Was searching for an ASUS laptop to buy and came across SimplyASUS. The price they offered for the product (ASUS K55VD-SX494H) was unbelievable considering the configuration which I could not get elsewhere.
I was a bit apprehensive as this was the first time I have heard about them. After looking up thousand of positive reviews about them, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. to say that I'm blown away with their delivery and overall customer service is an understatement.
The ordering process was very user-friendly and effortless. My order was dispatched after about 20 mins and was kept regularly updated via email and sms as to the status of my order. To my surprise, the order arrived first thing in the morning the next day.
Well done for the amazing service guys and keep it up. Be assured that you have won a customer for life.
My ASUS N56VM-S4034V was delivered very quicky even though I didn't pay for express delivery and seems to work very well. It connected to my network with no problems both with Wi-Fi and wired ethernet. The screen is fantastic and Adobe Lightroom 64-bit works brilliantly. I will be doing video editing but have been too busy to do that yet, so I can't say how fast it is rendering HD video. I was disappointed that the keyboard isn't illuminated since i like to work in a dimly-lit room and I don't find the touchpad easy to use (it's the first time I've had one for a long time). I might use a mouse for photo/video work where precision is needed. There are lots of ports (including a VGA and HDMI outputs, so it is very adaptable. The sound is good and will be fine for most vieo work and has S/Pdif output so you can connect to a HIFI system. Overall, I would recommend this firm and this machine. It was an absolute bargain.
Firstly, to say the service - both Simply Asus and their courier has been excellent. The emails letting you know when delivery is planned are accurate and speaking to the helpline saw my laptop returned to them the next day with no issues.
I went ahead and bought a second machine as a early Christmas present for my sister and, again the laptop arrived within a day which I thought very good considering I'd chosen the free delivery option.
Now to the problem.
The first machine I bought was an Open Box offer (one of the 2% of machines that get returned within 14 days as buyer decides they don't want the item) but I was concerned to find it came to me with a non-legal version of Windows 7 installed.
Tech support confirmed this after I emailed them some screenshots but could provide no explanation as to how this could have happened. Very worrying.
I cant see any advantage in the original purchaser of my machine doing this as they don't ship with the OS software supplied on disk to nick. So, how this happened is anyone's guess.
I have awarded 4 stars as, so far my experience has been OK. I will update when everything is sorted out.
Item arrived promptly and the service was generally swift. However, the laptop's touch-pad was not properly fixed and made an unpleasant noise when used. Furthermore, it quickly became unresponsive, after barely an hour of use, with the right-click feature completely unusable, so I had to send the product back. Item was collected when agreed, so I cannot fault the collection service; however, such an obvious quality issue could have been detected before the item was sold. If the problem is fixed and no other issues arise, I'll be happy to give 3 or 4 stars, but so far I am disappointed, as I have to wait a further 10 days for an item I need with a certain urgency.
After researching a new laptop, I decided to order an ASUS N-series laptop. When the product arrived, I was very disappointed to find it lacked the backlit keyboard advertised on the official ASUS website; one of the features that had convinced me to buy ASUS over their competators. Since contacting Simply Asus i have been told that the laptop was not advertised as such on their website, but when it appears a backlight comes as standard from ASUS, I don't expect customers to have to ask which features are missing.
I'm very disappointed to find such a simple addition has been removed from this model with no notification, the keyboard shortcut even informs me the backlight is changing so it must come as standard, but one simply hasn't been installed - whether this is cutting corners on design or simply a cheaper model, some indication should have been given that features had been removed - a case of false advertising it would seem.
Other than that, great laptop, and i cannot fault any other element of it's design or construction. However, when you spend the best part of £1000 on a laptop, you expect it to come as advertised.
After much research decided to order a laptop from Asus rather than Dell as was able to get a better spec for the same money and I have often used Asus components for PCs I've built in the past, and like their build quality. Found this supplier on the Asus website.
Ordered the laptop on the Friday with a standard 2 working day delivery. Had tried to order it the night before but the website would not accept my details. Tried again the next morning and made the order. Was updated about the status of the order by email regularly, with a follow up security call.
On delivery day the courier sent a text to say that the goods will be delivered within an hour time slot and true to word the driver arrived within the time slot. The goods arrived well packaged.
This is first time I've bought from this company but so far so good. Will definitely order from them again.
The only complaint is about the product Asus netbook 1001P, I wish they wouldn't split the harddrive in half - Does C: really need to be 60GB? Also there's no XP/Windows 7 Disk so if you format the harddrive how do you reinstall the OS? Lastly Uninstalling Trend Micro's Antivirus software causes an error to do with ACPI to show every 5 seconds.
Ordered laptop at 7:00 am, arrived next day in the afternoon, had not paid for next day delivery. Even had a glitch with my payment details, quick phone call to Customer Services sorted and lap top despatched.
Did what it says on the tin.

