being a complete cliff richard nut i was thrilled when i read he was performing at a venue about 10 miles from my home. i rang the venue to be told i had to book through seetickets and was given phone number and web address. i was online at 9 when tickets were available. at 10.05 i had looked at the seating plan picked what looked like a good seat and paid £70.25 job done pleased with that ! this was dec 2012. april 26th this year received a email saying i'd been moved shoved out to the side seating and 18 rows back ! how can this be right or fair ? who can look at a seating plan and decide to move me ? i'm gutted all i want to do is sit in the seat i had chosen. have sent 3 emails and written to their head office cant get anywhere. dont even want to go anymore so they've had my 70quid sitting in their bank account earning them interest for 5 months now. why should i be moved ? to make up more seating ok but one seat in a middle block ? i dont suppose i'll get anywhere with them they'll hide behind 'terms & conditions
Well i ordered two tickets for the prodigy at brixton academy and i was informed i would receive them through the post.I've used see tickets before and they've always been pretty good so i just waited for them to arrive. Then i received a phonecall from seetickets asking if i'd received the tickets and when i said no they told me not to worry i'd just have to pick them up from the venue on the day of the gig.on arrival at brixton i was told that see tickets had not asked for any tickets to be printed so i had no tickets and to contact see tickets.I've since been after a refund and today two months after my initial inquiry i've been told i can't have one because i was told i could go in.Poppycock i say and i'm not going to leave them alone until i get my money back.If you use this firm you may have no problems for a while but when they do get it wrong they do it in style.
purchased tickets from see and had a great service. choosing to use them again I ordered tickets for my daughters birthday back in October, (concert not till Feb). I had emails telling me I hadn't been forgotten, but no tickets. Then received an email to state tickets had been dispatched. After 10days there was still no delivery so I contacted see to get some advice and was told to wait until 48hrs before concert and then phone. Is this so they can't do anything about it as I see no other answer to this. It is obvious tickets are either lost or were not actually dispatched at all. Please take my advice you will get a good service the first time you use them and then when you are sucked back in they will rip you off. As concert hasn't been yet if by a fluke I receive tickets I will come back on and state I was wrong.
Purchased 2 tickets to attend Kisstory @ the 02 on NYE, took 3 working days to reach my address and kept me up to date via email when my tickets were despatched etc. Couldnt fault anything and will use seeetickets again in the future.
I bought 2 tickets to see Jesus Christ Superstar at Liverpool's Echo Arena. I booked 2 seats on an aisle at the back but when I got there I found I had been given tickets in a middle of the row at the side which were wholly unsuitable due to a neck injury. Customer service was appalling as they failed to respond to my complaint. This is probably due to the number of complaints they receive!
I was concerned after booking the tickets as I then read reviews but they assured me that I would get the tickets. I would never use this company again and would urge others to avoid.
I will certainly review companies before using them in future!
When I saw that lostprophets were playing at the Portsmouth guildhall I simply decided that I MUST go to that concert, so asap I begged my dad to buy some tickets for me and two of my friends. Not thinking about which company we should use, we mindlessly clicked on the first link that appeared was SeeTickets.com and this was the site we used. Later on, after buying three tickets I started noticing bad reviews about this company which led to months of worry. And today that worry has ended. After coming back from work, my tickets were waiting for me at home. I am very satisfied with SeeTickets.com, and I expect that I will continue to use the company in future.
The only bad point is that the tickets arrived about 2 1/2 months after they were ordered. But I dont mind theyre here now!
I ordered my tickets for Reading Festival with Seetickets, following a link directly from the Reading website and then I got worried, after seeing so many negative reviews.
Fortunately everything was fine with my order, I received two email updates regarding my tickets and was able to track them with the see tickets website. They arrived a little later than my friends tickets (who had used ticketmaster) but I had no problems.
Hopefully this means this company is turning a corner.
I regularly go to gigs and have ordered many tickets through seetickets.
