Ordered Xen-Tan in January. Money taken from bank day after. Still not received Status of order changed from 'Unfulfilled' to 'Completed' then got an Email reply to apologise but still no goods. Is there any way to get money back? Shocked to see these postings but hope KARMA comes back to you.
this company should not be allowed any space on the internet. i ordered eyesential from them on november 16th, they took my payment but i have never recieved the product. after e mailing them many times, they responded saying it will be sent to me,but never has.ive asked for a refund,but have never had one.
the e mails ive had from them sound as if theyve been written by 12 year olds.
under instructions from trading standards i sent a special delivery request for refund, but no reply from them.
avoid this company, you wont get your goods,but will be charged.
Well its been 2 years and im still waiting for my goods or money. I have sent several e-mails each one promising me my goods then after that my money ALL LIES. Please dont purchase anything as you will not recieve your goods. 1 star is to much in my opinion they deserve 0 stars
Dont touch this company with a barge pole, ripping off scammers. They put pretend beauty products on their site as the cheapest than all other companies so you choose them. They then take your credit card details, the website looks all above board etc and you get acknowledgement emails to say order been received and then item on the way, however the product never turns up. The trading address is fake the telephone number is fake. stay well clear and sympathies to any one who as already been scammed by them!
My wife purchsed via credit card an item costing £105 --which like everyone on this site says --wasn't delivered.

I phoned up credit card dispute team who claimed thye have had so many complaints re this company--so why do they let the purchase go thorough instead of contacting us !!
We did receive the same e mail as everyone else from sospecial promising that although they were closing down they would send order or give refund --neither has happend

The sospecial web site stil exists and no doubt hey are stil taking orders--and ripping people off

I can not believe their website is still up and still accepting orders. Surely some one can have this taken down before more people fall for this SCAM
guys! they dont give my refund back and cant contact them as they put a wrong telephone number on their website. they keep sending me an auto email that they sadly closing their doors after 7 years. well i am sorry, but why my order went through than???? who can help to chase my money :(

So Special is a scam company which never sends out the goods. I spent £50 + and got nothing just an email to say the goods are coming and then another one later to say goods were just in even though I asked for a full refund. I reported them to the trading standards and I see they are still being allowed to pretend to sell goods online!! STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I checked their company profile and they have some outstanding debts which are being dealt with through the Courts.
I made an order with this company in September 2011 and this is now March 2012 and i still have not received my order. Promises that it would be sent, promises it would be refunded, then too late to get a refund from google checkout as too long ago and no refund from So Special as too long ago !! BEWARE !!!!

As others report Emails not answered, Telephone number (which was given me by my credit card company) 02921250226 gives you number unobtainable - continuous tone.
Now in the hands of my credit card company.
I will now make a point of using Trustpilot for any new online sellers in future.

Ordered in January 2011 and have been e-mailing backwards and forwards ever since. Each time goods are promised and each time do not arrive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They still have my money and will not return it!
Also been scammed by this company, made a fraud report with my credit card company and will get a refund, however i will not be leaving it there i have contacted trading standards and watch dog. can not believe the site is still operating. we need to join together and get this site closed
I too have had problems with this disgraceful company, but this might be of help to some of you.
If you paid for the goods using your credit card like me, you must do the following:- 1) Inform your Credit Card Company they may be able to offer you a Chargeback to your card and will send you the appropriate forms to fill in. 2) Inform Cardiff Bay Police of the situation (they are totally aware of this company - I found [name] most helpful, he may not be able to do anything now, but by reporting this to the police you will just add more weight to your claim.
3) Print off any e-mails that you may have made to the company, as again your Credit card company may ask for them to aide your claim.
I don't know if the banks have the same facility if you payed by debit card but i would expect so. I really hope some of you get your money back . Most importantly we will all be more careful who we order from in the future. Best of luck.
I ordered goods on 8th Dec 2011 for £60 and still have not received them nor am I likey to.
I have reprorted SoSpecial to www.actionfraud.org.uk/report_fraud, this is a website set up by the Police to report fraud, I would encourage everybody to do the same, that way perhaps this website will be closed down so no-one else can be conned.
After experiencing same problems as everyone else I have now forwarded so specials details to my banks fraud department.save your money and..............

