CHEAP CLOTHES, CHEAP QUALITY. TOO BIG.

I ordered a load of clothes in my usual size. tops, trousers, jogging bottoms - all were too big. (tops waaay too wide and trousers very long, good if your about 6 foot tall) The shoes I ordered in my usual size were too small. The fabric is very thin on everything, you can see through all the tops. One item was on the order, I was charged for it and it didn't arrive with the rest of the items. I have requested a return for the clothes and a refund for the item that wasn't delivered and hope the customer service isn't as appalling as these other reviews suggest! (Wish I read them in the first place!)

I ordered a number of items from select. Whilst i was happy with most of them there was one item that i wanted to send back. However i then found out that you have to pay for the return fee! I understand it may cost them a lot of money but i think the only reason they have done this is because it makes it a lot harder to send back! They don't even give the address you have to find it yourself. So, they may think that they are not loosing out on money and that making customers pay for there own return fee is okay, but i assure you i will not be ordering from there again. As an on line shopping website they should be open to the fact that customers are not always going to be happy with what they buy and be able to help them whenever they need and making them pay for there own return fee is unacceptable.

1 star isn't low enough!

I sent 4 emails and am yet to receive a reply from any of them a month on. No point in calling as they never answer. when i finally got through I was told that the courier left my parcel in my porch, which is incredible as i don't have a porch!! I contacted the courier who told me I would have to go through the company i ordered from. Today I actually spoke to someone at select fashion who has reassured me I will have a full refund in 5 working days so I will have to wait and see if this is all over for a little while longer. Over all rubbish service and to anyone needing to contact them in the future i suggest you call them (it may take an hour or 3 for them to answer) as they must either not respond to emails or ignore them all together. Wont be shopping with them again!

DISGUSTING SERVICE NO APOLOGISES RUDE UNHELPFUL STAFF WHEN YOU FINALLY GET THROUGH

Took my money for order straight away, waited two weeks and still nothing so contacted them via email as they never answer the phones and was told very rudely it was my fualt as i hadnt given a house number even though i had! took the house number and said would be with me in two working days when it didnt arrive i emailed again and got a response two days later saying they would get my order straight out and give me a 50% discount code for my next order as a sorry. Order came with two items missing and no discount code, spent the whole morning trying to call when i finally got through 4 hours later i was told they are busy and someone would call me back in 15 minutes, surprise surprise no call back!!! still trying to sort the issue. NEVER USE THE WEBSITE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT DELIVER! why havent this company been investigated surely this is breaking every law!

Will shop in store from now on.

Im currently on the phone to them, Ive been on hold for 10 minutes, I tried ringing the number on the website, no answer. Rang the head office number given on this website and I'm still on hold. Im absolutely fuming! My parcel was due on the 7th of Jan, Yodel has left me a note saying that they left it over the gate. Ive checked all around my house the parcel isn't there. As I'm typing this right now on hold they just put the phone down on me after i was waiting for 10 minutes. Im so annoyed. rang them back and they are apparently going to give me a call back. Lets see what happens.

Rang them back again, got through and was told they would ring me back after the current call they had was done, they didnt ring me back so 2 hours later I rang them again, waited 15 minutes on hold, got through the woman apologised, she said she would refund me my delivery costs and they would resend my items.
I asked to speak to someone to complain about having the phone put down on me.

2 days later I got another call and they asked me what was wrong, so i presumed it was someone phoning me back so I could complain, they seemed oblivious to the fact that someone had told me that my parcel was being resent. She told me that my packages weren't in stock so they would refund me all of the money.

I was then phoned to be asked if I could take down this review as they have been busy and they would like to compensate me with a free ten pound gift voucher to use in store.

I wouldnt order from here again.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY STINKS!!

been trying to contact customer service on the number what's on there website for about 2 week's now, everyday every 10 minutes and still no answer. sent emails and no reply! soon as you contact head office on 020 7424 3160 they put you straight through and get a answer within minutes, don't apologise for nothing though which is disgusting. still waiting for my order to get sorted after speaking to someone 2 days later. wouldn't EVER order from select again because customer service stinks!!!

OUTRAGEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICES. - DO NOT USE!

If, like me, you cannot get through on their customer services number advertised on the website, try dialling their HEAD OFFICE on 0207 424 3160 who will then put you through to customer service.

I phoned customer services three times and left messages asking for someone to call me back and no one ever did. So I phoned head office as above, and they put me though, someone instantly answered. No apology, just "we are busy". Pathetic.

15/01/2014 - I got a phone call out of the blue from Select customer services apologising for their appalling service back in December. She said they were understaffed and were in the process of changing courier companies and would be looking to improve things going forward. She said as a gesture of goodwill they would be emailing me a code for 15% discount. She then asked me if I could delete or change my above review. I said I would not be changing my review because that is a true log of events back then, but I would add this information in an additional footnote.

