I ordered a birthday present from sobaby.co.uk back in July and it still has not arrived. I've made loads of phone calls, but can't get through. Sent emails and did get a reply to one saying goods were delayed. After about 6 weeks I cancelled the order, but that was ignored. I've since written more emails which have been ignored. DON'T BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
Ordered a baby towel, was in stock and arrived in a week.
Price was best I found online and delivery was quick. Nice getting a text to say item was on its way but would have been better if they'd said who the text was from!
Seem to have some nice products here, I ordered Coocoose baby towel for a friend with new baby (apron style towel with poppers so towel doesn't hang on floor while giving bath) but also noticed some Boon weaning spoons which look great too and which I've not seen elsewhere.
Ordered an Oyster buggy and carrycot from SoBaby which had a 6 week lead time so expected a delay but it was all delivered within 2 weeks. This is the second time i have ordered from them and both times i have been pleased with service and goods. Will use again.
Ive read the reveiws after I ordered a musty £450 buggy. Wish read before, well didn't on this occasion, so not to worry. By consumer law I cancancel my order within 7days, I am 5days in and they havent replied o any of my emails, I cannot get them on the phone. Im sending a letter by recorded delivery tomorrow 23/07/10. To cover myself so they can't wriggle out of it, then I will be getting on to trading standards, and my credit card.

I ordered an orange petite star zia pushchair in August 2009. After 10 days I contacted them to check on the dispatch of my order and was informed that the orange was not in stock. I then cancelled the order and was told that my money would be refunded asap.
Well it is MAY 2010 and I am STILL WAITING!!!! After numerous phone calls and e-mails I took the matter up with my credit card company. I was told by them to write So Baby a letter requesting my refund as with most companies they experience that normally does the trick but once again So Baby in true style has chosen to IGNORE my written request!!
I am not sure what to do next but I am most definately a very unhappy online shopper!! AVOID THEM PLEASE
I ordered a buggy from so baby at the end of february, 7 days after placing order chased the delivery to be told it could take 30 days. This item was a in stock item and according to their delivery should only take 7 days. I cancelled the order on 5th March and requested a refund. It is now 22nd april and I am still chasing my refund. They have a lovely website with lovely things but the true reality is that this company is a bunch of fraudsters who will not send you your goods as stated in their delivery T&C's and then won't refund your money.
Ordered Hop Skip Deluxe changing bag, emailed SoBaby 3 days later to chase order email reply was my Item was n stock and would be sent asap, received bag seven days after placing order, very prompt service. I will be using their services again and will recommend them to others too
I would like to point out that the organic baby food company so-baby-co.uk has no connection whatsover with the SOBABY of Andover. They specialise in 100% organic baby meals and pride themselves on their customer service
After being told item was out of stock we chose to have a refund. The money was not returned and after many emails they contacted to say it was being processed. The refund has never arrived and all contact is being ignored. This is just plain and simple theft! There is a warning on mumsnet about this company. It also seems suspicious to me that this sate has so many bad reviews but there are a few random 5 star incredible experiences thrown in. Mmmmmmm? Are these great reviews a fraudulent response fron sobaby?
the money you save by using this company is not worth the long delivery times and the hassle of having to chase them for your order.
i ordered two items. rang when i didn't receive them in the stated time. received the 1st the following week and never got the second. after over 3 months of waiting i requested an alternitive item but only if they had it in stock to send out straight away, otherwise i wanted a refund. it took two weeks to reply to my email after the new year but they did send out the new item and i got it the next day.
I ordered a skip hop changing bag in November, the website indicated that it was in stock. A week later I received an email to say it would come in stock in early December. None of my emails have been responded to and you are unable to leave a voicemail. I have put the item into dispute with my credit card company. I bought another bag from someone else. Then 2 days ago I got an email to say it was being shipped! I responded to say that I did not want the bag, as I had clearly indicated in my previous (unanswered) emails. No answer, of course. They tried to deliver it today while I was out and I have asked the courier company to return it to them whilst I wait for my money back. Absolutely shocking service, the worst I have ever come across - they just ignore you.
following my review....How could they do this, avoid, avoid, aviod! I received my changing bag today, over a month since I ordered it! And no communication to let me know what was going on. So thankfully I haven't lost my money and have now received my item. However, I am very disappointed at the very least and would not recommend this company to anyone! Thank goodness I didn't go out there and buy another changing bag! I was so distraught at having lost £50 that I could'd bring myself to.
I ordered a Skip Hop change bag from them on 20th december and was told it was in stock and would be delivered in 7 - 10 days and surprise surprise they are yet to deliver my bag. Have contected them by phone only to be told by a machine that you could only contact them by e-mail. Have sent them 4 e-mails and they haven't responded to a single one. This company is nothing but a thief as they have taken my money and given me nothing in return. My loss of money is no where near some of the other reviwers but i still feel extremely angry and upset that a company like this is allowed to trade on the internet. I will never buy from anyone else other than amazon from now on. I have contacted trading standards and was advised to send a recorded delivery letter asking for a refund. By law if you haven't received anything by 30 days you are entitled to a full refund, but this sounds like it isn't happening. Will be contacting watchdog. Realy wish i had checked reviews before i bought from this company. I am not even giving the company one star but you have to, to be able to write a review. This company deserves a minus star rating and to be shut down immediately.
I ordered 3 months ago, i got a email 5weeks later to say new stock in soon and guess what i have received nothing, there is a answer phone message when i ring and they are not answering emails, how can a company take money in this way and benefit on babies and mums losses, Awful !! i am contacting watch dog and trading standards, also the main supplier of the product i ordered told me they do not supply sobaby any more as they do not pay their bills
An example of the worst type of business, the worst type of business owner, and simply a shabby, morally dubious (at best) operation run by uncaring, useless and probably dishonest individuals.
The only contact I've had from them is a confirmation of order on the day I ordered. I have e-mailed many times since, with no response whatsoever, and have repeatedly called, getting through to an answerphone that will not let you leave a message, but tells you to e-mail.
Pathetic. Avoid at all costs. Steer clear. If I could have given zero stars to this company, I would have.
I ordered a cotbed 30th November 2009 was told this item was stock. When i tried to telephone them a week later i was told to email which i did several times and to which i had no response. I then did receive an email in late December saying the item had been ordered with Izzywotnot and when they received a consignment no they would let me know. I tried again to email and call to no avail. I then telephoned Izzywotnot to see if an order had been placed by sobaby. They said they hadnt received any orders since October from them.
They are also using a sister company called Big Imagination.co.uk, same address, same telephone no as Sobaby! I telephoned Izzywotnot and asked them if they had ordered the cot under this name and they said they hadn't and they themselves were trying to contact Sobaby and would let me know.
I have been in touch with the consumer helpline, who were very helpful. Apparently you have rights under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations and are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of you cancelling your order. I am in the process of tring to get my money back.
I am also in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards.

