Superb service
The process to get a quote was very easy, and I received a higher quote from sell-your-laptop than from any other website. There were a good variety of payment choices, and the payment was prompt, plus with a free courier as well as texts specifying when the courier would arrive, it would be silly to give any less than 5 stars.

Great and efficent service
They offered me the highest amount for my laptop of any company on the market. Once you agree to their quote, they make everything easy for you, arranging for someone to pick your laptop up. The service was ultra efficient as I received payment the very next day. Highly recommend their service to anyone looking to get rid of an old laptop.

It was really easy to get a quote, the quote was the highest out of all the websites I'd tried. They collected the laptop (free) the next day via courier, then I received an email to confirm it was received and an email to confirm payment had been sent - a very easy process, was perfect! Happened across SYL.com via Google. Staff quick, polite, professional via email when I had queries - saved me a lot of time/effort. Super easy courier service and payment made within 36 hours of my laptop arriving. Fair money paid so a 5 yr old machine with no loaded OS or charger. I am completely satisfied with my first sell-your-laptop.co.uk experience. Owing to a recent upgrade, I needed to sell my old laptop and I'm delighted I chose this company.
First off, their website is really easy to use. The quote system was quick and offered a fair price. Once I found out how much I would likely be paid, their courier arrived on time, and I received a confirmation e-mail as soon as my laptop arrived with the sell-your-laptop team. A day later I was told I would be paid the quote I was first given on the website. I felt I was dealing with a dedicated and professional team I could trust.
Overall, a quick, reliable and useful service for anyone who has upgraded their laptop, and dosen't have time to mess around with ebay etc. When I need to replace my current laptop, I know where to go, and I'll be telling all my friends too!

completely trustable, very strong recommendation
1. I thought after they received my laptop, they would find many excuses to pay me less. But surprisingly, they didn't and paid me the amount I got online before I sent my laptop.
2. Very efficient! They collected my laptop on the following day and paid me at the same day when they received my laptop.
3. Very honest! Since my laptop recycle companies collect your laptop for free, then they find excuses to pay you less. If you disagree in this procedure, they will charge you normally around £34 for returning your laptop. That's totally unfair!!
4. I will use this company for my other recycled laptops

Excellent Service, Great Company!
I used Sell Your Laptop purely because it was the top trusted link on google, and offered a nice price for my old HP Compaq. The courier collected the item on the day of asking, early morning, which i'd put it an old cardboard box. No real problems with the service, other than i had to wait a few days longer for my money, due to the courier taking the laptop to the wrong depot. Even so, i phoned and asked, and was told the problem virtually straight away, and said they'd resolve it as soon as possible. The problem was solved the next day, and then I received the money. Overall, a great service and brilliant company. I would highly recommend Sell Your Laptop to anyone.

5 Star Service.
Fantastic service and I would agree with all that has been said in the other reviews no point repeating.
Only criticism is the courier - I was told that PDP would text me on the morning of the collection with a 2 hr slot which sounded perfect. They of course duly arrived unannounced in a white unbranded van.
If anyone knows any of a decent couriers pls post a review here as I have never met one yet!
The most difficult part of the whole process is doing this review which is not user friendly surprisingly!!!!

Great company
I got the highest price online for my Dell laptop. They were very good, and fast payment, but my only complaint would be that the courier was meant to come between 9 and 5 and actually came at 6 - I know this isn't their fault but perhaps they could change this on the website to say that they could come between 9 and 6 and then it wouldn't cause issues with people planning to leave at 5, etc. Unfortunately, according to the website, this company won't take my previous laptop (it's too old) so I'll have to go to another website, even though I think this one is the best/safest to use.

Could Not Be Better!
Fantastic, words almost can't describe how impressed I am.
I was offered the highest price out of every website I visited. The Courier picked up the Laptop on the agreed day, free of charge. The next day i received an E-mail confirming the Laptop had arrived, and then only one day later, I had the money in my account.
Quick, efficient, reliable, informative and highly recommended service.

So impressed!
I was able to arrange pickup for the very next day-- they picked up both laptops at the same time (despite my putting them in separately) and offered me far more than the other sites. It almost seemed to good to be true when I got the confirmation emails, but I got a call right away and received the payment the next day right into my bank account.
It was so easy and so fast, I really can't recommend the service highly enough. I've just sold them another laptop in fact!

A very fast and easy to use service. They also pay a good price compared to other sites.
The courier arrived on the day arranged and collected the laptop without any problems. The very next morning I received an email saying my laptop had been received and was being tested. A few hours later they rang to get my bank details and the money was transferred electronically straight away.
To say the laptop was only collected yesterday and the money (which is the same amount they quoted) is in my bank today is impressive. Give them a try!

After locating this company on google i decided to obtain a free quote online for my old laptop. I spent ages trying to find somewhere that would take my laptop from me and give me a little cash in the process. In finding Sell Your-laptop i got more then i bargained for.