I also ordered collagen tablets on 09/02/2012.from this company. Still have not received them or had my emails answered. I now realise after finding this website that I am not going to receive my order or any money back. So people please be aware of So Special. They are just a Rip Off

Ok, some updates as I was also duped by this person. Ordered some collagen tablets on 12th Feb and still nothing. Emailed so many times and not a single response. Have contacted bank and South Wales Police...will also be contacting national fraud squad and Trading Standards......however to my surprise, looking at my credit card statement and on the transaction for SoSpecial, there appears to be a mobile number....so I rang it. It rang for a while and went to voicemail, where a lady spoke and said "this is the voicemail for [name]...bingo! I've updated South Wales police with this info who will be looking into it now.
I ordered a YSL Radiant Touch which was over £21.00 on 7/01/2012. It did not arrive within 14 days so I contacted them on 21/1/2012 by using that email form on their website. They responded a week later saying that they were sorry and that my order had now been rectified. More than 1 month later it still has not arrived. I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. They are just scum bags and it is sickening to think that there are people like this out there who just take great delight in ripping people off. I am now worried that they have my bank account details.

I agree with everyone else, you need to keep a record of all contact with these people, submit a claim with your credit card company for refunds.
I really would like to know how this company can continue to operate when all the Credit card companies and Banks must know, with all the claims etc, that it is not honest. Why do they not step in and prevent the moneys from being taken in the first place. This must be highlighting somewhere on their system.
I too was scammed by this company (I use the word 'company' very loosely). On 8th December I placed an order to the tune of £45, Of course I still haven't received my order, nor am I ever likely to.

I have commented on this company before but hope this might help others. I too have not received goods ordered in December and submitted a claim to my credit card company. They have now re credited the money to my card. It did take a while but worth it. The company also pursues so special and takes the money back from them so hopefully justice will be done. I really cannot understand why the web site is still being allowed to operate. Something should be done about this to stop others being conned.

i made an order on 29th november,still nothing,,got told in december order was completed but still nothing arived,,they dont answer emails,the phone number is a joke as its a recording telling you to email them,,i called trading standards and they said to send them a recorded delivery letter demanding my money back,,dont hold out much hope of that though,,this company is still selling to unsuspecting customers who have no idea they are being conned,,just like i was..

I paid back in Oct 10 for eyessential, false eye lashes and St Topez tanning lotion total of £73.13. Todate dispite numerous promises of immediate delivery made by [name] nothing has been received, nor refunded. I made numerous complaints all confirmed with acknowledgements but no goods or money back.
I paid for these items in good faith and now find that this company are nothing but fraudests.

Like all reviews before me, I say do not buy from these scumbags. I will definitely be taking this matter further. I placed an order on 30 December 2011, am still waiting, and, now, from reading all the reviews know that I will never receive my goods, but they take your money straight away.I hope these "not so special scumbags" get their just desserts and quickly before anyone else gets scammed.
I am also 1 of a long list of people that has lost money on this riddiculous website. I ordered on sat 14th of jan, and became worried when the order status said 'awaiting fulfillment' on the tuesday. I emailed them expressing my worries and got no reply. I have since emailed them several times and in one of the emails have made them aware of the distance selling regulations and have given them a deadline of 2/03/12 to resolve this issue before i take legal action. I will not be happy until this company get what they deserve, and will be taking them to court no matter how much it costs. I have also phoned one of the companies also in pascoe house and was told that they are not there anymore. So by the looks of it, not only are they scamming people, but they are also advertising under a false address. Well whoever they are, where ever they are, They will not get away with this!
