HOW DARE THEY ADD ON A MUG AND MAGAZINE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE WHEN I PLACE AN ORDER? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS AND SURELY ILLEGAL? DESPITE EMAILING THEM I HAVE NOT HAD A RESPONSE. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE ONLY REASON I ORDERED ONLINE IS THAT THEIR SHOP STAFF ARE SO COMPLETELY THICK THAT I COULDN'T CONVERSE WITH THEM.
Ai commandé chaussures de sport, ai reçu mauvaise taille (taille anglaise, mal spécifié sur le bon de commande). Je renvois à mes frais (1er prix 10€). 10 jours après, je reçois le même colis, malgré mes explications ! Je contacte le service client. Réponse robot. Pas de nouvelles depuis plus de 10 jours ! Je pense que je peux faire le deuil de mon remboursement et devrais me promener avec des "palmes" aux pieds. Ce genre de société devrait être interdite sur les sites français. Faites très attention aux tailles et modèles qui ne correspondent pas à ceux que vous croyez commander. Il ne faut pas rêver, des nike flex 2013 à 50€ alors que partout ailleurs c'est 85€.... il y a un couic ! Bref, à fuir......Danger. Je rajoute aujourd'hui ce détail, j'ai été remboursé d'une partie et pour diverses raisons totalement aberrantes et hors sujet, je m'assoie tel que je l'avais prévu, sur une bonne partie de mon remboursement, pourtant du, je le repète, à une erreur de leur part. Donc, je conserve mon avis négatif. PAS SERIEUX.
I have bought a few items in the past and they have always been delivered promptly, serious problems occured though when I sent back an item. I ordered a pair of running shoes and they were a bit tight so I sent them back and ordered the next size up on the same day. I expected to receive a refund within one week but after 3 weeks I noticed I still hadn't received anything. I called customer services to find I was number 7 in the queue and then waited for another 20 minutes so I can only assume they have only one or two people answering the phone. When I enquired as to where my refund was I was told that someone tried to refund me 3 weeks prior but that for some reason the refund didn't work and they noted it on the system. They then completely neglected to tell me this and would have no doubt kept the £65 if I hadn't noticed. I find this totally unacceptable particularly because after calling they agreed to send a cheque (which took another 2 weeks) which they should have done in the first place. I wonder how much they make from refunds that "haven't gone through"? My advice would be if you do return something call them the next day to check they have got your item and then ask them to refund it whilst you are on the phone. They get an extra star becasue when I haven't had to return things I have been please with the speed that the items have been despatched, wouldn't use them again though.
I was visiting the Kilburn store to buy a pairs of trainers. I was in the basement in the ladies section seen a pair i liked and could not find a member of floor staff so i went to the cash desk and the guy behind called for a staff member, i went back to the shoe area to wait for him....when he arrived he did not even come down to me he was about 15 feet away and shouted over to me what i needed, they initial trainer i wanted was not available in my size so i chose another style still with him several feet away from me, when he arrived with my trainers he gave me one shoe whilst talking to a colleague, not acknowledging me at all and then walked off leaving me with just one shoe , i waited a few minutes before heading down to the cash desk yet again to find out where her had gone. There was absolutely no customer service what so ever, it was only this one staff member, i understand he may only be on minimum wage, but as are most service staff (i work in a pub where my bar staff are on minimum wage but have a very high level of customer service) . I was just very shocked with how i was dealt with, there was no need for it , the store was not even busy !
I ordered 4 items 2 tracksuits where faulty one was the wrong size and an other was missing the pants. After 7 e-mails i finnaly got a reply. 30% discount for the pants missing and i could send back the wrong size and they wouldd refund my shipping costs. I had to make a photo of the shipping bill whitch i did. I ONLY RECEIVED A REFUND FOR THE PRICE OF THE TRACKSUIT THEY SEND WRONG. Send over 10 e-mail to them but no reply. Luckely i paid with VISA so i can still open a claim with them. Over more than 10 years i ordered over the internet but i never experianced this. I live in Belgium and if annybody knows how i can file a complaint in UK please contact me.
Ordered a pair of trainers online which eventually arrived within a week but which unfortunately came up small. No problem I thought and returned the trainers having filled in the returns slip specifying a replacement not a refund.
Needless to say the replacement shoes were never sent out and emails to SD customer service went unanswered. I eventually got my money back but what a painful and unnecessary experience.
Oh and be warned thay use Yodel delivery service which in itself is a very good reason to shop elsewhere!
I placed an order for some 2012 men's olympic speedos as a momento from the recent Olympics and this was the only retailer I could find that actually had a fair and reasonable price. I placed the order and it arrived quickly and well packed. No problems here for me. The service in the stores can leave something to be desired though, they often don't have stuff they've advertised in-stock, and their returns policy isn't as good as their competitors (eg they don't offer refunds).
Received two 16" black cabin cases today, cannot fault the delivery time. However one of the cases looks as though it has already travelled around the world at least once! It is absolutely filthy. I know I only paid £7.99 plus half the delivery cost (as two were ordered) making a total of approx £10.00, but It wasn't advertised as second hand/nearly new. I tried 'phoning customer services to log a complaint but needless to say after listening to a load of waffle the pre recorded message finally told me what it could have told me at the begining and that was that they were CLOSED. Altough the goods are faulty, I will have to return at my own cost. BE AWARE YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO RESLOVE ANY ISSUE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS COMPANY WILL EXPECT YOU TO RETURN GOODS AT YOUR OWN COST EVEN IF FAULTY.