I ordered some tickets just before going on holiday - I was getting back on the Sunday before the Monday of the gig - I've done this kind of thing before and just picked up the tickets from the depot - or alternatively the ticket company just passes the outstanding tickets to the venue and you pick them up from the gig.
I returned on the Sunday and there was a card as expected - Monday morning I rang seetickets and they told me my tickets were at a depot that was not open on a Monday!
Rang the venue and explained the situation but the venue said 'no ticket - no entrance'. :(
I wrote to seetickets and asked for a refund - ultimately they had put the tickets in a place where I was unable to retrieve them on the day of the gig - but they said I should have got them earlier, ignoring the fact that I was away.
When things go wrong is when you get to see how good a company really is - and seetickets were rubbish.
Ordered Stone Roses Tickets on the morning they sold out in 90mins or so, See Tickets was the only website that could actually process my order. Tickets arrived yesterday 3.5months in advance. Kept informed via email on order and on despatch. Very happy customer.
I booked a ticket for my mother to see Mathilda the musical. Unfortunately I got confused by the leap year and I booked on Wednesday the 1st of February instead of Wednesday the 1st of March (ofcourse as 2012 is a leap year, the Wednesday is the 29th...). I read their terms and conditions which stated they cannot refund or change any tickets. I decided to give it a try and call the customer relations to explain to them my mistake. They've refunded the February 1st ticket and booked a new ticket for the 29th without me having to beg for anything. All this without any additional costs! They really were super helpful, understanding and wonderful!
Had an awful experience with Seetickets, during which time I couldn't buy a ticket from their website that was listed as available, further to that it cost me a great deal of money in expensive calls to the company to investigate what was actually their mistake, return calls were not made to me as support staff had offered, no compensation was offered, and requests to raise a complaint with support staff were blatantly ignored.
Wouldn't consider using or recommending this company to anyone.
I’m not usually one to complain about things but Seetickets are one of the worst companies i've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I booked my tickets months in advance for the Soundwave festival in Croatia so I paid the extra fee expecting them to be sent out in plenty of time. Seetickets had other ideas....despite all my friends receiving their tickets at least a month before festival(they used decent ticketsites), Seetickets website order status said they still waiting to be sent the tickets by the organisers and that they should be sent within 48 hours of the festival! As i was flying out to Croatia 3 days before festival this was obviously not good enough so i emailed them explaining the situation. The Customer service department actually seemed to take pleasure in my predicament and each reply i sent was answered by a different person, all with similar levels of unhelpfulness and rudeness. Eventually after about 8 emails and a phonecall they grudgingly said only option would be venue pick-up. When i arrived at festival they hadn’t informed the Boxoffice of this and i had to sweat for about half an hour at the ticket pick-up because Seetickets had not sent through the details, luckily the organisers were understanding and i was let in. The event organisers even said Seetickets were "abit dodgy". In my opinion Seetickets are crooks trying to make extra cash by getting people to pay for postage with no intention of sending anything out. They nearly ruined my entire holiday and caused alot of stress without showing a hint of concern. Steer the hell clear. I would never use them again under any circumstances.
Despite the low reviews here I never had a problem with my experience. I ordered tickets over a year in advance, and although the tickets didn't arrive till a few days before the event, they did arrive and I had no further issues.

Bristol Colston Hall did not check the size of Scoop and so the show was cancelled three days before. I have emailed on numerous occasions but no reply. Each time I call I get an engaged tone. My 2 and a half year old is still asking when we are going to see Bob! £36.00 LOST.
Absolute diabolical service!
Tickets ordered and paid for 10 months in advance.
7 days to the event still no tickets. 5 emails sent, not one single reply. Over 2 hours in total on hold on the phone and not once was the phone answered.
Could NOT attend the event as the tickets STILL hadnt arrived and my calls/emails went un answered.
Guess what, Tickets arrived 3 days AFTER the show...how very useful!!
DISGUSTING lack of customer service. I am now forced to attempt a charge back via my credit card company to retreive my funds.
I will NEVER use Seetickets again, ever!
