Pleased as punch

Ordered a pair of reading glasses and sport sun glasses for my husband as Specsavers no longer offer the wraparound style sunnies. Was impressed with the easy to navigate website. The choice was immense and a price range to suit all. Felt SFE was my new BFF for the next few days after ordering due to number if confirmation emails I received. Was a little concerned when everything then went quiet for a week but I sent a message and was told they had been super busy but my order would be a couple more days. I had paid for standard Royal Mail delivery so I commented that I would have paid extra for express delivery if I had realised there would be a delay. I was delighted to then receive a message saying my order was on its way, and SFE had sent it same day delivery. Chuffed with the results, the red/black sunnies are fab! Gonna order some for myself , just in case we have a summer sometime soon!

Specks for my eyes

Really good value, really good quality, easy to navigate website. It's hard not to recommend the excellent all round service provided by Specky Four Eyes from start to very gratifying finish. Thank you SFE!!!!

Even catered for a change in prescription! you cant go wrong.

Apprehensive about buying on the internet my partners glasses. Entered his details and new prescription. Couple of days later got an email glasses being made..partner realised his prescription was too strong..i didnt know what to do..anyway quick email and a personal email back to ask correct details and it was all sorted :)
Yes they took a couple of weeks to arrive..specsavers you can have in a week (3 times our local branch have made mistakes and had to remake the glasses, wrong PD, wrong prescription completely, and too strong last time, for 3 of us) but nothing like what he has got for the price! The specsavers ones have had to be retightened 3 times in 6months but the specky ones not yet! Highly recommend thanks x

they take twice as long as the high street at least.

ardered specks on the 19th of april still not arrived, they say 7 to 10 days turnaround rubish should have gone to speck savers.

I have always purchased from High Street Opticians untill an offer from Specky Four Eyes tempted me to try on line, and the service was so good that I will never purchase from the High Street again. I did have a bit of a glitch with my order as the frames I ordered were out of stock, but was contacted by email to informe me and another pair selected, which came without problem. The whole experience was very good, I have recommended the company to all my four eyed friends :)

I ordered a pair of Guess prescription sunglasses and was completely satisfied with both the service and product. Ordering was straight forward. I would happily buy again.

Excellent quality at a realistic price

I took advantage of the weekend £25 discount offer in January and got myself a pair of Bench frames with scratch resistant lenses and a Bench case for about £20!

The comms were frequent and helpful and my glasses arrived soon after despatch. Excellent quality and only a fraction of the price in the high street. I will definitely buy from here again.

No probs great company!

I received my glasses and updates no problem smooth and easy transaction from beginning to end! I may have waited 2 weeks roughly for them but a pair of designer bench glasses for £22? I'd say that was worth the wait!:)x

Used Voucher code to purchase cheaper glasses Didn't expect very much but was pleasantly surprised when they arrived The communication was excellent After I sent the wrong Prescription in.. They helped me sort it in a very professional manner... My glasses arrived and they were excellent and the price paid Will definitely use them again.....

very poor service

I was excited to purchase a cheap glass as they were offering great discount with vouchers. I placed my order on 16th of Feb. It took a week for them to ask me for prescription approval. after they confirmed it until now, every week they are keep saying your orders are going to be dispatched in a few days. Today is 4th f March and they are saying we thought you know there is a difference between customers who use voucher and the one who pays in full! ANd because of that you have to wait longer! That's unbelievable as I never saw anything like this before. This company is one should everyone avoid because of the way of their thinkings!!!

I was very nervous when I placed my order through the internet ,especially after giving out my credit card details to a company 12000 miles away. I have read the horror stories about people who receive poorly made eyeware with the wrong script lenses, only to end up with nothing......what a shame they didn't find Specky.
This company could not have looked after me any better than they did. Total dedication to customer service is backed up with qualified technicians who make sure that the product you receive is second to none.....it gives you that "Wear with pride and confidence" feeling.
In summary then, will I use them again...you bet......for where else will I get a better deal.....and the cost....more than reasonable.....actually no.....less.

