Living in Australia I was not sure whether to order the replacement globe for my LG TV set from the Sound & Vision folks in UK in place of a local Australian supplier, as I saw some good savings. I contacted them regarding the item's suitability, warranty, postage and ability to install. They simply re-assured me to proceed with the purchase and stop worrying about .
I placed the order and within five days the globe arrived in Australia, which included clear instructions for installation. It simply worked, and I did not need to call the local TV repair guys, saving me a big packet.
I placed my order as a new customer, I received a confirmation email, then two others saying that the unit was dispatched and on its way. Sure enough the next day it arrived. Not bad considering I placed the order at 17:00.

Panoravision LED-86 - good spec, good price and quick delivery. But...
1. The seals on the base were broken, the back socket panel was loose and something rattled inside. I'm an electronics / mechanical engineer, so I opened it up to sort out any obvious problems. 6 of 8 lid screws and 2 of 4 socket panel screws had broken pillars - clearly a design fault. I've repaired these (aluminium sleeves and ABS glue) and all is well now. But I'm somewhat disappointed!
2. The remote control is a joke!
3. It doesn't handle a USB stick of JPEGs very well. 'Play', 'Pause', 'Fwd' and 'Bwd' are pretty well useless!
However it gives a good picture and, although disappointed, I'll hang on to it. Please let me know if the installed software gets an update.
This supplier is faultless in my eyes, fast delivery of quality products at the best price available online.

Sometimes I consider my self a difficult customer, was the same for the order now. Needed assistance for choosing the lamp, and I got all the information needed so I could order the specific bulb I needed. Got it in Italy in only 3 days after paying the lamp. Installed and works perfectly! Many thands SOUNDANDVISIONAV!
Ordered and received next day, great packaging, although no gloves, had some here anyway. TV was taking upto two hours to turn on due to the lamp on its way out, put in new bulb, started within a cople of minutes, thought Brilliant. Watched TV all day no problems, even wrote to sound and vision to compliment and thank them. A little premature, as next morning tried to turn TV on and it now keeps saying needs a new bulb, even after 4 hours of continuos button pressing. So a waste of £61 in my case. Sorry couldn't leave anything more positive, but I'd rather be honest.

The post service sent the product in France the day after ... and ...
The french postal service needs 5 days to deliver the product !!! a shame .
Ordered on saturday and had by tuesday in Ireland,got a lot of stick from kids as we had to return to a small screen for the few days,easily fitted and had clear instructions as how to handle the bulb,if i need any more parts i will be right back,Thank You
As well as having amazingly low prices and next day delivery at very reasonable costs, they also offer excellent telephone support which helped me to ensure that I bought the right items first time.
For the first month, the new bulb in my sagem TV worked well and I was happy.
Then it went phutt and the black screen and two red dots on the front of the TV returned.
When I phoned the company, the lady who answered the phone said that it was not right that the bulb should go after a month and said they would replace it for me.
Then the gentleman came on the phone and eventually said I would have to return the bulb before I could get a replacement. He also said that the bulb would not have gone so quickly unless there there was a overheating problem.
I would suggest to other people with a similar problem to just give up on the TV and not waste money on it

I bought a bulb for my projector and saved £60 on price compared to the company I usually deal with. Not only that but paid less on delivery and it arrived within 24 hours! Am so happy I shopped around. Will be shopping with soundandvisionav from now on. They can't be beaten, highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys x