I ordered a Asus Eee PC 1018P netbook for £243.58 inc. p&p. I could not believe the price! It was much cheaper than anywhere else - even box.co.uk who own it! So I was suspicious. I ordered Monday night, standard delivery and got a phone call query about the delivery address the next morning. I received it on Wednesday - far quicker than promised. I was informed all the way - not just by SimplyAsus that it has been shipped but from the delivery company (dpd.co.uk) at 9:10am informing me it would be delivered between 14:45-15:45! I have never had that before! The Asus 1018P netbook was delivered exactly as ordered. Exemplary!
Ordered a laptop and external USB CD-ROM from the web store with express delivery option. The price was competitive and the product arrived 1-2 days later. But there were some glitches in the process which I do not expect from a modern Internet company.
1) A few hours after my order I received an e-mail that there was a problem with my order and I should call the support center. The money was already taken from my account. I called and waited in the queue for >10 min only to confirm my address (which is linked with my debit card anyway). This is not state-of-the-art service! If they need to confirm my address that is perfectly fine but then I expect being called (I supplied two tel. numbers with my order) not the other way around.
2) My products came with two separate couriers in two separate boxes. I was only given the tracking number of the CD-ROM. The Courier delivering the laptop sent it to my neighbor, which is not simplyasus' fault, but even when I called (queued another 10min) they could not supply me with a tracking number for the laptop. This is substandard. I expect being informed about the separate delivery and receiving the tracking number of all my parcels. BTW: the tracking image URL in the web-shop is broken!
Ordered my ASUS U33JC Bamboo series thursday night and the laptop arrived first thing monday morning. Superb service and delivery - I was also notified via email and sms of every stage of the order. On top of all this I'm absolutely delighted with my new laptop (considering how apprehensive i was being my first ASUS) - and look forward to testing it to its absolute fullest!

The laptop is excellent, the price was the best I could find anywhere, the delivery was superb - fast, and with a defined time slot that allowed me to manage my day effectively.. What more could you ask?
Sale team does reply to email queries within 24 hours, though it's hard to get them answer the phone. Saturday shipping was delivered at 8 am, a surprise to me. Products have outer box for better protection. Laptop's in perfect condition, tested everything and no problem at all.
After reading that Asus has one of the best ratings for laptops, I looked on the SimplyAsus site. I found an i5 bamboo Asus, with 4 ram, 500 gig hard drive. I love it, the service was excellent, I was kept informed at every stage. The laptop was well packaged. Do I sound happy ? I will use this company to buy my wife an Asus as well. Thrilled....

I asked for two day delivery and in fact it came the next day. The carrier was superb and told me the hour when it would be delivered - and it was.

Agree with all the positive feedback on here...it really is that good! Had a problem initially with card authorisation and got an email and text asking me to ring them which I did to confirm my address. As soon as I rang, the issue was fixed and the computer arrived the next day...even though I only paid for the cheapest option. Excellent.
Recieved a brand new asus g53jw and it has not stopped crashing since i recieved it. Returned it so they could test it, they sent it back and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I've now posted a video of it crashing onto youtube and showed it to them, and all of a sudden they have just stopped replying to my emails!
Avoid at all costs, they may deliver quick, but god help you if you get something faulty.
From placing order to receiving it, communication regarding the progress of order from process to delivery details was no less than excellent.
The product (Asus K52F Laptop) is super quality at a superb price, along with the accessories purchased, i.e., carrying case, mouse and Webroot Personal Security. A BIG THANK-YOU, you deserve to do well.
Great website - easy to purchase and easy to track the order right up until delivery which was less than 24hrs later.
First off, they were very helpful over the phone when I had some questions about the product. The price was really good - no other company came close. And the dispatch and delivery were fast, fast, fast. I ordered on Monday and received it on Tuesday - and that was using just the standard delivery option.
If I wanted to be really picky, I'd complain about the fact that the free anti-virus software came on a CD-ROM (which can't be uploaded on a netbook) and it took me a few minutes to work out how to download from the company's website. However, everything else worked so well that 5* seems about right.
I placed an order for a netbook & accessories with them on Friday 18th for delivery to me in Guernsey before Wednesday 23rd as I needed the item to take with me on a flight. I checked with them on the Friday that the goods would be dispatched on Friday and was told they should be. On Sunday, having had no shipping advice, I emailed them for a tracking number. On Monday 21st I was told that the goods had yet to arrive in their warehouse, and that they had 4 days according to their policy to get them to me. I asked them why they had told me the order should have shipped Friday if they did not have it, and asked them to confirm that they now did have it, and it would be shipped today, Monday via a Next Day Parcel service as promised. They failed to confim that the item was in stock yet, and then told me they did not offer a Next Day service to Guernsey anyway. I asked them why they had taken my order for goods not in stock, charged my card before having the goods, and offering a Next Day service which does not exist. I reveived no response to any of these questions, so cancelled the order. Frankly, I have now lost faith in this Company's promises, and will buy my harware elsewhere in future. My advice to anyone thinking of buying from them is: Don't.