Fantastic specks at bargain prices :)

I recently bought a pair of Ghost glasses. I have to admit, being such good value, I thought they were going to be cheap quality & badly made, but wow, was I surprised! They're not only the best value glasses I have ever bought, they're also the nicest pair I've owned! I've only worn them a few weeks & so far have got compliment, after compliment because of them. And the prescription on them is perfect too! Can't wait to buy my next pair now :)

TOP DOLLAR

I Had no problems with Specky four eyes i only needed pescription reading glasses
but the prices where i got my eyes checked were just to dear.(BOOTS) and the frames were very expensive and drab unlesss you paid over £100 for designer frames.
I was very pleased with the quality and service and of my glasses took approx
3 weeks to arrive very well made look amazing.
My two year old has ruined one pair but i will be definately returning to S.F.E
for a replacement Top Dollar

Very Good Value Glasses

Ordered several pairs of glasses and all have arrived and been of excellent standard. The only slight grumble would be they take a few weeks to arrive but considering the saving compared to a high st optician I can live with that.
The glasses are always of excellent standard and lenses have always been correct.
Would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending.

A THREE WEEK WASTE OF TIME

Ordered my glasses from Specky Four Eyes.

It took about a week to receive notification that the optician had approved them.

Then another week to say the lenses were now being made, then another week to be told the frames I had ordered were no longer in stock.

They offered me an alternative colour, which I accepted.

Then another email saying the alternative were now also unavailable.

By this time I had lost patience with them and told them to cancel - I also told them I wasn't happy with their service and would write a review to that effect.

Instead of them leaving it at that, I then received what I perceived to be a threat of legal action - their words were: 'we take defamation very seriously'.

This is in itself a suggestion that I was going to write libelous stuff about them - that was never my intention - just a straight, honest review of what in my opinion is a very bad company and definitely one to avoid.

They may be cheap, but you may also be waiting weeks for nothing.

Ordered the glasses and arrived in about a week. Cant really believe the price.. Designer glasses with lenses and for under £30 delivered ! no on believes me when i tell then so have piinted all my glasses wearing mates to the website . Okay the glasses were on offer , but still .. absolute bargain .

Great service, prices and recommended to friends

I've used Specky Four Eyes a few times now. The products are always well made for the price, emails sent to let you know the glasses are being made or dispatched. Time from ordering to actual delivery can be a little long but I'm guessing that is due to the weight of orders they under take. I have recommended to friends and my girlfriend is now going to use the website since seeing my glasses and the prices I have paid.

Good value, good selection, cheaper than from the opticians

After being told how much my prescription glasses would cost at my optician (£100), I decided that I would carry on wearing "reading glasses" from the pound shop. They did the job OK but obviously do not cater for a different prescription in each eye. I decided to look at the website and saw there was a wide selection of frames at very reasonable prices. I chose the frames I wanted, input my prescription and ordered the glasses. They came quickly and I am very pleased with them (especially given the price tag compared to what opticians charge). I highly recommend the site.

Luvin my new spex

My new Bench spex arrived today finally, a long wait for delivery but I love them, fit perfectly, and I am definitely going to use Specky Four Eyes again.

Great glasses but long wait

Glasses arrived today, ordered them on 16/10/12 so they took longer than the 7-10 days, but the communication was good.

The product is great and they fit nicely.

Excellent Service, Excellent glasses, Fast Delivery, what more can I say?

I have used SpeckyFour Eyes twice, and both times the service has been impeccable. Like anyone, I had reservations about ordering glasses on the internet, but I needn't have worried. In fact having experienced some horrors buying from high-street opticians, I can honestly say SFE were a lot less hassle.
The value is exceptional (I have benchmarked against the high street) and everything about the order, from the original website to the fast delivery, was efficient and professional. I strongly recommend the company, and will be using them again.
