I too ordered goods before Xmas. The goods didn't arrive, I sent various emails asking for progress on the order and eventually got an email back 2 weeks later saying the goods were now in stock. I advised them on 17th December to cancel my order and refund my money and I'm STILL waiting. I've been emailing them but to no avail - no response. This company needs investigating and closing down.
I tried to get my money back from these rogue traders through paypal and my credit card but they give you a four month deadline to claim. It would seem this company play a tactic through their emailing to try and play for time 'advising they will deliver but to be frank from my experience i paid for goods never to receive!! If they say they are going to deliver they are playing for time.
My only option has been to contact Watchdog and trading standards. Im sure a united front will take this company to task!!
Just purchased online 6th Jan 2012. E mailed three times from 11th -19th. no response. Answerphone says to e mail. Catch 22. Now contacted the chargeback dept at Mastercard. Will probably take ages but I will get my money back. Wish I had seen the reviews first. Now purchaed Revitalash from Amazon

I, like many others have been scammed, I stupidly paid for a set of eyessential at £65.00. Obviously the pricing was too good to be true, (and it was) considering it's about £35.00 per pump and they were offering £65.00 for 3.
I am astonished in how terrible their customer service is, I have had very few responses to the emails I have sent. I've also demanded a refund and they have replied by saying that the product is now in stock and will be sent next week. Three weeks later, still nothing.
I have called trading standard and they said if you do not receive your goods within 30 days, they are in breach of contract and you have every right to get a refund.
They said if you paid by direct debit you can sometimes get a chargeback.
Ordered beginning of Nov given up now but I did get money back from Barclaycard. They were very good.
If you paid by credit card, do let the fraud team know, eventually they may just do something about it?
I can't believe the site is still running though I do notice it has been taken of googles ad list.
I contacted watchdog and I urge others to do so, they may just be able to stop these people, ( i won't call it a company!)

Odered goods mid dec 2011 have received no reply after one email stating goods would be a few days before they came back in stock.
Doubt I will get a refund of them, hope VISA can help.

Absolutely disgusted! I ordered eyesential off these scammers on the 7th December and still haven't received either a refund or product. I sent them dozens of emails inquiring the whereabouts of my goods, with no reply whatsoever. That is until I informed them that I had reported them to action fraud and threatened to take it even further, only then did I receive an email of what you may call an 'apology' but giving me little answers to the questions I'd asked. After a numerous amount of emails I have only ever received 2 back.These people need to be stopped IMMEDIATELY! They're ripping people off left, right and center and still no justice has been done! Completely lost all my faith in ordering online. Family run business? They should be ASHAMED!
I like many others placed an order 1.8.11 it didn't arrive and when I chased it they said it wasn't in stock but would be back in stock soon. I waited and nothing came I said I'd have a refund instead, which surprise surprise didn't come either. It has been 5 MONTHS!!! now and still no response from them and still no refund. One word APPALLING.
Like many people I am still waiting on goods I ordered at the end of July 2011 and only rated 1 star but should have been NIL. Money was taken from my account and again was advised item not in stock on numerous occasions. Despite sending countless reminders, they still asked me if I still required the goods. Suppose to be a family company - maybe so but keeping all the money to themselves. I have contacted Consumer Direct who have given me advice re this and will be pursuing this further as So Special are in breach of contract. I urge others to do the same and maybe something will be done about this scam company who rip everyone off!!

I ordered eyesential from so special on the 26th November and after reading this I now understand it was a better idea to flush £30 down the toilet. This company took my money 6 weeks ago and I still have not received my goods or a refund. I was told after 2 weeks of waiting that they had no stock and were expecting it that week. After another 2 weeks of asking for a refund they said they now had stock and did I want it sending. I am still waiting for either the goods or a refund another 2 weeks later. You cannot leave a message on their telephone number given on their website as it is a message only. So I don't think I am going to get my goods or a refund as they are ignoring my e-mails. I am reporting them to www.actionfraud.org.uk and Consumer Direct on 0845 404 0506. I hope I can get my money back via my bank. Do not use this company, they are definitely NOT So special.
I have been well and truly robbed. who polices these site ? sent them a recorded letter it came back saying Addressee gone away it has really put me off buying on line...........................Hope they get sick on their ill gotten gains............They are still operating how can they be stopped from scamming others..

If this were a genuine trading company they would state on their order page that the products are out of stock or that there is a delivery delay.
I am also putting a complaint into Google. Why should they still be allowed to trade and take money from unsuspecting shoppers?

