Ordering and making the arrangements was really easy and the staff were helpful. We agreed the delivery dates and they telephoned just before to confirm that everything was still ok. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. Simply Paving and the delivery company don't communicate properly. The delivery didnt arrive and was rearrange for the next day and then didnt arrive when they said. The builder had to wait around all down as the delivery was delayed and delayed. Again the staff at Simply Paving were really nice but were misled by the delivery company.
As for the slabs - really excellent!
I was looking for paving to lay a patio, having found the Bradstone range i went to our local builders merchants for a quotation, i then found Simply Paving on line and rang them for a quote.The price was well under my local supplier and delivery was very prompt (within a week) where as locally they could not give a defined date.Consequently i decided to order from Simlpy Paving and was not disappointed, goods arrived on date specified, well packed.
Based on my first transaction i would certainly recommend this company.
After comparing prices with other companies I decided to go with Simply Paving. The customer service is excellent. Delivery was good too; plenty of communication before deliver on exact delivery time, date, etc. Very happy with order, will use this company again.
I needed to order block paving at short notice as having planned the work on my drive we had changed our mind from gravel to paving. I contacted Simply Paving via by phone on Saturday, and received a call back very quickly from a very helpful lady who assisted me in making decision on the product and advised on best way to place the order to ensure fast delivery. I called the office on Monday and placed the order, I received a call confirming when material would be delivered, the paving was delivered the next day on pallets in good condition. A very good shopping experience, easy & hassle free - which was most important to me as I was at work so didn't want to have to make calls etc. Very polite and professional customer service. I will definitely recommend Simply Paving to my friends and would use them in the future. Thank you - my drive looks great !
As a Landscape Gardener I look at many companies for my supplies and for many years I have found that Simply Paving are reliable and give excellent value for money. On the odd occasion there has been a problem they have quickly and efficiently dealt with it and I would not hesitate in recommending them.
Our delivery was supposed to be between 8 am and 1 pm. It arrived at 3.10 pm which caused great difficulties. Despite informing Simply Paving that a curb delivery was not possible a 7.5 tonne van arrived and it was clear that this vehicle could not reverse up our drive and we were unable to push the 1 tonne crates up the drive. 3 of the crates are now standing at the bottom of our drive and not only vulnerable to theft but the current heavy winds. We subsequently telephoned your company on 2 occasions and received contradictory and unhelpful advice from your telephone operator which did your company little justice.
This is an unsatisfactory delivery and if anything happens (theft or injury) we will be seeking reimbursement from your company.

It was easy to find what I wanted at a price we could afford. The customer service adviser was knowledgeable, and able to give advice, without making me feel like an idiot!
I was kept up to date with my order, through both emails and phone calls, which I found reassuring.
The tiles were delivered in perfect condition, and when they said they would be.....they even gave us a courtesy call to let us know an estimated time on the day itself.
Very good service, fast delivery, the only downside is that the delivery has to be delivered on to a flat hard standing surface as it's delivered on a tail lift lorry. But as it was free you can't really grumble. Good product easy to use, no breakages, overall very pleased.

I was looking for some paving to match what I had already got in the garden. I came across Simply Paving through a web search. I was a little skeptical about their delivery claims as they were not close to my location. But they did meet them.
The driver arrived at 7pm in the dark with little in the way of any lighting. Where I live it there is no street lighting. I have a building works going on at the moment and it is potentially dangerous with obstacles around. The material (three heavy palettes) were loaded off the back of the delivery vehicle with a hand operated forklift device. Not powered at all. I had to assist the driver to get them from the road over a very small kerb step of 1 inch and a very shallow slope onto my drive (a modest rise of 8 inches over 4 feet). Between us we barely managed it. I fell over in the process.
Now to be fair this is not entirely Simply Paving's fault, however I wonder how many times the delivery truck driver has to struggle to move very heavy palette loads on his own without a power assisted hand operated forklift. If I had not been there to help, it would not have been possible.
So if you are going to place an order do give some consideration about access to your property and how far the load needs to travel (up hill is more important than distance!). If you do not have a solid driveway or wide (Palette width) access then you may run into problems and will have to unload the palette yourself.
I would have given 4 stars to Simply Paving had I not had issues with the delivery side.
One other thing, it appears that you get subscribed to a Simply Paving Newsletter automatically with one coming out every day! Not a great idea. I have unsubscribed on the third one. Much better to nag me once a month, not every day. Newsletters are often abused in this way. If you think about the frequency most people make purchases it is not quite the same as shopping at Tesco's. Once a month and I might have read them.

