The whole experience was great with Sigma and I will definitely be using them again. The only improvement would be if the carrier (I believe UPS) delivered within the time window that I chose.
The shop looks great and you sell some really nice kit. I called a number of times first to explain the problem with my bike as I was coming from France and although the guys in the workshop seemed to listen, I did not get the personal service that I was anticipating. The same problem reoccurred during my first event post service and I have had to basically redo the job myself. So, I was £120 worse off and no further forward! I clean my bike after every ride so didnt really need the deep clean, just the indexing problem fixing. Everyone seemed friendly enough and knowledgeable but I would have preferred to speak to a mechanic rather than to a service receptionist when I collected my bike. I have since checked the mech hanger alignment and found it to be a little out and this has improved the situation - would have expected you to have checked this given my very detailed explanation of the issue? It seems as though you simply apply the standard menu of servicing to all problems and hope this solves any issues rather than take time to address the customers real needs - just like when I get the car serviced.
The selection of bikes and accessories are second to none. The staff are always so helpful and well informed. I spent nearly £3,000 on a new S works frame, handlebars etc and paid for Sigma Sport to build the bike using the groupset and wheels from my old bike. The service was great until I got the bike home. The matt black paintwork was covered in grease marks, presumeably from the build. The first time I took the bike out for a ride, I nearly fell off on the first hill due to the gears jumping all over the place. When I took the bike back, the service department rectified the problem straight away, but the service was more hostile than friendly. They even removed a link from the chain, surely this was something that should have been caried out in the first place. A week later I was back in the shop as the saddle was beginning to split. Sigma agreed to change it without any issue. However, I raised again the issue of the marks on the paintwork. At no stage did they apologies or offer to clean it themselves (the marks are difficult to remove on such a delicate finish). I thought this was extremely poor, especially in view of the amount I had spent. I think Sigma is still a great shop, but my aftersales experience has certainly given me a tainted view.
I bought a pair of Assos bib shorts online on the May Bank Holiday Monday as they were running a promotion and their price was the best I found at that time.
I placed the order at about 3pm and they arrived on the following Wednesday morning. Fastest delivery I have had from an online company without having to pay extra for delivery.
Bailed me out with new chain and cassette while I waited on a busy bank holiday weekend after bring stranded near Dorking!

I ordered three tubes of Nectar hydration tablets because it was advertised at a good price & because I wanted the order to be over the threshold to get free shipping.
After a short break I received an e-mail to say they were waiting for more stock to come in.
After another short break, another e-mail arrived to say they only had two in stock & wouldn't be getting any more & did I want just the two. I immediately e-mailed back saying send me the two & substitute the 3rd with something similar, so I could get the free shipping.
They sent me the two, charged me postage & made a small refund for the difference, thereby bringing the average price for the two tubes to no less than I'd have paid in a regular shop, and more than I could have paid another online retailer.
A small annoyance, and not expensive, but they asked me to file a review, so I have.
I had an order placed and confirmed on the 26th of April.
All of the items were listed as in stock. I then received an email on the 30th to say that one of the items was now not in stock? I confirmed that I did not want to wait for the item and requested that the other items be sent to me ASAP. I then got an email on the 3rd of May to say that the items had been dispatched. I then got another email on the 7th of May to say that the items had been dispatched? I received my goods on the 10th of May. 11 working week days after ordering the goods. In this day and age with the competitive market place; accurate online stock levels and speed to deliver is crucial to repeat customer business. In this instance I was not satisfied with the service and can only use the item not stocked as an example of how to do business online. From date of online purchase to delivery was 2 days with constant updates from the alternative supplier.
I do hope that you use this feedback constructively to ensure that future customers do not get the level of service that I did.
Took 9 working days to arrive, and when it did was missing an item from the delivery. I emailed on the day i recived the delivery, still waiting a few days later for the missing item. Hopefully it will turn up at some point...
I would probably not order from them again online.
Despite only living 7 miles from the shop I've ordered a couple for items online from Sigma Sport for postal delivery recently. Delivery has been as prompt and efficient as it is when dealing with the guys in the shop.
I was looking for some base layer summer tops, and received a special offer e-mail from Sigma. Looking on the web site I saw exactly what I wanted both style and price wise. I placed my order on line and within two days my tops had arrived.
Simple, easy and quick; what more could you ask for.
I a a ordered a sigma sport team replica bin short with a progato x2 seat pad but got a kiss 3 seat pad instead. I sent them back and complained to only receive the same shorts again, but now it is changed on the to say kiss 3 pad. This I have waited over a month and had to pay the postage with no satisfactory outcome to the issue. Not happy, will not be shopping there in future.
Everything was as expected - great price, clear communications about my order and delivery to schedule. Definitely a first choice for future cycling needs.
I am very specific (fussy bastard) with my bike builds and wanted a lot of limited parts. The guys worked hard to source and build the bike precisely as I wanted it. They did a great job and I love the bike. Outstanding!
Rowan and the mechanics put together the spec for my power meter quickly and communications concerning delivery and then installation were very good. Pleasure to do business with these guys.
The product knowledge of the sales staff is excellent especially given the range of bikes and brands on offer. My purchasing experience was fantastic. Sigma are a pleasure to deal with.
I was advised by a friend to shop with Sigma Sports for a new bike. The staff had really good product knowledge and helped me choose the right bike at the right price. Sadly my bike was stolen and they helped get me a replacement quite quickly. A great shop with great people - I would definitely recommend it to others.

It's a pleasure to shop or browse at Sigma Sport. The range is exemplary and the service is friendly and knowledgable. The staff are clearly passionate about bikes and that is evident in every conversation.
