Very useful and easy to use for receiving transportation quotes - perfect!

I needed to have a motorcycle transported from the UK to Denmark, and asking for quotes from the "main" shipping companies were simply to time consuming. I bought the motorcycle on eBay UK. Since Shiply is connected to eBay, it was really easy to ask for a transportation quote for the motorcycle, and within a very short timeframe I received quotes from several companies. The one I selected proved to be perfect for the move.
Regarding Shiply and my experience as a whole, the service was very good, and there were no problems.

A really useful service

I received quotes from companies of which I would not otherwise have known. A good selection, and the one selected proved to be perfect for the move. Of shiply, I just wonder whether the fee is starting to get a little high - friends have told me that it used ot be much lower. That said, the service was very good, and there were no problems.

Quick and efficient

Everything went smoothly. We got the good quotes on the first day, amongst them was the perfect one.
It was really a great help.

Im so pleased I found Shiply, I had struggled to find transporters to take my tractor and equipment from the UK to France but had several very competitive quotes within the first day of registering with Shiply.
The transporter I used did a fantastic job for a great price.

Not the best!

Got a quote and accepted. Courier could not do job so I asked shiply for refund to my bank.............NO CHANCE!!! Had dispute via Paypal which was no use! They ignored all my contacts. Eventually got a credit note only, to be used in 6 month. They charge higher fees than others, but accept no responsability after they get your money

Muy buena opcion

Sitio altamente recomendable, tiene un sistema de confianza similar a Ebay, con muchos profesionales dispuestos a llevar tu envío de la misma forma que las empresas de reparto convencionales pero a un precio mucho más barato.Todo un acierto.

fantastic service

I was totally happy with every aspect of the transaction. Posting details of the job was quite straightforward. I received several very competitive quotes and was able to communicate easily with each carrier and see feedback profiles from previous users. The boxes were collected within a couple of days, communication and speed of getting the stuff to Madrid was first class. Would recommend Shiply to anyone.

The eBay of shipping

This site made my life so easy! Instead of ringing around, bouncing quotes off everyone and doing all the legwork I just put up a shipping request, and the shippers who are doing the trip bid. I needed a motorbike taken from the top of Ireland to the bottom, I got an awesome price and the shipper transported my bike in a special bike transporter harness. This site makes shipping things so easy.

Easy , fast and reliable

I was recommended Shiply by a friend and have now used it 4 or 5 times. Nearly each times I a had quotes which I was happy with. Every time I dealt with great transporters and their service was flawless from the pick up to the delivery. I now recommand Shiply on my Ebay listings .

I know Shiply charge for this service but I like that you can look at the feedback people have left and that you are not just searching through unknown names. I would definitely recommend using this service.

Great company - amazing results!

When you don't know where to begin, this is the way forward. Put in what, where etc. and all the bids come in. Just choose the best offers. What I also found helpful was that I could look at other people's feedback before deciding. This helps to find the offer that you think us best for you and the most reliable. If in doubt, just try it. There is no obligation either once the bids for your job comes in. Happy shifting !

Great idea that works

I came across Shiply by accident, but worked really well. I would use again while checking other means of couriering.

Shiply als Vermittler ist nur zu empfehlen. Bisher waren alle Aufträge, die ich erteilte von zuverlässigen Spediteuren ausgeführt worden.
Die Einstellung der Aufträge ist navigiert und so schnell und komplett erledigt.
Die Angebote der Spediteure erfolgen dadurch sehr schnell und man kann in Ruhe die Auswahl treffen. Nach Auftragserteilung erfolgt ein reibungsloser Ablauf bezüglich der Kontaktaufnahmen und Terminabsprachen.
Shiply ist eine gute Wahl!!

GOOD EFFICIENT USEFUL

Straight forward, good service. Better than others available. Lots of quotes which came quickly. Found decent couriers. Would recommend.

Very useful, but Shiply fees were more than expected.

I listed my item but didn't get any quotes and so I paid for a premium listing. Then, after receiving quotes I was a little surprised that I would have to make another payment to Shiply if I wanted to accept the quote and contact the Courier. Shiply should really make it clear what further fees will be asked for at the start of the process.