Feedback is a gift, you can either accept it or reject it. I was not looking for a bunch of excuses and caveats. I am on the whole happy with my decision to place an order with you. The key point is that without my help the delivery would have been left on an unlit road at 7pm at night. I have not reread your Ts and Cs, however I doubt very much that it would have been legal to leave it there in the dark. The driver was unable to get it over the 1 inch lowered kerb common to most driveways. All driveways rise to the path height without exception, mine is no different. I have had deliveries for 6 weeks now of all sorts of building materials. Nobody else has had a problem. BTW there was no building work at the front of the house. My point was delivering in the dark could be hazardous without additional lighting. If you are going to use a faciity such as Trust Pilot to receive feedback it might be smarter to say sorry and note what has happened and review your internal policies, you may not choose to change them which is fine. But at least you would have reviewed them. If you have to explain how something works in your organisation on this website, then that should ring warning bells for your management team.
From ordering to delivery everything was smooth. Got a courtesy call prior to delivery just to check everything was in order. On the day of the delivery, I did get a call from the delivery guy, stating that he had a problem with the pallet on his truck and could not access it with his pallet trolley. He needed to hand offload the pavers, and he asked where I would like them stacked. He did a fantastic job, making it very easy for me to transfer these to my work area. This was very much appreciated.
Simply Paving are one of the best internet companies I've bought stuff from. The ladies at the end of the telephone were friendly, helpful and efficient. I was able to choose a delivery day and the paving slabs turned up on the day and all present and correct.
The only slight flaw was that the message about the best way to approach my cottage didn't get passed on to the delivery driver and he ended up stuck in a very narrow lane. However, he was very good natured about the whole thing when he did arrive after managing to turn round.
All in all, a good experience from my point of view.
Paving slabs lovely and good quality. Date of delivery the slabs weren't delivered and nobody called me to say they weren't coming, and I'd paid an extra £10 for morning slot. Delivery rescheduled for 3 days later. Called at 8.15am for ETA as was told would be first customer on list, only to be told driver hadn't turned up for work they were trying to arrange an agency driver! Finally arrived at 3.30pm. Not a company I would ever use again or recommend.
The details and timing of delivery were excellent, however on arrival, the driver (who was very helpful) attempted to unload the pallets of blocks with help from my husband.. This was made extremely difficult & took over half an hour for the 3 pallets, the paving blocks were not positioned in the centre of the pallets and kept tipping over the pump-truck.
If proper care had been taken on loading the blocks onto the pallets, you would have got 5 stars.
Usual poor delivery storey, stayed in all day at 5pm had to ring up to check where it was, lady said she'd check and ring me back...she didnt. no reply and had to ring again the next day to check, was told delivery company had rang me (they hadnt). These are very small problems that have a big impact on the overall impression of a company and have very easy solutions. I work in delivery logistics ..all it would take is a text from driver at say 12 pm saying "sorry your delivery will be am tomorrow" then ...I haven't wasted all day..I dont have to ring and check...the company doesn't have to chase the driver...or not call me back... one txt everyones happy.. then you get a 5 star review. Blocks are nice by the way.
Ordered online and found the site very easy to use. The delivery was exactly as the company had stated, even received a phone call and email from the company giving an exact delivery day. The courier even telephone 45 minutes before delivery to ensure I was expecting it. All in all an excellent service and would recommend the company.
The Simply Paving personnel were excellent from ordering to arranging delivery. However the delivery driver was described by my daughter as the worst she has ever encountered. I said there would be people to accept the delivery but not help unload, one daughter is a nursing mother and the other 8 months pregnant. The driver refused to unload without help, fortunately my nephew was visitng at the time and he helped but had to force the driver to stack the pallets sensibly so that we could still enter the house parking area in our cars.
Ordered 6 pallets of bradstone bricks, with the 10% November discount the prices were very good. Delivery was quick and easy, only small thing was they said they would ring an hour before the delivery but didn't. Luckily someone was home to sign for them. all in all very good and very satisfied.
Price competitive and all paving stones in stock, spoke to a very helpful member of the sales staff, gave her the order, everything confirmed by e-mail. Delivery arranged within 4 working days, site delivery conditions confirmed.
Spoke to them on day of delivery re. arrival time and within minutes the driver rang me to say he would arrive in 20 minutes - he was also very helpful offloading.
Overall a first class service.
Out of stock when I first contacted Simply Paving, but kept trying. Eventually ordered two crates which were delivered without any problems. Will use Simply Paving again, price and service very good.
I ORDERED 3 PALLETS OF 36 PAVING SLABS ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND ON WEDNESDAY 2 WERE DELIVERED. SIMPLY PAVING PHONED TO ADVISE THAT THE 3RD HAD BEEN DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. HOWEVER A 3RD PALLET OF 36 WAS DELIVERED ON FRIDAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF THE PACKS OF 18 SLABS WAS DAMAGED. I EMAILED PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE AND A REPLACEMENT PACK WAS DELIVERED ON TUESDAY IN PERFECT CONDITION.
ALTHOUGH MY ORDER SUFFERED SOME PROBLEMS, OVERALL I WAS PLEASED WITH THE SPEED OF RESOLUTION, WITH NO ARGUMENT.
I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND THEIR PRICES.
