Sizes seem much bigger than expected.......and still waiting for a refund
I ordered two dresses in size 10 and a pair of shorts in size 8 having followed the size guide on the website. All the items were much too big, but as well as that I sadly suffered a miscarriage so had to return the items anyway. I sent them on the 1st August and Seraphine claim to have not yet received the items (as at 12th August). I do have proof of postage and have been asked to send it if I hear nothing by the end of this week (which will be almost three weeks after posting). I returned items to JoJoMamanBebe and ASOS on the same day but received full refunds on the 5th and 7th August. Seraphine say it takes 5 working days for postage, and then 10 days to process the refund, but it seems excessive to me when other companies can turn it around so quickly and also provide an email to acknowledge receipt of the returned items.
UPDATE: As at 22nd August I still haven't received an acknowledgement email to confirm that my items were received, even though Royal Mail say they were delivered to Seraphine on 5th August. It is now 13 working days since they received them and still no refund. I sent them proof of postage by email on 16th August and today they asked for it again. To be honest, chasing a refund for maternity clothes is the last thing I need to be doing 4 weeks after miscarrying my baby!! :(