Like other reviewers I ordered revitalash on 15th November 2011 and after sending three e-mails still have not received my order. They did actually answer them staying more stock was due shortly but of course my order did not arrive. I have asked for a refund but after reading the other reviews I now realise this will not happen. I should have been wary because the product was cheaper on their website than any where else. I ordered some eye sential on 31 October 2011 and am still waiting for it!!!!! I have requested a refund 9 times and have not had one, same email comes "we are now ready to fulfill your order" despite telling them I do not require it anymore.
I have rang the number on the contact page which does not give you an option to leave a message, it just tells you to send an email to which they take 3-4 days to reply, I even emailed my telephone number and asked them to ring, still waiting for that phone call!!!
I have now reported them to Google, Trading Standards and various other sites to inform them this is not a legitimate website or company. I will take this further should I still not get a refund.

Mine is the same story as pretty much everyone elses on here. They took my money and never delivered my item depspite emailing them many times. My advice is if you have bought anything to contact your bank. I am with HSBC and explained the situation. I had used my debit card but they can do a thing called chargeback. They credited my account with the amount I paid and are taking up the matter with the merchants bank. Do this quick though as I think there is a time limit of 120 days from the transcation.
I wish I had seen your website before giving this company my credit card details. I emailed an order for Eyessential and paid £30, surprise, surprise. The money has been taken from my card and no package has arrived. I tried to call the phone number and it's no longer operating.
UPDATE. Have just checked companies house the company is listed as Disolved (bust) !
I have put 1 star but this company doesn't even warrant that. My story is the same as everyone elses with my order outstanding from August 2010. They are a disgusting company and I hope they get closed down as soon as possible.

i ordered fake bake tan and it never arrived! sent some emails and a person called "jody" replied saying i would be sent it as it was out of stock. still never arrived! i am just glad it was only £20 and not £100 or something! stay well clear!!!!!
I have been waiting for a Revitalash order since the 16th September, it is Christmas I have not received it and am about to persue them through the small claims court. This company does not respond to e-mails and there are no other means of contacting them except through their website.

the same thing happened to me in august, i bought 2 rivitalash eyeserums for £78.00 ,never got them, jody kept sending me emails saying she was going to refund but I hever got anything back.................best advice is to print out all the emails you have of her, ask your bank for a refund, i paid by debit card with the abbey and got the full £78.00 back .hope this helps x
Piad over £44 for goods from this company so special and after nearly 6 weeks nothing has arrived they took my money straight away :-( 4.11.2011. I find it shocking that I am reading so many bad things over a period of a few years how can they get away with this !!!!!!!!

This order has so far taken three months to be processed, with several emails from 'the sales team' and Jody Palmer promising me it will be fulfilled. It hasn't and I doubt it will. Like everyone else; I wish I had checked this company(?!) out before ordering. I placed an order, paying immediately, on 20th August 2011.
Since then it has been all the stalling as described by others, and blatant ignoring of demands for a refund.
Advertising standards were ignored; and, at the advice of Consumer Direct, I have recently sent the final demand letter. If she does not refund money they will then go to small claims. They have informed Trading Standards. Paypal are also chasing her.
You do wonder if you are unlucky and others have had a normal service; but this so called company is a total scam.

I paid for my items and spent £44.50 on the 30th Sept 2011 for a birthday present that was on 9th October, but I have not received any delivery! Delivery status - Awaiting Fullfillment (what ever that means?) I have sent them numerous emails without a single reply! Luckily I have paid via PayPal and opened up a dispute so I should get my money back from PayPal!
I have aslo reported them to Action Fraud 0300 123 2040!

I wish I had checked on this company BEFORE placing my order.
Ordered on the 1st October, item still shows as "awaiting fulfillment". Tried to contact them but note that there is no phone number. Completed their "contact us" form and have had no response as yet, although the ticket has been assigned to a [name removed]. I paid via paypal and the receipt contains an email address that starts jody..... but the recipient of the monies is someone called [name removed].
Have sent [name removed] a personal email and also copied it to the Sales email address listed on here.
I have also opened a "dispute" through paypal....interestingly, as soon as I lodged the dispute it was automatically escalated to a "claim" as apparently the recipient of the money can't respond at the moment (whatever that means)....so now we must wait until the deadline of Oct 20th for the recipient to reply to paypal. I just wonder how paypal knew immediately that they weren't going to respond to the "dispute" and immediately escalated it....it's almost as though they know that there is a problem with this recipient/seller?
I'll let you know the outcome...but in the mean time.....
I Won't be ordering again until this is resolved. Perhaps you shouldn't either!!!
By the way....I've just tried to buy something else from the site and although you can add items to your basket..it seems you can't actually complete the transaction and buy the products???????? I wonder why???????