Hi i to have ordered products via the website and also waited and recieved nothing theh found reams and reams of bad press for this company (hindsight is wonderful) i have sent emails which have had no replies and have phoned only to listen to an answer phone so in light of all this i have contacted my local trading standards and will contact watchdog via the bbc i would urge all of you to do the same as if there are enough complaints something will have to be done as one lady has said to be left in the lurch when your due date is imminent is just down right awful not to mention stressful the woman who owns the company is Angela Gordon she has a shop in andover for anyone close enough to visit. you can under the distance sellers regulation acts demand your money back if u have not recieved your order in 30 days worth mentioning to her in an email but the only way to stop ruthless people like this trading is to complain to the right channels u can find your local trading standards (sometimes called consumer dept) by contacting your local council and watchdog can be contacted via bbc website. another customer was told she could not have her order as the owner was on holiday for 2 weeks no doubt with our money good luck all
I can't believe that this company is allowed to trade it should be issued with a winding up order! Unfortunately I read the reviews after I had placed my order, I had hoped that maybe I might be one of the small amount of people that actually do recieve the item they paid for....clearly not so far!
I ordered a bloom highchair on the 8th December (plenty of time for an item that was stated as 'in stock' on the website to be delivered for Christmas). SoBaby state on their website that dispatch for in stock items is 7-10 days, so when on the 11th day the status of my order hadn't changed I tried to contact SoBaby. I have tried calling them but they are permanently on answerphone which advises you to email them, I am now on my 6th email and still have had no response from them and no highchair!
As a result of the highchair not being delivered my daughter was unable to spend her first Christmas dinner with us! This has to be one of the worst companies I have had the misfortune of buying from! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Also even giving a one star rating to SoBaby.co.uk is far too much in my opinion as if I could I would give a big fat 0!
I ordered a pushchair and adaptors from Sobaby. When they overran the due delivery date I tried to contact them. It is impossible to get through on the phone, it just goes to a recorded message, and they don't answer email. I eventually put in a claim with my credit card, and lo and behold about a week later the stuff appeared. I would recommend not buying from this company, and if you do phone them first. I doubt you will get through. They then had the cheek to send me an email saying if I left a good review for them on the link they provided, they would send me a £5 gift voucher, which would be useless to me, because I have absolutely no intention of buying from this company or their sister company bigimagination.co.uk. ever again.
I have had a very different experience than most people on here. I found the sobaby website and fell in love with some of the products on it. I ordered a few items on my first order ( a skip hop bag, swaddling blanket) and both of my items turned up within a week of ordering them.
Later on in my pregnancy I then found sobaby to be the best priced for the cotbed i wanted to order so i ordered that from them too. They called me within a week of the order and let me know that it was going to be delayed by a week or two as the supplier was out of stock which i did not mind.
I called them about a week later after reading some bad reviews and spoke to a lady who was very re-assuring and who gave me a delivery date of approx 10 days. She called me back about 3 days later to let me know it was back in stock earlier than expected and could be delivered next day!
With both orders i recieved my goods exactly as ordered and recieved emails both times with the courier tracking number. I would certainly have no issue using them again and intend to as they have some of the best prices out there, and a really good range of products.
I bought a douwalker pushchair, carrycots amongst other things totalling over £900 from sobaby - all of the items were delivered when they said they would be and they gace me a really good price too - the items were just what i wanted and they were very helpful when i had some questions on the products - would use again and recommend!
Ordered over the phone on the 18th July nearly £600 of goods and paid in full still waiting for the majority of the products and now not answering phone or emails. I'm heavily pregnant with no pram. I have a carrycot but no wheels to put it on.
Cheers So Baby!!!!! I have just paid another £450 to another company for another pram as I am in desparate need and cannot wait any longer as my due date is iminent!!! This is how lovely this company is when they leave heavily pregnant hormonal women with this mess to sort out when we are supposed to be getting ready for the delivery of our bundle of joy.

