Great Service

Excellent service. A three step process that fitted in around our busy lives. The designer, the surveyor and then the fitter were all very professional and respectful when entering into our home, non intrusive and a no pressure sales method. The finished product looks great and has really enhanced our house. I would definitely recommend Sharps to friends and family and use them again myself.

Absolute Nightmare... Worst customer service I've had

After a little searching, we ordered a fitted wardrobe with Sharps up to which point they were great. As soon as they had our money they, pushed our delivery/fitting date on three separate occasions by 2 weeks with them denying that they promised the previous date, being rude in the process. We had taken time off to accommodate them each time. We they finally delivered, they missed out so many parts in was ridiculous. Their fitter came and could only work 2 hours and had to leave. Three days later and the wardrobe still hasn't been fitted. We have a bedroom which is upside down with mess and an unfinished wardrobe. Sharps aren't answering our calls. No phone call to update us with what is going on.

I would definitely not use them going forward. Horrendous.

Brilliant f rom start to finish!!!

The whole Sharps experience has been easy and scheduled like a military operation.
The designer and surveyor attended when they said they would, the delivery came right on time and the fitting was superbly executed. They have all be extremely professional and I would definitely recommend Sharps bedrooms to anyone. I am now left with a beautiful bedroom. Frances Turner

Sharps rise to the challenge with flying colours!

Having bought an old cottage with a spiral staircase, low ceilings with oak beams and no discernible straight walls, fitted wardrobes were questionable; however Sharps designer assured me that they could meet the challenge - and they have done so!
Martin the designer arrived punctually, took very careful measurements to ensure that the materials would actually go up the stairs, shared his ideas and plans and left within the two hour arranged time!
I was a little disappointed that of the 21 ranges available I had only had a choice of one finish due to the structural limitations of my property; however now that the wardrobes are finished I am very happy with the finished product.
The surveyor rang to explain he was stuck in traffic and would be slightly late. When he did arrive he worked efficiently to check measurements etc, did make some amendments and explained the next step - the delivery of the materials in advance of the fitting. We discussed the fitting arrangements - as a teacher I needed the fitting to coincide with the beginning of the Easter holidays.
The materials were carefully delivered by the Ryder team (subcontracted delivery service working for Sharps) who checked the packages and recorded any damaged items.
Jason Lock the fitter, arrived at 7.50am on the agreed day and worked non-stop throughout the day until 7.45pm. He was courteous and challenged some decisions made by the planner - we discussed options and agreed a compromise which I am more than happy with. He took great pride in his work, invited me to view the work as it progressed and cleaned up any mess! He returned the next day with alternative shorter door handles as I didn't like the longer type included in the order.

I would recommend Sharps to anyone as I have a beautifully fitted bedroom and am more than happy with the service I have received.

Brilliant from start to finish

Sharps kept me informed from start to finish. Fitter came early in the morning working hard way into the afternoon, would recommend the company

Good quality service provided by helpful and friendly staff

We went into the Banbury store and were pleased with the helpful service and knowledgabel staff. Whilst the designer and surveyor had to come out to us both twice as the original design didn't quite work, it was no trouble for either od then despite neither living local to us. The fitter, Russell Shea was amazing. He arrived before 8am and didn't leave until 8pm and barely had a break. He was polite, cheerful and friendl;y and the qualifty of the finished wardrobe excellent. He tied up too!

Is Sharps getting bankrupt? DON'T RISK

The company does not seem to be able to fulfil its obligations. I now had my installation cancelled for the THIRD time. When I asked the customer service agent if Sharps were going bankrupt as some reviews had suggested, she was not able to answer straight, asked me to hold so she could consult someone (even though she said that there was no supervisor there at the moment, quite obviously a lie). She came back to say that there was an associated company that went into administration but Sharps were not. With the third cancellation I am getting convinced that the company is having some major problems. I see the review that has exposed this has now been deleted, for the lack of proof of purchase. I suspect this was a builder who had not been paid for his work, as this is what the review was referring to.
You risk major major disruptions if you order from Sharps at this point. Avoid.

Wonderful wardrobes

Sharps did a very good job. Their staff all arrived when they said they would and they were easy to talk to. I had some ideas about what I wanted but they made suggestions and I ended up with wardrobes which I cannot fault in any way. I would use them again if I need anymore new furniture.

lovely finished product.. communication could be better

Fitter excellent, polite and hard working.. lovely end product, just what we wanted!

the communication from sharps could have been better, product ordered was discontinued after we ordered, noone told us until came for final measure, then some debate whether could have, then they said yes we could but not sure when? We chased after first fit was happening, got told it could not be confirmed, then we had a rather off voicemail saying they had already confirmed our final fit date? News to us!

