I was very pleased about the service provided it was very easy to access what I wanted and I had the right information at hand I have no issues with this site and would use it again and recommend it to friends
I booked a hotel and then did a review, the review should have been about their affiliated company, and to prove that it did indeed have skiddle on the email, I had to do a snapshot of the original email and I could not do it!!! even thou I got very upset the guys at skiddle continued to help and encourage me..praising me when I eventually did it about 5-7 tries..so here in return is praise for them. I still did not go to the hotel that I thought I had booked with skiddle, but still went to the show as the show must go on as they say.
The site is so easy to navigate, especially important as I am a total technophobe and get lost in websites! Find your ticket, enter details (and you don't have to enter heaps!) and boom its done. None of these deciphering code words etc. Will be defo using Skiddle from now on, much faster and easier than Ticketmaster!
It's really easy to use the skiddle website to sell tickets on and the extra features they offer such as features for events makes it my preferred option for ticket sales. The extra support they have offered me is also second to none

I bought these tickets for my daughter before they sold out. It was the most easiest transaction and purchase I have made for a long time. No hassles, no long winded questions. As soon as I had paid the tickets were ready to download, can't ask better than that really.
Please make buying tickets as simple as buying a tax disc, the best and simplist process on line. With yours i was unsure where i was going or if i had the button pressing correct. Simple, simple, simple please.
I'm not even sure about post Email or Facebook just make it send or something a old bugger like me understands.
I have used skiddle a few times before and I have never been disappointed. Each time I have located the event I have wanted easily and payment has been fast and efficient.
The latest event I went to I was able to save the tickets to my phone (because my printer ran out of ink) and they scanned my phone at the event which was very handy.
I will always use skiddle to buy tickets for upcoming events and helping an independent business is an added plus point
I couldn't fault the service. Not only did they have the most competitive priced tickets for Rockness, the information they had on their festival page was second to none.
I was apprehensive about getting the tickets in time as I was travelling a LONG way all the way to Scotland, but they arrived in plenty of time.
Will be definitely using them again.
My wife had a bad experience booking the Ibis Manchester Hotel - she booked back in February. The email confirmation said nothing about there being no cancellation available - in fact it gave contact details for cancellation, but it did say that it was paid up front - not something she was contesting.
When she rang up to cancel today, the automated 'service' said she would get nothing back. When she rang 'customer support' they said it was on the information when she booked. But not before putting her on hold for ages before getting back and telling her, no - you can't have a refund. On a premium number, of course. I checked today by going through the booking center for a date several months in advance - there's nothing to say this when you go through the booking process on the web site. The T&Cs just say that the cancellation policy can be different for each company you book with.
The person on the end of the phone sounded Dutch. I really don't want to believe that all Dutch businesses are out to scam, so please don't add fuel to flames.
Regularly buy my festival tickets from Skiddle.com and its always a quick and stress free transaction. Also used them for restaurant bookings, and they always give honest reviews of all the events and products that are listed.

A guy called [Name] gig cancelled, 7 days to refund the ticket price minus the booking fee. Bad customer service, won't be using Skiddle again. < Have posted these details on twitter and facebook to help promote Skiddle in the negative light it deserves.
Edit after reading the reply below: Sorry but that just is not good enough, the customer service representative I spoke to was pushy. You were able to state that the gig had been cancelled so why would you have to wait for confirmation when your already stating that fact? Your promised window is pretty poor, hence the bad review, that you reported in an attempt to block here on trust pilot. I suggest you review your customer service procedures.
This is a great site with information of events in your area. Events can be posted for free, and there are other advantages (like being able to sell tickets through the site). If there are any glitches, they are quickly and efficiently resolved, with really great and friendly customer service.
I booked through skiddle a night in a hotel in March 2012. The price was very reasonable but I was not made aware that 1) the payment would be charged to my credit card straight away 2) I could not revise or cancel my booking without losing the cost of the room (145 pounds). I cancelled the reservation as I have a work conference I now need to attend and I have sent several hours talking to skiddle and they are totally unsympathetic to my complaint and have not shown any evidence that this was visible to me when I booked the room. Customer service is not good and I think its outrageous that they have a cancellation policy that was not visible. On the phone they told me that it states on the web site that you can not cancel or change the room booking without being charged the cost of the room. IT DOES NOT SAY THIS I HAVE JUST CHECKED YET AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME....... If I had been aware of this I would have not cancelled the room, I would have given the booking which is for a hotel spa to a friend. I am very upset as I have lost 145 pounds, spent hours trying to resolve this and I don't think this is fair or reasonable.
Beware when booking a room through skiddle. You can't change or cancel the booking although this is not stated on the site or in your confirmation email. I don't think this is legal though as you can put in place a policy that isn't signed up to by both parties.

For the past two years I have used Skiddle to buy tickets for Sankeys, The Warehouse Project, Creamfields and more.
Sometimes the tickets come by email, sometimes in the post. Once they went missing. EVERY time I use this company the communication is excellent, the staff are helpful and I get what I need when I need it. It's nice not to have to talk too a company, but when you do they listen, and they resolve.
I really cannot fault this company.
