I wanted some business cards printed and looking first at the website I found it very easy to navigate and find the information I wanted. I had plenty of questions, most of which were answered on the website but I also found the 'Chat Now' service excellent and invaluable. As a customer I was made to feel that my business was very important to them and the whole process was worry free from start to finish.The price was excellent too and very competitive and along with the first rate customer service i will definitely be reccommending Solopress to others.
Yet again solopress have done a great job of some posters for us for a medical conference. Only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is the unduly complicated system of separating an order of different paper sizes up which results in a somewhat confusing barrage of emails and invoice requests. Thankfully the lovely staff phoned to sort it out!
We use Solopress quite regularly and have never been disappointed. They have a top notch website and their service is second to none. They are especially helpful when you have a tight deadline which they've always delivered when promised. I would highly recommend using them.
I've only used this company once for some business cards and I found it hard to send over the artwork - in fact it took 3 days and quite a few e-mails to be sure they had got it. .As for the printing it was not exactly the colours that where in the j-peg and too dark to show the details in the card. I sent them the design on sunday and got the cards on the next saturday..

I was very impressed with the live site chat; great when ordering a bespoke product. A last minute job I was short for time but Solopress quoted, quickly confirmed my payment and my prints were there the next working day. I will definitely use them again.
I have used Solopress in the past and they are a very good company, who clearly want to deliver a fantastic product to the customer, which they do. My only slight hiccup this time around, placing a custom order, was that you get moved around too many members of the team. I think I had emails from 5 different people before my order had been placed, and at one point I had to re-list everything I wanted, even though it was in the previous quote.
This wasn't a big deal, but I just think custom orders could be streamlined a bit as I could imagine some people being put off.
Ultimately, like I say, the product and overall service was great and I am very happy with my order.
Although I got a little lost with who was mailing me about parts of the job (that did cause a glitch in the process) the team were fast to react and spotted the issue strait away and rectified it.
The product I ordered was perfect and looks superb so credit to the design team for the quick turn around.
Overall I'm very happy to have used Solopress. I'm also glad I didn't use a cheaper alternative too as the difference in quality is by far worth paying that little extra.
If you need to know that you've been given a competitive quote, assurance that the print work will arrive on time and to spec, and that the final leg of the printwork journey from design to client will result in client satifcation, then I'd go with Solopress every time. I've been extremely pleased with the high level of quality finish of the printed product and the level of support that I've received throughout the process.

needed a couple of urgent jobs printed and solopress made it happen. someone called me immediately to confirm the details of my order - even made my spot-uv printing happen in 48 hours rather than their quoted 72 hours (made me very happy!).
print quality is good, print stock is good, price is good.

Me: I would like 1000 rounded edge business cards.
Solo Press service adviser: OK, That's £138, just email me the artwork.
Me: Great. Send me the invoice and ill pay straight away too.
SQUARE CARDS ARRIVE 4 DAYS LATER WITH NO ROUNDED CORNERS
Back onto the phone.
Me: I paid for rounded edge business cards but received square ones?
Solo Press service adviser: No you didn't. Square business cards are £138. That's what you got.
Me: But I asked for rounded edge.
Solo Press service adviser: You got what you paid for.....
Me: But it's not what I asked for.
Solo Press service adviser: It is your job to do that. You got what you paid for.....
I have used Solo Press for business and personal jobs for years, even recommending them to friends. Perhaps that customer service person was having a bad day but there was no apology for the confusion they caused just silence that I filled by saying that I would not be using them again, they did not care about that.
Utterly frustrating and £138 (together with 1000 business cards) in the bin, just what small businesses need at the time!
Never make an order over the phone with Solo Press.
We received our clients 380gm flyers on pulp board next day as expected but were disappointed with the print quality and finish (finish has the appearance of silk board not pulp/uncoated). The appearance was nothing like the lovely lithographically printed samples Solopress had supplied us with and the print quality was very poor compared to previous items we had ordered. As I suspected after nearly 2 weeks of emails back and fourth (not getting anywhere) to customer support they confirmed that they had been printed digitally (Vistaprint standard) and not lithographically. I know most people wouldn't mind or even care how they are printed but for all you designers who like quality you've been warned and don't go by the quality of the supplied sample packs.
Solopress provide us with a fantastic quality printed item that our customers love and helps us to spread the word about our growing children's outdoor wear business. We have already become repeat customer and hope to keep coming back for more!
I ordered some leaflets on 130 gloss paper which were delivered promptly despite their upload system not working even though it had confirmed file transfer twice.
Unfortunately I thought the finish on the leaflets to be very dull and the paper far flimsier than I expected.
When they asked for feedback I highlighted this and was pleased to receive a very prompt call back asking me to send in a sample for them to look at.
Problem is though that I have heard nothing since despite having sent some leaflets back immediately.
Prices were very competitive, customer service was beyond excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.
I wanted a small quantity, decent quality brochure to send to prospective clients, but didn't want to spend a fortune. Solopress offer and indeed provide good customer service, quality better than you'd expect for the money and the 24 hour turnround is no lie. On my desk the very next day.

You advised me I would need a higher res for my prints which I sent on and the parcel was delivered just under 2 days later! It would have been delivered the next day if I had called earlier in the day,

The emails through the production process came from different people; it would have been good if the post-payment emails had acknowledged payment had been made instead of all carrying instructions to pay! confusing and made me think payment had not gone through properly.
Otherwise, absolutely excellent - did just what I asked.
We ordered some flyers at the very last minute for delivery in Leeds right in the middle of a really bad period of snow and ice. Service before printing was efficient and professional (very reassuring as we are based in Singapore) and the flyers arrived bang on time. We're coming back for more.