Just the job.

This is the second time we have used Sharps; from booking the design appointment to the fitting, it was all done by very knowledgable people.
I would recommend Sharps as the quality of the materials are excellent and fitted by people who care about your needs and the end product and how it works for you. Mr & Mrs Lee

Brilliant, what a transformation.

Buying from Sharps was a painless experience. The salesman was polite, pleasant and knowledgeable but not pushy. The office were efficient booking the surveyor who in turn was thorough and ensured we were fully aware of any slight changes to the original specification. The bedroom arrived on time and is to a high quality, as did the fitter who was very experienced, very helpful and it was evident he took pride in his work. He used common sense to question things he thought might look odd so we had the option to change them. we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sharps to friends or to use them again ourselves.

Incompetance and bad business practice

I wanted to have two bedrooms done. The space was not suitable for ready made furniture, so, lets something build in. Sharps is suppose to build furniture to fit in every possible space. So the designer came, and after 5 hours of compromising from my side we ended up with something similar to what I had in mind. It turned out that most furniture parts are prefabs and also the choice of wood finish was very limited. "You can have this door but only in this size, only in this wood and so on and so on......"
After 5 hours, I gave my credit card and a deposit was charged. Not happy with what I was suppose to get, but tired and exhausted I was just glad this was over and in the end there were furniture to hold my stuff.
The surveyor came a month later and just told me that he don't know what the designer was thinking, but it was impossible because half of the items listed in the order form and on the design were not made by sharp. He left and made an appointment for a different designer.
I've called sharp and told them that I am no more interested in doing business with them and I was promised a prompt refund. Now I am still waiting, get all promises and reassurances on the phone and that's it. The designer should have never taken a deposit. There was no contract and the order form was only, like the drawings, a guideline for the surveyor. Now there is a lengthy procedure of cancelling the "order". I've learned my lesson, never give money if you don't know you will get what you pay for. Sharps is holding my money now since 5.March and I pay interest for the credit card payment

Efficient, professional and friendly

Our work was completed to time and looks fabulous. Really professional job and the fitter worked very hard. Would definitely use Sharps again.

great service and product installation

this is the first time I have used sharps bedrooms the designer and surveyor very helpful the delivery was on time the fitter Russell did an amazing job installing 2 wardrobes in the alcoves either side of the fireplace he was very methodical left the room clean and tidy the wardrobes look stunning the brochure doesn't do them justice I am so pleased with them

A beautiful end product

I recently had a fitted bedroom by Sharps and found the process to be quick, easy and professional. The team right from the showrooms salesperson through to the delivery and fitters were excellent. The finished bedroom is more than I expected and I would recommend Sharps to others. The products are expensive but with the guarantee that comes with the furniture this bedroom will last for years.

There customer service is dreadful, need to learn somne manners

Just to warn anyone who is thinking of buying bedroom furniture from Sharps Bedrooms DONT!!!! think again before you do!!!!! I had a visit from their designer and surveyor both nice professional men, Then the problems and dreadful customer service started plus the lies. They booked to deliver materials and for the amount they were charging should have been good stuff, the sliding doors were lovely but all the wood was MDF so wasnt happy, fitter booked to come on monday 17th March, friday 14th I get a call that the fitter gone sick so would be coming Wednesday 19th instead, he didnt arrive and Sharps said they couldnt contact him, nor did he arrive thursday 20th finally they again rebooked a fitter to come on monday 24th, he started work and then Sharps called to say he couldnt come on tuesday or wednesday but would be back thursday 27th he did turn up and finished job finally on friday 28th. Fitter was a nice guy and work he did was lovely but in all the 2 weeks I slept in a room with no carpet or any other furniture, plus listened to all the lies Shaps were feeding me before, the fitters boss knew nothing about any other fitters booked to do my wardrobes. I ended up taking 2 weeks off work in total, so lost revenue for that time and finally they offered me £50.00 compensation, what an insult, they are lots more of their lies etc to this story, so would appreciate all my friends sharing this story so it shames Sharps into sorting their lying staff out, again as I say do not use this company as they are crap by the way this wardrobe was £4500.00
