I found serving stop online and as I like dragons den I contacted them to arrange to have my car MOT done I personal dont like having to wait around so I was looking for a company who would collect & return it once it was done.
last year I had used a simular service & couldnt remember their name so decided to use Servicing Stop instead.
They couldnt do the day I wanted & that should of been a warning sign to me but they collected it a day later.
The man who collected it was very pleasant to say the least. Later on in the day I had a call from them to say the car had failed & needed to have work done on it pass the MOT, all to the tune of £300.00
Now that was the shocker when I asked them what needed to be done when they said front wiper blades I could accept that £25.00
When they said rear brake pads, I SAID NO WAY i had them done last year & i had to ask them if they where sure the guy questioned me and then it slightly changed to be about the rear disk. costing £250.00. I dont do excessive driving I live in a little village and do less than 6000 miles a year.
I then asked them to return the car and they sent me the invoice for £24.00 which I paid and they returned the car that evening. Durning this time I went back on line & found the company who had done the MOT servicing and changed the rear brake pads in 2012. Who came the next day & collected the car & confrimed the fact I didnt need to replace the brake pads but the wipers did need to be replaced so including his time,
the replacement front wipers & the retesting for the MOT it cost me £75.00.

First time using these guys, booked online, received the call to confirm for the following week - all very efficient even though I needed it done fairly soon, so leaving very little time to find an alternative, I thought I could trust them to turn up. However ....
On the day of the collection after taking the day off work nobody showed up, rang them to ask where they were and was told there had been an unexpected emergency at the garage and they couldn't collect, no call to let me know or postpone or rearrange. The woman on the phone was left trying to find some other time which she couldn't do.
This is perhaps unfair on Servicing Stop it is more likely the garage in Mitcham that can't be bothered to fulfill their orders. However, I won't be using the service again.

Found them on the Internet so easy you type in your registration and immediately they give you a price. I booked it and from then on the service was ACE! They even get someone to come and collect and return your car at a time that suits you. They send a reminder the day before and follow up with a call. I received a call to say my car and passed it's MOT and service was complete and I asked if they could return it before 2pm and no problem it was delivered back with the inside all cleaned. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
I decided to drive my own car to the garage and within a couple of hours i got a phone call saying as per my service book, the engine oil needed a flush out, brake fluid needed draining and pollen filter needed replacing for around an extra cost of around £150, I forget the exact cost. This would bring the cost right up to what an authorised dealer service would cost. I declined this extra charge so the work was not done.
If I had taken the car to an authorised dealer, I would have paid more with all these extras included and I would have had the car valeted with a courtesy car provided, so using this service did not benefit me at all. The servicing stop servicing schedule in my opinion is very misleading, there is no mention of any extra costs apart from any special oils needed or any out of the ordinary items needing replacing. My servicing handbook stated I needed all these things doing but this company wanted extra money to carry out the work which should have been included in the cost. After I phoned them to complain, they said different cars have different schedules for replacing items, this may be so, but does not alter the fact that certain things needed to be done and were not done, so what is the point in me giving them my servicing book? Also my handbrake needed adjustment, this was not touched because it is the same now as before the car went in. If it was possible to give a zero star here I would give zero
If you are about to run out of MOT, I suggest contacting Servicing Stop Ltd. They have one of the cheapest and professional services around. If there is something wrong with the car, they will take care of that too. I can’t say enough good things about them. Very recommended!

