Ordered about 11pm on Sunday night, goods arrived Tuesday lunchtime! All as expected/described on website. Have ordered a few times and always found quick delivery. One time they had left security tag on an item, but they removed in store and refunded the postage.
Do not expect any service when you don't get what you bargained for. If they tell you to send it back so they can review the issue with the product and forward them the shipment proof of payment, don't believe them. As soon as you've sent the items and the proof of dispatch you get a reply stating that you will not be reimbursed because the items are not considered faulty.
Very interesting as the return shipment hasn't even left the DHL facility in-country yet!
I honestly wish I had checked reviews before I ordered because I definetely would'nt have bothered. I returned full order within 7 days I had to pay £3. 99 for delivery, yet it only cost me £2. 60 to return none of which was refundable. The goods were not what they should have been, most of reviews are disgusted with the customer service and I have to agree. No wonder the guy is a billionaire because he is robbing people of hard earned money, I know because I live in Newcastle. Please people don't order anything from this website because you will live to regret it, like many before me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a parcel 3 weeks ago to never received this parcel neither any notification through my door that this item had been delivered and to whom it was left with! Apparently it had been left with what they call a neighbour in the same row as me yet the number they claim it is at is not even in my cul de sac and they do not have my parcel!
Terrible customer service, keep getting fobbed off - no phone calls back when promised!
Trading standards are now involved and under the supply of goods and service act 1982 they have breached their contract by failing to responsibly use care and skill to deliver my item to me therefore I will not be letting this go and won't stop until I receive my refund!!

Do not use this company because if you need any help or anyone to answer a query you have no chance of contacting them. I needed to complete an order but wanted advice on why it had not completed. Could not get through as the phone message just said we are busy GOOD BYE! (Phone down) I e-mailed, Facebooked and Tweeted as well and no one could be bothered to get back to me to complete the order.
No customer SERVICE at all.
Got my soccer boots after few working days, but only to find out that six of the studs were missing. Someone had simply removed the studs from my boots.
I tried to contact Sportsdirect the following day but without lock. I tried again and again and then phoned them several times, but all I got was an answeringmachine who adwised me to visit their website.

Noticed that order confirmation had incorrect delivery address.
What is lousy about their ordering process/customer service:
No way to change the order after is has been placed as there is with e.g. Amazon
No contact phone number provided on their website. Contact only via email.
Even though I mailed their cust serv mail address immediately, Sportsdirect have neither responded or changed delivery address. 3 days without a response. Now the order had been dispatched to the wrong address. In the meantime they have sent me spam marketing mail, which I neither signed up for or was offered a decline option in the ordering process.
This is 2013 and Sportdirect do not fully understand how web commerce is supposed to operate.