VERY POOR AND DISGUTING SERVICE

I would advise anyone never to shop with this company. The clothes dont look like anything on the website. They do not send confirmation emails. They steal extra money from your account and you cannot get hold of anyone to talk to one the phone as they are alway out. Then their postman/courier clearly not the cleverest person leaves the package on the door in plain sight of everyone. Doesnt leave a card to say he has been to the door. SELECT IS JUST PATHETIC

I have received very poor service from your customer service team. I emailed on Wednesday morning to advise I never received any confirmation email of my purchase on 10/12/2013 . Requested someone to confirm what was going on. Nobody bothered to come back to me. I then made another purchase believing the first order might not have gone through as I was not provided with any order number. The second time purchase again didnt receive a confirmation email (am not even sure it is legal to do that),

I advised both the website and on customer service by email to cancel both orders as their service is disgusting and personally I dont think they should be allowed to trade. Today I receive a package the invoice is for £42.80 yet they have decided to pocket an extra £10 so my account shows they have taken out £52.80. I dont know how their genius mind have worked that out. They have also taken out £58.70 for the second order yet I advised immediately that to cancel both orders as it is clearly their procedure not email confirmation of your purchase, even Ebay do not do that so I dont know who they think they are.

I am physically going to a SELECT shop nearest to me and I am not leaving until I am refunded all my money. It is their fault they have cocked up the order. Select you must be joking if you think I will spend any more of my money on you by posting. I do not see why I should be inconvenienced any further.

I have even tried to ring their offices four times. Nobody has bothered to call back. Why have a shop if you not going to provide the service the customers are paying with their hard earned cash?
From the reviews I have read, this will not be it. I shall be making more official complaints.

Until I have received my refund of £111.50 I shall not be resting. They can keep their clothes. They are not worth the money. I have also noticed you cannot return clothes to the select shop, is this because they are aware of the abysmal service you provide?

I am also writing to the head office to alert them of their company services not that they will care. All they care is that the have taken money from trusting customers believing they will have a good shopping experience. Am also writing to an ombudsman to request further advise on why it is this shop is still allowed to con lots of people from their money constantly.

HORRENDOUS

I placed an order on 06.11.13. I received an email confirmation, confirming the order straight after. The money was then deducted from my account (£56) straightaway despite my goods not having even been picked/packed - why do they take your money straightaway before dispatch? Is this legal? I then received another email, saying one item I ordered had been charged for, but was 'unfortunately out of stock', and my card refund of £12 would take anything up to 15 working days to credit back to my card. Why on earth does it take that long might I ask?! It has now been refunded, but again, that is not the point - do not take money until items are dispatched.

I wasn't too bothered by the above, and to be fair to the company, my goods arrived very promptly. I was slightly disgruntled to see they use Yodel, however, on this occasion, Yodel had actually managed to deliver my goods.

After opening the goods, I immediately noticed one of the items was missing. This item was only £7, however, it is not the monetary amount, it is purely the principle.

I then noticed a dress I ordered came without a belt, which should have been with the dress, as the dress has belt loops, and also the photo on their website indicated it came with a belt.

Upon opening another package, another dress I ordered had come with a snapped belt - I really am not making this up, although you could be forgiven to think I was! At this stage I was absolutely disgusted with the quality of goods sent.

I sent an email on 09.11.13 and received absolutely no reply, however, I did get an email confirming they had received my email, and apparently, intended to reply within 3 working days. Now, either they're completely snowed under, or they simply hit 'delete' when a customer emails in to complain.

Due to having no response, I sent another email on 18.11.13, asking if someone could have the decent to urgently respond to my first email. Again, today, 20.11.13 I've had absolutely no response.

I've now contacted the relevant governing body about this company, as they have made countless illegal acts on one single order. I am also taking the time to visit my local store, and I would STRONGLY urge anyone with issues to do the same thing, and I'm going to confront the Store Manager in this branch, and I will not leave until my problem is 100% resolved. Obviously, if other shoppers overhear my complaint, and the fact I'm willing to take legal action with this company if necessary, then so be it - I can only hope they DO hear it, and Select loses further business.

The company should NOT be trading, absolutely horrific customer service - I urge anyone who's thinking about placing an order not to, and go elsewhere, such as Next, New Look etc, where they actually respond to their complaints and deal with them accordingly.

SENT ME THE WRONG ITEMS , DIDN'T REPLY TO MY EMAILS DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Select Fashion are terrible I ordered a matching bikini set, but when I received my item, I had received two bikini tops even though it stated clearly on the invoice that I have ordered a bikini set (top and bottoms).
I sent them numerous emails and left voice mails on the number given on the website but I still received no answer then when browsing reviews of the company I came to this site and saw that someone had posted a similar problem to mine and left a number to reach select on.
When I called them they did not apologise, she sounded as if she was not even listening as she asked me to repeat my problem again, she gave me a solution but still DID NOT SAY SORRY and when I asked her "why has no one replied to my emails" she LIED and said there must be a technical fault as shes seen no emails, then when I hung up the phone minutes after they had the cheek to reply to my mail . the email that apparently was never seen!
DO NOT buy from Select overall they are rubbish, they give bad customer service and bad communication !