That said, I found a very helpful courier who delivered my bed for a fair price.

Excellent for Services outside that of a Standard Parcel Carrier

I used Shiply to get some artwork out to an exhibition I had in Portugal. Couldn't have worked it any other way, and the carrier I got was really excellent. I had a problem with the first one who accepted my quote, and Shiply sorted that out too and moved the deposit/fee to the new carrier, who as I say, did a great job.

Many good and honest carriers

There are many good, honest, reliable and inexpensive carriers on Shiply. Shiply itself however is just horrible. Dishonest, greedy, unreliable, greedy, untransparent, greedy, unhelpful, greedy, unfriendly etc. Try exchanging contact details with the carriers on there using the messages, much cheaper, more friendly and easier.

Good but deposit is not explained very well basically paying Shiply 25% For contact details!!!!

Bit disappointed that the deposit was not explained very well, The Shipper I used was sooooo helpful and nice, help with the load ect I was disgusted to hear that you keep the deposit which is nearly 25% of the shipping cost. You do no provided any safety for an order, give money back if the order doesn't happen , shipper cancels ect so I do not think you provided an good enough service worth 25% of the total cost.

Wont be using you again and will recommend anyone I know looking for things to be shipped back to go through the person I got as I have his contact details which in hine sight what I payed your 25% of the cost for!!!!

Would Highly recommend anyone looking for any shipments in the UK/IRELAND to use Trevor - s.hennesey@sky.com amazing service and prices and he his a really nice guy too.

Really useful service

Great idea, although obviously they are only as good as the couriers you use (which is where the feedback facility is invaluable) - I was lucky and used the excellent Matts Couriers. Shipleys fees are a little on the high side if they are paid by the courier as well as the customer, which I suspect is the case.

With buying valuables and fragile goods arround the UK i have been disappointed with the service and breakages of the major parcel delivery services. Shiply is brilliant of getting providers to deliver my goods personally no breakages and great communication on delivery time (no codes you speak directly to the driver)

Very impressed with this company. When things went wrong with my first courier (which turned out to be no fault of theirs), the customer service was amazing and they enabled me to find another courier who was able to complete the transportation for me. The communication to and from Shiply is first class, as it was by my chosen courier.

I have had my first dealings with Shiply's and what a remarkable, simple and excellent communication this company offers you.
As having something collected and delivered to your doorstep all through a website and communication from your driver, I could not fault any thing.
I was informed and my product arrived in excellent care.

Appalling levels of customer service and arrogance

Very disappointed with this company. Upon reporting a problem with the courier ( basically an inability to return calls and not turning up when promised) Shiply had absolutely zero interest in following up my complaint/concern and just wanted to re book me with another courier

Having then agreed to cancel the transaction, they have offered me a credit on my next purchase...I explained that I will not be using them again so a credit is valueless!!

Their response has been a reference to some small print in their T&Cs that they do not make refunds ( obviously not "Company Policy"!)..So in essence, they have failed to honour their contract but will not give me my money back...total lack of ethics and customer care of the highest degree

If you encounter this problem with Shiply, please do report them like I will be doing to your local trading standards officer. If you have paid via Paypal you can lodge an official dispute after 10 days to recover your money.

These people obviously work on the basis that the amounts for a deposit are relatively small so people will not take legal action or pursue the case.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WOULD BE MY SINCERE ADVICE

Very pleased with Shipley

I have used the service on a couple of occasions and both times the Removal men have been very friendly and professorial , and very good value for money, Would recommend and will definitely use again.

Fast, convenient and cost effective national shipping/couriers.

Have used the site for a number of large purchases via ebay. I have found the drivers to be very communicative, friendly, helpful and most of all great value for money.

I would highly recommend the site. I have had large pieces of furniture shipped from Scotland to London for under £50.00 plus, such good value.

Good and useful project!

Shiply is a great idea and makes moving things around Europe possible to everyone! I had only one experience so far and the person I found was trustworthy and efficient.
Shiply customer support is also quite quick and responsive, I just think that the website should be updated a bit, some functionalities are not perfect and I would improve them further.