Ordered from this company i July they sent me an email on aug 1st to say item was being processed, im still waiting for it to be delivered have sent them several emails to which im still awaiting a reply, have also tried calling them but they never answer the phone, I have now reported them to paypal via the resolution centre so hopefully will get my money back.

I ordered 4 items. Received a call the following day that the colours / patterns I wanted were no longer available, so I agreed for the closest alternative. 3 items were supposed to be sent the same week, my skip hop bag within 2 weeks. 3 weeks later - nothing. I emailed them - nothing. Called 4 times and each time they promised to check the shipment and nobody ever got back to me! I cancelled my order today and they said they refunded my money - fingers crossed I get it in the next few days.

having ordered leander cot bed on 29.05.09 got concerned when account info on website continued to state 'processing'. Upon calling was informed that we had missed the order for that month and that there was a 3 week ordering cycle so not to worry. 3 weeks passed still no changes so upon calling was then told that they had to wait for enough orders to fill a pallett before they could get it shipped !!! but that I would NOT have to wait another 3 weeks . 28.07.09 upon checking website - still 'processing'so called again to be told that Leander had closed for a 3 week holiday in July without informing any of their stockists so they had been unable to contact them ???? but rest assured that the order would arrive by 14.08.09 . As I can no longer believe anything they say I cancelled and requested refund . Just have to see if money arrives back in account within the alloted 5 working days !!
I ordered an all grey skip hop changing bag on the 1st june and with no arrival on the 27th I called to be told that they had my details on their list to call because the bag had been discontinued in that colour (when they acctually would have called me is anyones guess) I was offered an alternative bag in the same colour which also was not in stock however they told me that the bag woud arrive the following week and assured that i would recieve it on the 1st July "as you have been waiting so long". When this day came and went I called again on the 3rd to be told that they were expecting delivery in fact on the following week (this week) and then the bag was described as grey and ice!?! Not infact the all grey i wanted. I queried this and setteled on the original bag in a stripped material instead, which I was told was in stock and would be dispatched the same day and i would recieve it yesterday............surprise, surprise NO BAG!! I have just called and asked for full refund which i have been assured (again) will be back in my account by the end of next week. I don't hold out much hope from some of the other reviews.

After 1 month I am still waiting for the second half of my order or a refund that was promised to me 2 weeks ago. They do not respond to my emails and there phoes are constantly engaged.
Do not order from this Company unless you want lots of hassle, goods not received and your money taken with no sign of a refund.
I ordered on 25 February. After a couple of weeks I tried to email and phone them to pursue delivery, but no answer. Received email on 27 March saying the item was out of stock and I would receive refund, but I have received NOTHING.

You will not receive your goods. Despite emails, phone calls, which never allows you to actually leave a message, I'm now filing a Paypal dispute and contacting Watchdog.
If I don't get a full refund I WILL be taking legal action, without a doubt.
I ordered a phil n teds puschair set but the puschair arrived without all of the accessories. I have emailed lots of times never getting a response and there is no facility to leave a message on their telephone number.
I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO WATCHDOG - IF EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS HAD BAD SERVICE WRITES IN WE MIGHT GET OUR PROBLEMS SORTED!

Sobaby accepted payment immediately but as yet I have not received my order after 2 weeks. I have been unable to contact via phone and despite receiving an automated e mail that said I would receive a reply within 48 hours have had no e mail response either. I have cancelled my order but again have had no reply. I am concerned the company has ceased trading and am angry they accepted payment.
I placed an order on 16 March for a car seat and toy. To date only the car seat has arrived. Despite sending chaser emails, I am no further forward and have no idea when or if I will ever receive the car toy. I have tried phoning the company but have not even been able to leave a message. Truly regret not having researched the company prior to placing my order. Is this company still in business????

Customer service is non existant.
My money was taken very promptly and I thought this was a genuine company. It just seems to be a front for stealing honest peoples hard earned money.