Items can take up to 1 month to arrive - even then yodel don't have the house number on the parcel to deliver the items!!! no one returns my calls/emails at select appalling customer service

WORSE INTERNET FASHION STORE IVE EVER USED

Ordered a few items on 03 June 2013, and got confirmation email more or less straight away, great.... thats where the good service ends.
The cost was debited from my account the day after, and online in my account, it was marked 'your order has been approved and is currently awaiting to be despatched'. so i waited and waited, and on the friday, i sent an email, stating i was aware of timescales, but if the order has been awaiting dispatch since the tuesday, did they have any clearer idea of when i would get it. got an email response stating i would be contacted within the next 1-2 days.... ive had nothing.
i called numerous times, and left messages on their answering machine (seems impossible to get though on customer services number) so i called their head office (0207 4243160), and was put through via them. the girl who eventually answered didnt seem bothered, just said shed mail dispatches, and ask for express delivery to be done today tuesday (over a week after order placed, and a week after they took my money!!). i asked if she could call me back to let me know what had been agreed, and she said she wouldnt, id get an email ( which is a no-reply one ). i asked if the express was next working day, she said 'no', 1-2 working days. that was it... so lets see if i get anything before the weekend.. frustrated, will not be using them again on the internet, for sure!!!!!.... just be aware, they are absolutely rubbish... :(

AWFUL DO NOT BUY FROM SELECT FASHION EVER!!!!!!!

BEWARE BUYERS! I spent 45.00 pounds with them on the 2nd of May for a few items in the sale, The delivery was free because it was over 40.00 pounds. So I wait till the 6th of May and my parcel has not been sent out for delivery, I checked this on Select Fashion website. So then I sent them an email saying why haven't my items been dispatched yet? So they apologize and say they will send it out express delivery THAT DAY in the email which would be up to 1-2 working days. Its now the 9th of May, and I checked the website and my items have STILL NOT been dispatched. Its a complete joke, I've now sent them a second email saying if they don't send my items or give me a refund I'm going to Trade and Standards. This is the WORST company I've ever bought from. Not to mention they never pick up the customer service phone, and I've tried calling them like 5 times in the last 3 days. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE COMPLETE AND UTTER RIP OFF! WARN ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

I wouldn't recommend.

No replies to email, no answering the phone, possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered some clothes and after reading reviews online, 3 days after I placed the order I emailed them asking them how long the standard delivery would take and they sent it express delivery so I got with within 5-6 days, I was very happy. However only one of the items were in a plastic bag, the rest just loose, the jeans I recieved were a different shade of pink to the picture on the website, the denim shirt had a yellow stain on the back and the two tops I ordered were not a flattering fit. I kept one plain white vest and have been hoping to have my 'return request' processed, however this has not happened and I am not waiting on the company to reply, meanwhile I'm stuck with faulty items and my money tied up in the company.
It's been at least 2 weeks no and no return! No response! Absolutely terrible service, I'm very unhappy.

After reading the reviews I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I have been very disappointed and unfortunatly, after this, won't be ording with Select again.

Wrong sizing??

I orded a few bits on the website and had it expressed delivery which came on time but when I got my parcel I wasn't very happy the way it was packed it was just shoved in!! Also I ordered a size 8 top and it looks like a size 16 with a size 8 tag will not be shopping online with them again!!!!

Horrendous customer service

Placed an order and soon after decided to cancel but received no response after 5 days (they say they aim to respond within 1-2). Tried to call but never any answer, left voicemails and was never called back. Finally sent another email and got a response but they did not address my concerns at all - the item I wanted to cancel had arrived meaning I would lose the postage (which is unreasonably high!). Very inefficient service. What's more, the email was poorly written as if by a child! Never again

I paid for express delivery and its now been 11 days and my items haven't been dispatched!! I won't be shopping there ever again!!!!!! MARK MY WORDS!!!!AM SO ANGRY WITH THEM!!!! THIS IS FRAUD!!! Absolutely shocking!!!

I WOULD HAVE GAVE NO STARS IF I COULD!!
I do quite a lot of shopping online and thought I'd try select (what a mistake that was) i ordered my items which stated they would be delivered in 3-5 days, I ordered on a sun so was expecting them to have arrived by the fri, 14 days on still nothing.
I logged into my select account which is saying my items are awaiting dispatch!!!!!!! After 14 days??? And still haven't recieved my tracking number. I have wrote complaint after complaint which I still haven't recieved replies to.
I gave customer services a call yesterday who said I quote "the men in deliveries are very busy and are working overtime" (yes shocking I know) I replied with nowhere on your website does it state about delays and if its that bad employ more staff!! They also said i would recieve my email with tracking number that day and i never did. My order was for a gift to my sister her birthday was 18th (I ordered on the 10th) in result of this I had to go and buy her other gifts. I have been robbed of my money from select and think its disgusting, I would advise ANYONE to stay well away from select especially online if you want to keep your money!! I will be doing anything in my power to make sure ALL my friends/family stay well clear off this horrible company!!!!