I bought some Leki walking poles back in March via Ebay. One had obviously been used before, one section was scratched and the handle was scuffed.
Reported this to customer service who replied with a stock email telling me to send it back at my cost. When I complained further they eventually provided a freepost address but this could not be used as the pole is longer than the maximum for that service. On 26 March they agreed to collect and replace. I had to phone them on a 0845 number to arrange a date. I have never managed to get through by phone to speak to anyone.
I have emailed them several times and raised a dispute through Ebay but am getting absolutely nowhere.
Does anyone have a telephone number that works? Not 0870. Or a number or email for their head office?
I received my parcel 2 days ago and thought, that everything is fine. But one of item was creatine capsules and I wanted to start use them today, so I opened box and I had found out, that IT WAS PREVIOUSLY OPENED BY SOMEONE ELSE, as safety foil was missing, and inside were only 150 instead of 160 capsules. I sent also email to cust. service, but I received only some bulk email with info, that I must send it back to them and they will refund or send new item. I dont have a time for this! I would never believe, that this can happened! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NEVER MORE SPORTSDIRECT!
After reading the bad reviews i decided to get my item from the store instead of risking the internet site.
I think most of the bad ratings are more to do with the poorly rated delivery companies rather than Sports Direct.
If you would like to purchase an item do what i did - Go to the store and check the item before buying it, make sure it is in perfect condition and always purchase using a credit card for added protection.
Wow, wow, wow. I do not ever write a review unless I am really impressed. I ordered £100 worth of products from Sports Direct on Saturday (two days ago) and received my parcel today! All clothing was packaged well and the quality is superb. The price is so reasonable and I feel that I have purchased long lasting products at such a good price. Ignore the bad comments SD seem to have got their act together. They used Yodel delivery service.
Made a first order, three running shirts and a jacket. A genuine Nike shirt for € 8,00 ! The other stuff was Karrimor, two shirts and a jacket for € 20,00. A reasonable quality for that price. And . . . shipping € 1,00 to the Netherlands within 3 working days.
After that I read the bad reviews at Trustpilot. But with my positive first order I made a second one. Same story, Adidas en Nike stuff for the lowest price. Shipping for € 1,00 withing 3 working days.
Seems like foreign customers are more satisfied than UK-customers that visit the shops. Next time I certainly will shop at Sportsdirect again.
Went to the Norwich branch yesterday, My son wanted a portugal football shirt. He had money to spend as it was his birthday a couple of days previous. Found one in his size so he was chuffed. Went to the till and asked if he could have Ronaldo and number 7 printed on it but in the Great Yarmouth branch as that is where we are from. 'Yes, no problem, just keep your receipt' came the reply from the assistant. So, one very happy little boy now as we pop over to Great Yarmouth to get the shirt printed......... The yarmouth assistant first says, are they premier league'? Not a good start! I then said no they are a national team. We can only print premier league she replies.I asked why and got a 'don't know' reply. I told her that Norwich had said it was fine and we wouldn't have bought the shirt if couldn't have been printed. 'Nothing we can do' came another reply. I asked to go and see what the manager can do. She did and returned with the ' nothing we can do' answer. Cannot refund in full as the shirt is not faulty, offered a credit note. That is useless I told her, my son only wants a portugal shirt with Ronaldo on and you can't supply that so what do you think he's going to do with a credit note??? 'Sorry, nothing we can do' came the reply again. I was absolutely disgusted and walked out on the basis that I would complain to head office, however, I can't find a telephone number for it.... Now absolutely fuming. So, BEWARE, THE STAFF DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, THEY ARE RUDE AND UNENTHUSIASTIC AND THE MANAGERS DON'T GIVE A SHIT!! I now have one very upset and dissapointed 10 year old Ronaldo fan who has spent his birthday money on a shirt that don't mean anything to him due to the imcompetance of the shop staff!!!
Ordered a shirt from their website because i couldn't get it anywhere here in Denmark. The shirt was dispatched from them the 2nd of April, and I just received the shirt here 3 days later. And they even give a huge cup as a gift along with whatever you order, just great!
The same thing has happened to me. I ordered about £100 worth of stuff.
On the day it was supposed to be delivered I waited in all day. At 2054 (Yodel's cut off time for delivery is 2100 - coincidence?) I received an email to say the parcel had been delivered. It hadn't been. No card was left and it wasn't with any of my near neighbours. Yodel said they couldn't help and I would have to contact Sports Direct. Two unanswered contact emails later I managed to find a phone number on a Money Saving Expert forum. After holding for over 20 minutes (obviously) spoke to a (actually very nice) customer services agent. Have filled in a 'Non Receipt of Goods' disclaimer form and sent it back to them. I was also told I would not be liable for the cost of the goods so hopefully the call was recorded.

Usual story....they have my money...I do not have my products.....lies from Yodel bare-faced evasiveness from SD and absolutely no way of getting this put right.
I'm now reduced to having to spend my Saturday morning going to the arse end of the outskirts of Bristol on the offchance that they might have the stuff I paid for there........ if they don't I guess the next step is the police!? Mental....this is a high street store....I just want my f**king trainers.