I booked my car in for half service & mot, costing about £135. my car was collected on time by a very nice chap, a couple hours later I got a call to say what was needed for it to pass its mot & that would've taken the cost up to about £380, Ben then listed off a few other things that needed looking at which I decided to do too which took the bill up to £660, when the car was dropped back ( the same day) the break light wasn't replaced & the car wasn't cleaned. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because of these last 2 factors, £660 is quite a different figure from the original so soften the blow & wash it! Apart from these 2 wrongs I would use this service again & recommend them to a friend
I have to admit there was a bit of hiccup in the beginning but with the outstanding support of customer service agent Craig, I have to say this has been the best car service I have done. Craig was well spoken and he easily stood out from rest of the customer service. I was really pleased to see the length Craig went to make sure everything was in order, made me sure I will use Service Stop again for my next service and MOT. The car serviced really well and top of that the delivery time was spot on. I was constantly kept in the loop so I knew exactly what was happening to my car. Service Stop earned the 4 stars from me but due to the supportive customer service agent Craig they deserve 5 stars.
They are always talking me out of spending any extra money I may be considering that they don't feel necessary at the time. I recently called to have my brakes looked at. They had my car collected, and back in time for me to go on a long trip with my family. I will continue to use Servicing Stop Ltd as they are number one in my book.
We have used Servicing Stop for the past 2 years for all of our company vehicles and the service they offer is very impressive.
Initially we used to call the main dealer for a price comparison but after typically saving over £200 on each service we no longer bother calling. . To book the service is very straight forward, takes a couple of minutes on line and then you receive an email/phone call confirming. The booking has always been within 2 days, the vehicle is collected and delivered back within the same day. We have always received a call with regard to the breakdown of any additional works/costs which to date have always seemed reasonable.
I cannot recommend this company enough right through from the initial contact to the drivers collecting they are always friendly, efficient and informative.
I hope this company keeps going from strength to strength and does not lose sight of what makes them so great.
Had car serviced and mot'd on 2 separate occasions and was very impressed with service and price both times. Same garage was used each time. They rang with a few issues during the service and I chose which ones I wanted remedied, there was no pressure
This was only based on a simple MOT. I have a friend locally who is a mechanic and does all the work on my car so knew that it would pass without any issues. I'm not sure I would be prepared to have my car serviced through them though based on previous reviews, though this will all come down to the garage doing the work on their behalf and I think on this occasion I got lucky.
Having been to several garages in the past, this is the best in terms of taking personalised care of every individual customer. As a first-time customer, I truly felt I have been valued as highly as any VIP would get from other service providers. It turns out to be a very pleasant experience for me.
I was very pleased with the service I received from Servicing Stop again. Collection and delivery were punctual and cheerfully carried out; contact with the personnel carrying out the service was helpful and informative and the costs were all very reasonable. Will be back next year!
This is the first time that I have used Servicing Stop and I had read adverse comments on the net and was a little concerned. However, they were very helpful, the car was collected and returned within the time specified and no additional work other than that which was required was sought to be done by the garage used.
Decent service and at a great price was pleased with it all.
Collection and delivery was done in the timescales and the garage were really nice,. im just happy that I have found a brand that I feel I can trust so I will recommend to my friends and family.
I booked in my car for an MOT for £24 with free collection and delivery on the site. The car was booked in for 48 hrs, for collection between 8-10. I looked around, and couldn't find anything on the internet close to this price, so was a bit worried that it was to good to be true. However my Audi was collected today on time, and I was called at approx 2pm with an update to say my car had passed it's MOT. There was an advisory on the brake pads, but I was told by craig from servicing stop that these would not need changin for at least 3,000 miles. I was sent an email with a link to pay, and paid online using my card. I was very impressed with the whole concept of the idea, and it is the easiest MOT experience i've had to date. I told craig i'd give him a mention as i was expecting a call back with a list of parts that needed changing, but instead got some honest helpfull advice. I will be using this company again, and am happy to recommend to all.
Website is impressive with all the logos along the bottom -BBC, Dragons Den etc. Also pick up and drop off service seemed handy. I booked an interim service for £120.
The car is meant to be collected between 8am - 10am. After 2 phonecalls to chase them up someone finally arrived -at 12pm.
The lady who picked up my car was old enough to be my grandmother and had no clue how to drive my automatic Fiat 500. I showed her the basics and reluctantly let her take my car.
The car is meant to be returned between 4pm -6pm. As they had been 2 hours late collecting it I asked her to make sure the car was dropped off on time as I had to go to work.
At 5.10pm I receive a phonecall from servicing stop staying that my car was on its way back to me but they were sorry but it had been damaged. (!) Oh and please can I make an immediate payment online so they can release my car?
As I had requested for it to be returned early, they couldn't fix the damages in time that day, but would do so for free anytime next week.
I spoke to the garage direct and he said that I was lucky that the guy who scratched my car admitted to it. ???
When I got my car back, the passenger door was ruined with a major scrape from the top to the bottom! And the drivers side mat inside was covered in mud which added to my frustration and anger as the car had been valeted only 2 days before.
I am now really worried and nervous about the repairs they will do to the door next week, as they showed no consideration for my property the last time they had it, but I don't feel like I have any other choice or option in the matter. Have called service stop to speak to customer services but was put on hold for 10 mins and disconnected - twice... only to be told when I did get through that the one guy at customer services is out and they don't know when he'll be back!

Rubbish service, booked MOT over a week ago ,still not done now told by servicing stop garage could not do today as too far away ( 9miles!!) but they can do it next TUESDAY ! if i take it there myself, sent email to complain have hade no response from customer service but looking at previous reviews dont think i will ever get a response, do not use this company absolute cowboys.
Was quite happy with the agreed time collection and communication. The guy collecting was polite but didn't have any protective seat covers whilst wearing his garage attire! I had to call the garage because it had not been returned at the agreed time slot, had to wait at work for a hour, garage said their driver had got lost again! Car passed but noticed that the guy collecting/deliverying had used the car as if it was his own! Drivers seat was virtually horizontal, the radio had been tuned to Kiss FM and the petrol mileage range which showed my next fill would be around 65 miles was now warning me that I required fuel and was on 15 mile range! The return journey between collection and garage & back again is less than 10 miles not 50 miles!!!! The only way for this to happen is if the driver had been driving it at speed on sports mode (Audi TT TFSI). Not as cheap as stated and you cannot trust the people collecting your car that they will drive it responsibly. Do not expect to use the services of servicestop again!!!!

I tried to book a service and my first MOT for Thursday 28th March, but received a telephone call within 5 minutes of sending my booking request to tell me the earliest date they could fit me in would be Tuesday 2nd April - hardly a long wait given the Easter weekend/two bank holidays between my trying to book and the service taking place! My car was collected well within the time slot and I was telephoned mid afternoon to tell me it had passed the MOT. There was an advisory notice that my front wheels were out of alignment and one of the brake pads was sticking - they could fix this for less than £40 over the agreed price for a major service and MOT - no hard sell at all. I had wondered if my brake pads needed changing and had told the very pleasant gentleman who collected my car in the morning. When my car was returned, he told me that the caliper had just been a bit 'sticky' but that it was fine now. This is the second time I have used Servicing Stop (and the same garage) and despite having nearly 43000 miles on the clock I have not had even the slightest suggestion of any additional work save for the sticky caliper - no new brake pads or shoes (a common 'problem' on my previous car - needing annual replacement!), no new tyres, nothing at all except a full service at rates far lower than a main dealer, and using approved parts. I am more than delighted with both Servicing Stop and the extremely efficient garage that they recommended - my partner has used the same company (different garage due to different make of car) and I happily recommend the company to all my colleagues at work - no hassle service, no unnecessary 'extras', just turning up when they say they will, car returned in a clean condition at the time expected and trustworthy people to deal with - it's a winner!