Bought 2 pairs of snow boots after being target marketed by them. Yodel tracking said it had been delivered 3 days later. Of course ive never seen it, and asked all neighbours!! emailed every day. 12 TIMES in total!! rung various different numbers and been cut off after holding half an hour every time!! Effectively they have stolen my money. Its been over two weeks now with no response!! If you order online you run the risk of NEVER being responded to if your parcel isnt delivered!! CUSTOMER SERVICE DISGRACEFUL!! snow has gone now!!!
Not using YODEL as their courier service would MASSIVELY improve Sports Direct's reputation but they don't seem to CARE so thats fine , they will just LOSE customers as have decided NEVER to order from them again or recommend their deals on HUKD or MSE!!!!! :-(
ORDERED SOME CHRISTMAS SALE ITEMS which I never received but a ''kind'' ( not ) neighbour says it was left outside DOWNSTAIRS for 2 days before it disappeared ..... then SD said ( after keeping me waiting for 20 minutes for my call to be ANSWERED even ) it had been SIGNED FOR but no address for who supposed to have signed for it as Yodel said it WASN'T signed for so a complete SHAMBLES as are quick to TAKE your money but looks like getting any sort of refund will be an absolute nightmare and CS were cold & totally disinterested , absolute RUBBISH service , no goods , no refund & no REAL apology!!
Jeg købte dengang jeg gik på efterskole vores årstøj. Tøjet var ikke som det skulle være og de fik det igen, jeg blev lovet noget nyt, men i Sport Direct Kolding bliver de ved med at udsætte det. Det er nu omkring 5 år siden og jeg har stadig ikke fået hvad jeg har betalt for. Hvis det ikke er dårlig service og tomme ord, ja så ved jeg ikke hvad jeg skal kalde det?
Det var ikke muligt for mig at få mine penge igen, men jeg blev bedt købe noget nyt, helt fair for jeg kunne sagtens bruge noget andet. Jeg fik en brochuerer og måtte vælge for omkring 400-500 kr, men da skrev angående størrelser og hvad jeg ønskede var de igen i Sportdirect Kolding tavse...
Jeg er meget skuffet over deres behandling af deres kunder, og jeg ønsker ikke for nogen at de skal opleve det samme som mig.
Jeg håber at sportdirekt måske har noget at sige til mig, jeg mangler service og noget for de penge jeg dengang betalte. Jeg har altså ikke glemt jer, jeg håber ikke at I har glemt mig!!!
I was bought a fantastic Barcelona Away football top as a gift in store at Sports Direct. Loved it but was the wrong size. Took it to another Sports direct (more local to me) day after with receipt to request an exchange, unfortunately they didn't have the size I needed, gave me a gift card for full value (which I can put towards my new football boots) and I bought the size I needed online - arrived next day in great condition.
Both in store and online I was very impressed. No hassle, very friendly and helpful staff (Dereham AND Norwich branch) completely understood my position and online checkout was very good too. No fuss that the item was in sale. Reccomend Sports Direct, would shop again
I recently purchase two orders from sports direct and they were despatched on time. Well done
My problem started with the shoddy courier service called Yodel. The first package was delivered to the wrong address and I had to go and collect when i noticed other address whilst chasing it up
Second was not even delivered yet again Yodel, they claim they tried to deliver but did not card me to say they tried?
And this is where my problem starts is that Sports Direct are ignoring my emails and sending me replys saying problem now lies with Yodel? Yodel wont reply to emails and are proberbly the poorest company I have tried to deal with. So im at a loose end and all I can do is go back to Barclay card and request a refund for failed goods
My advise whilst they use Yodel to deliver their goods is stay well clear of Web orders and shop in-store
I placed an order with Sports Direct on line and cancelled my order within 15 minuets due to finding a more suitable item somewhere else.
That was at the start of June, we are now the middle of July and I have only just recieved my refund.
I sent a number of emails chasing my refund as I was unable to find a telephone number to call from the website. I have even emailed the MD who has not bothere to reply or arrange for this to be sorted.
After a couple of weeks I managed to obtain a phone number from google. I understand now why they don't adverise the number because the staff are incompetent. I spent pounds calling up as nobody would call me back to discuss as requested on a number of occasions my email and by phone.
I am still trying to get myself removed from the email offers they send as I get a number of these per day yet can not get them to respond to an email sent to them.
I am now also out of pocket due to Sports Direct because of all the telephone calls I have had to make and it has been very time consuming.
I would advise anyone and everyone NEVER to shop with Sports Direct as I would rather pay double the price somewhere else then shop with here.
Like many people I have bought many pieces of sports clothing in the last few years from Sports Direct. Obviously the price is the main attraction but until now I have felt the ratio between price and quality was a fair one.
However I bought a pair of black leather Lonsdale trainers on January 5th 2012 and was initially happy with the style, quality and fit. However on Monday July 2nd that changed when I walked a short distance home in the rain, and discovered that both trainers leaked. I took them back on that Friday (once they had dried) and was told by the store that I was one day too late to have them replaced.
At first I thought the manager was joking, after all you could clearly see that other than the leaking soles there was very little wear and tear on them. The soles are a composite design and it was where one material was joined to another that had separated. To me this is clearly a manufacturing fault. Lonsdale brand is actually owned by Sports Direct so they have a vested interest in making sure the quality matches the price. But the company's policy is very much set up to dissuade customers from complaining. A customer has to contact Head office to resolve the issue if the trainers are just one day older than 6 months. Of course many people would just bin the shoes rather than start making phone calls and writing letters. But I am going to fight for common sense to prevail. Either Sports Direct will replace the faulty trainers or I will continue to look for opportunities to share my horrible experience with other customers.
