apologetic in any way, and seemed unwilling to help me.
Extremely rube, unhelpful and aggressive customer service staff, would not just simply allocate my correct paid amount to the four tickets it should have been, said they would have to cancel my order and I would have to re-purchase my tickets.
However the supposed customer service manager Christopher Lough, thought it would acceptable to offer 2 sets of 2 tickets sat separately, so my families Christmas treat is now an event with massive hassle and not sat together.
Do not trust this company with anything that is important to you, they don't care, and their staff are really rude.

'See Tickets' appaling service

Booked tickets in July for a London show through See Tickets. At the time of booking on their web page following entry of card details the website froze and nothing else loaded. We telephoned 'See Tickets' to see whether the booking had actually gone through and were advised that it had and were given a booking reference. Telephoned mid November to find out when to expect tickets which were our childrens' main Christmas present only to be told that the booking hadn't gone through properly. The apparently only senior member of staff in the building made no attempt to help us obtain alternative tickets and told us it was our fault for not reading the information on the web page that advises the booking isn't confirmed until a confirmation email is sent. But given that the web sight froze and didn't complete the transaction this would have been difficult to notice. We regularly go to the theatre but I would be reluctant to use this company again.

Won't keep their word!

For the upcoming Placebo event in Zurich, Switzerland on Nov. 18 I bought 4 Tickets. Beside the presale they promised to send tickets at home. I was already charged for this service. However I have to pick up my tickets now at the box office in the evening of the venue.
Meanwhile the local provider has started the selling as well and they are selling each ticket CHF 10.- cheaper and they are sending them at home for sure.
I won't recommend see-tickets!

DO NOT USE!!! They charge you but don't send the tickets OR refund you.

I purchased a Glastonbury car parking pass that never arrived. I emailed See the day before my departure and was told to simply buy another on at the event and refund would be issued. I got in touch with See again a few weeks later to confirm the original pass still had not been delivered so I was unable to return it (the one I got at the festival couldnt be sent as its a sticker that had been used). I was told that I would not be given a refund as the ticket they sent in the post had not been returned to them within four weeks and if for any reason it isn't then a refund request is simply not reasonable.

I did try to explain that I couldnt send something I had never received and they just stopped replying to me. They are still refusing to rectify the situation.

FREE T-SHIRT MORE LIKE RIP OFF!!!!

We ordered 2 tickets to see jessie j at the 02 arena on the 29/20/13 these tickets were supposed to come with 2x free t-shirts (normally free mean included in the price). One t-shirt arrived last thursday the other one is still to arrive bearing in mind the concert is TOMORROW night we are still missing one t-shirt! we have emailed and tweeted for weeks now regarding these free t-shirts and have been ignored and got no answers. Its only when i publicly tweeted their customer service was rubbish i got a reply and have more or less been told if the t-shirt dont arrive by tomorrow then tuff luck. The customer service is disgusting and their ability to resolve and problems their customers may have.