ordered £83+ of gear for my sons birthday, said it was delivered by Yodel ( another bunch of #######) goods never arrived, Yodel tried to deliver goods to wrong house, Sports Direct told me they had and could I pop along to this house on our street to pick them up, I explained we had one neighbour in 1/2 mile either way so not a street in sight!! Found the house where they said they had delivered and people remember two men in a dodgy van call asking for our address and being given directions etc. the men drove off over their flower bed but did not call at our house even though they must have passed it. Yodel then sent somebody else to the same house to collect the parcel they never left. Therefore passing our house four times in total, complete dic#######, Yodel then according to Sports INDirect said we had collected the parcel from the wrong house then their yard. Neither company will answer emails, never contact you, give you loads of evasive crap whenever you call having waited for ever on the phone. They are incompetent, ignorant, uncaring, and basically do not give a sh## about you or your goods. They are a disgrace and are responsible for condoning theft! I have now reported this as a theft to Police and I will not be allowing Sports Direct or Yodel to get away with this
I have received a single box with only 46 products from the 126 products ordered. The rest of the products are missing. The Invoice shows all of them as sent but it's impossible to get 126 products in a single box.
I don't know how to get in touch with them because they don't answer e-mails. I'm missing goods worth over 700 sterling pounds. In my case, the order came with missing products, but I don't know how to recover my products or money. Great!
I placed my order on Saturday 23 March (at around 12 midday). At exactly 72 hours (today that is) my order arrived, everything as expected, correct sizes and colours, plus a large coffee cup with their logo as a gift. Keep in mind I live in Athens, Greece. Maybe their after sales support suffers, but that was not the case with me. Excellent, lightspeed delivery, excellent prices, I'm hooked!
First issue - Delivery starts at £3.99!
Second Issue - No free returns!
Third issue - Customer service number was hard to get and when I did call I was on hold for 20 minutes!
Fourth Issue - Item which was sent still have security tag on!
Fifth Issue - Sent back to take the tag off they said they had none left!? All I wanted was the tag to be taken off!?
No response from emails - 10 days later...

Received my parcel, big rip in the side, marked the signature as 'damaged', took photos, checked contents, missing items. Contacted via webform as there's no phone number several days ago - still nothing heard! I want my missing products. If you are 'so busy' - then you need to hire more people. Customer service is currently non-existant!
Orderd 4 items , recieved 1 in damaged packaging with no delivery note and left with neighbor, have filled out the onling contact us form would have more luck contacting the dead ,

i ordered a pair of trainers on sunday and they arrived wednesday,they sent me a email to say they had been dispatched on the monday and they arrived two days later.after reading some reviews i was abit hesitant on whether to order or not,but i could not fault them,plus they were the cheapest i could find.
I bought some Karrimor shoes on Sunday from Birmingham , Perry Barr store and after trying them again at home found them too narrow. Tried to return them for a refund 48 hour after purchase and offer only exchange or gift card. They must be obliged to clearly display their returns policy at the point of purchase?? The store Manager moved a pile of bags from the counter to reveal the notice. I checked all the tills on both floors and all were totally covered in merchandise hiding the notices.
I ended up taking the gift card but will give it away as a present as I have no intention of stepping foot inside any Sports Direct Store again. I am also writing to Which/ The Consumer Association as a possible way to warning other about this company and its practices.

I ordered and paid for a pair of foIotball boots and a pair of skate shoes for my grandson on 30th December 2012. I paid extra delivery of £9.99 for it to be posted to Spain.
Sports Direct sent entirely the wrong shoes inside the correct box. They obviously don't pay attention to detail and did not check the box contents.
The order took 19 days to arrive and when it did, my daughter was charged an extra 33.08 euros of which 2.25 euros was import tax. The additional charge was for carriage that I had already paid.
I contacted Sports Direct by telephone and got a rather bored member of staff named Michelle. She told me to return the incorrect item. I pointed out that I was already out of pocket for postage of almost £50 and she finally agreed ( after a half hour phone call from Spain at my expense) to get the courier to pick them up. She told me to package them up and the courier would let me know, by e-mail when they would collect them.
I did exactly as they asked and followed up by sending a fax with all the information and proof of the additional charges by the courier.
Two weeks later and no word from Sports Direct I Telephoned them again. I sent numerous e-mails and finally got a member of staff at what is laughingly called 'customer service' who said that I had better write in. What did she think all my e-mails were -sanskrit
Can anyone please tell me the difference between an e-mailed letter and a posted letter except that an e-mailed letter is faster.
I wrote over a week ago to Mr Mike Ashley (owner of Sports Direct's) PA - Ms Lauren Rook, with all the complaints. She as yet has not had the courtesy to reply.
Are you all aware that Mr Ashley actaully had the nerve to complain to Trading Standards at the treatment of his company. I wonder is he aware that so many customers of his Internet Shop have hundreds of complaints and don't have the same options. Sports Direct - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AND YOUR COMPANY . I am still waiting for collection of my item and a refund, Has anyone got any ideas?
