Regularly buy my festival tickets from Skiddle.com and its always a quick and stress free transaction. Also used them for restaurant bookings, and they always give honest reviews of all the events and products that are listed.
A guy called [Name] gig cancelled, 7 days to refund the ticket price minus the booking fee. Bad customer service, won't be using Skiddle again. < Have posted these details on twitter and facebook to help promote Skiddle in the negative light it deserves.
Edit after reading the reply below: Sorry but that just is not good enough, the customer service representative I spoke to was pushy. You were able to state that the gig had been cancelled so why would you have to wait for confirmation when your already stating that fact? Your promised window is pretty poor, hence the bad review, that you reported in an attempt to block here on trust pilot. I suggest you review your customer service procedures.
This is a great site with information of events in your area. Events can be posted for free, and there are other advantages (like being able to sell tickets through the site). If there are any glitches, they are quickly and efficiently resolved, with really great and friendly customer service.
I booked through skiddle a night in a hotel in March 2012. The price was very reasonable but I was not made aware that 1) the payment would be charged to my credit card straight away 2) I could not revise or cancel my booking without losing the cost of the room (145 pounds). I cancelled the reservation as I have a work conference I now need to attend and I have sent several hours talking to skiddle and they are totally unsympathetic to my complaint and have not shown any evidence that this was visible to me when I booked the room. Customer service is not good and I think its outrageous that they have a cancellation policy that was not visible. On the phone they told me that it states on the web site that you can not cancel or change the room booking without being charged the cost of the room. IT DOES NOT SAY THIS I HAVE JUST CHECKED YET AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME....... If I had been aware of this I would have not cancelled the room, I would have given the booking which is for a hotel spa to a friend. I am very upset as I have lost 145 pounds, spent hours trying to resolve this and I don't think this is fair or reasonable.
Beware when booking a room through skiddle. You can't change or cancel the booking although this is not stated on the site or in your confirmation email. I don't think this is legal though as you can put in place a policy that isn't signed up to by both parties.

For the past two years I have used Skiddle to buy tickets for Sankeys, The Warehouse Project, Creamfields and more.
Sometimes the tickets come by email, sometimes in the post. Once they went missing. EVERY time I use this company the communication is excellent, the staff are helpful and I get what I need when I need it. It's nice not to have to talk too a company, but when you do they listen, and they resolve.
I really cannot fault this company.
I had ordered tickets on Skiddle, went to the venue and presented my card on which I'd bought the tickets. My name wasn't listed, they had no record of me and pretty much insinuated that I was lying. No suggestions were to given as to how to resolve the situation and they started calling the bouncers over! I was calm, rational and trying to find a solution - and was made to feel like a criminal. Luckily, I had my iPhone with me and was able to search for and locate my original email (to which the people on the door said 'How do we know it's your email?' - I found that offensive. Eventually, after showing the email, showing my card, showing that I was who I said was by presenting a business card too - I was let in with my friends.
I will never use Skiddle again, the whole thing was embarassing and it ruined my evening. The organisers of the event were unsympathetic and unhelpful, but the whole thing was caused by the system not showing my booking on their list on the door.
Rubbish all round.
oh what a night,,,,,, ramsbottom vevue]great to go back in time and listen to the animales[many times iv played house of the rising sun after 16 glasses of wine]and boy could i beat out that tune, rippin oilcloth didnt come close.thanks to skiddle the tickets were orderd and printed off within mins .im a 62 lady who still enjoys a good night out thanks to skiddle the tickets are just a click away ..xxx
I paid for tickets for Ramsbottom festival and unfortunately only skiddle seemed to be selling them. Not worth the booking fee!! Sent me lots of e-mails and none of the links worked including my ticket link and indeed the link to this page.!!!** Tried another computer in another network and that had the same fault so not a software fault. The apache thing kept coming up with resource not available for all links. Will not use them again and will be phoning/e-mailing them to give them a blast like only the legendary grumpy old man Andy Wilson can. Lukily I am computer savvy so I traced back purchase history for account and printed off tickets from there. It should not have been so hard so very unimpressed.
HOWEVER, very quick reply from [name removed] one of the directors of skiddle in response to my original review (1 star) above. It transpires that the fault is with the Talk Talk/Tiscali e-mail client. We have exchanged several e-mails and they are now putting a warning on for customers of the above e-mail clients and instructions as to how to proceed to download & print tickets when using these e-mail clients.
Sorry [name removed] and once again full marks on customer services (4 stars is usually as high as I go).
