passing the buck

Well, seven visits and my washing machine still doesn't work. After the engineer putting blame on the water supply then the pipes being being blocked i have since had a visit from thames water and a trusted plumber who have told me that neither of these is causing the problem.
I feel like they don't care and just want to pass the blame onto some else.
the machine up till now (8 years) has worked perfectly.
i do wonder how they will resolve this.......i wait their reply.
