Excellent Service, Excellent glasses, Fast Delivery, what more can I say?

I have used SpeckyFour Eyes twice, and both times the service has been impeccable. Like anyone, I had reservations about ordering glasses on the internet, but I needn't have worried. In fact having experienced some horrors buying from high-street opticians, I can honestly say SFE were a lot less hassle.
The value is exceptional (I have benchmarked against the high street) and everything about the order, from the original website to the fast delivery, was efficient and professional. I strongly recommend the company, and will be using them again.

The glasses are really nice and they are very comfortable, as I was concerned that they may not fit being bought over the internet

Poor Service

It states 7-10 working days to receive order, I am still waiting since 19th Oct 2012, still no sign of order. Have called them today and they said item still not dispatched and would be next week now after they said they would be with me last week!! All paid up but no goods, will not be using them again! Very bad and poor customer service

A fabulous service - what are you waiting for?

I have to recommend SpeckyFourEyes - I was a little wary of ordering prescription specs online, but I found I had no cause at all for worry. They were straight back in touch with me over any queries/problems and guided me through the whole process. And the specs are great! smart, fashionable, well made, - all at a fraction of the price. I was so tired of high street rip-offs. I'm only sorry I didn't find SpeckyFourEyes before. When you next need prescription specs, go straight to their site. You won't be disappointed.

Great Value and Great Specs!

I ordered some Bench glasses and I was unsure at first whether online prescriptions would be correct so I only opted for the cheaper lenses. I was very suprised with the quality and look of these glasses and will definately be buying more!!

Bargain price, good service, easy to use

I used specky four eyes for the first time recently and was very impressed. Initially, it was the bargain price I could get designer glasses for in comparison to the PROCES charged at high street opticians. I was kept informed every step of the way via email and once despatched I received them very quickly. The glasses are good quality and I would recommend anyone to use them :)

PERFECT!

I had some reservations about buying glasses online as I've heard horror stories from other people about their disasterous attempts. SpeckyFourEyes was recommended by Moneysavingexpert website so I thought it would be worth the gamble. I shouldn't have worried because when my new Bench specs arrived they were just perfect. It's worth taking your time to make sure the info you give from your perscription is correct but that done, relax and await your new glasses. I can honestly say that they are better than my other new pair that I orderred at the same time from a leading high street optician.

Horrendous customer service

If all goes well SpeckyFourEyes may be fine, but you're in trouble if you complain or want a refund.

Ordered frames and lenses from them, but found order status updates to be inconsistent. The lenses also took well over the supposed 8-10 days. So, when I got my glasses and found a mark on the frames I returned them requesting a refund rather than a replacement.

Four weeks after SpeckyFourEyes had received my returned glasses a replacement pair was delivered to me. In the intervening weeks I'd sent a number of e-mails to SpeckyFourEyes asking about the status of my refund. Most went unanswered, some got a reply promising to looking into the matter. I was never told a replacement pair was being sent.

Since then I've tried numerous e-mails and phone calls to ask why my refund request was ignored. Mostly I've been ignored again, although I was offered a 20% off code in compensation for the original faulty frames - absolutely useless and misses the point of my complaint entirely.

I have never experienced such poor customer service before.

Glasses received WITHOUT the lenses I paid for! Shocking!

My order turned up today (order number 017680) and the reading lenses I paid for have not been put in them. The glasses I received still have the manufacturer temporary stamped plastic lenses that *do not* magnify anything at all, they are clear and marked with BENCH (etched) all over the plastic. I ordered reading lenses! and they have not been put in my glasses. I am disgusted that my order has been shipped out to me without the actual lenses I paid for being actually put into the glasses!

Edited to add: I have proof of my order, which the seller keeps denying. I have email proof, screen shots of emails taken from my account on their website and confirmation email.

Excellent products at a great price

5* service and products to match what more could you ask for.

Very Disappointing

Possibly the poorest service I've received from an online company. No notification of when glasses can be expected to arrive, when queried ( after 8 days ) I received an email from ' The Specky Four Eyes Team' saying that they aimed to dispatch glasses in 10 days from order date. It took almost a month, and a further email, for an off the shelf pair of reading glasses to arrive. With a different case from the one I'd ordered as mine was 'out of stock'.

I sent a further email outlining my unhappiness with their communication and service, they didn't bother to reply.
I definitely won't use them again.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE & QUALITY

Hats off to Specky four eyes, my original order went missing en route to me, the lovely chap who answered the phone was most helpful, they redid my order and posted it out the next day, my glasses arrived 2 days after the phone call! the guy who answered the phone was extremely helpful and i consider him to be a great asset to the company as nothing was too much trouble for him to sort out, i have ordered from Specky Four Eyes before and their service is excellent and the glasses i've had from them are even better than any fitted in an optician, seems the staff have a great work ethic and can actually read prescriptions properly unlike some high street retailers! i will definately order from them again as their range is far better than any high street retailer and they definately dont rip anyone off with their prices, makes you wonder how much profit high street shops make when SFE can do designer glasses so cheap :)

Helpful website and excellent service

Just wanted to drop a quick note to thank you for the service and particularly for the SFE-1033 frame, which I hope will be brought back into stock even if at a higher price. It isn't always easy to find frames with such a small depth (which I've found suits my prescription) or retailers that bother to list this as a measurement.

Important first step.

I am very happy with my specs from speckyfoureyes, but I would like to pass on one important piece of advice. When you get your eyes tested, before leaving the opticians, select a frame that you like & is a comfortable fit. Take details, such as maker & model. You will be able later to look on the internet & get details of frame width, bridge dimensions & length of side arms. This will ensure a good fit for your glasses from Specky.

Amazing Customer service

I normally buy my glasses from Boots but I thought I'd give Speckyfoureyes.com a go this time as Boots I find to be really rude when it comes to choosing glasses.

Spoke to a young lady at customer services that helped me choose my perfect frame and she even advised me on what lens thickness options to go for based on my prescription.

The glasses arrived in 6 days which was really impressive. I'll be coming back for more when the sun starts shining!

NOTHING TO MUCH TROUBLE

iI ORDERED TWO PAIRS AS I HAVE HAD THEM FROM SPECKY FOUR BEFORE BUT THEY GOT LOST IN THE POST CONTACTED SPECKY FOUR EYES AND THEY SENT TWO NEW PAIRS WHICH I RECIEVED WITHIN 4 DAYS SO EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WILL CERTAINLY USE AGAIN

Perfect glasses

I ordered some glasses (2pairs) one ofr reading and one for my distance vision on Christmas Day (I know, sad lol!) and I received them today!

They look amazing. So much better than any I've ever bought at Boots!

Quick & easy & much cheaper than the high street

Excellent experience of using SpeckyFourEyes.com at the start of December. I'd been needing an extra pair of glasses for a while (I don't like to only have 1 pair due to breaking them in the past and being left blind as a bat in the process! Makes me nervous).

I didn't want to settle for a very cheap pair of glasses from the high street, I've been meaning to get a rimless pair the last few times but have always been put off by the price. In the end I was able to get a rimless pair of specs for my prescription for literally a third of the price of the cheapest rimless pairs I've been trying on in shops.

I would definitely use their service again. I'm actually surprised my glasses arrived so soon due to the Christmas delivery backlogs that always hit at this time of year, but I ordered on the 5th December and I had them on the 19th. Excellent!!
