I bought my dream bike and booked a bike fit to make sure it was perfect once it was assembled. I took a day off work for the bike fit, and arrived only to find that the bike wasn't ready. Three hour round trip and a precious day's leave for nothing! Re-booked the bike fit for a couple of weeks time as no appointments available later in the week. Received a phone call the next day to say my bike was ready for collection - talk about rubbing salt in the wound! The guy phoning me had no idea about the re-booked bike fit. e-mailed Sigma Sport to suggest they got their act together by communicating with one another (and calling customers if bikes aren't ready to avoid a wasted journey). They said they'd make sure my next appointment was more 'productive and enjoyable.'
Turned up for my re-scheduled bike fit appointment. Met with three desk staff who said 'Oh, it's been booked for a fitter who's on holiday' and then looked at each other until one of them - reluctantly - agreed to do the bike fit.
The fit itself was fine and very thorough once the guy helping me had decided to get on with the job. The bike is great. But I've spent £5700 on this bike - where's the service to go with that price tag?
