Will not be using again

I honestly could not fault the pricing of this company, however I paid for express delivery (24hr) on the 7th April but confirmation stated 9th...however upon ringing their team on the number provided I was told the cut off is 3pm?? And where does it state this through out all the order process?? Nowhere!! It's in a completely separate tab...annoyed is not the word! I've paid 8.99 for NEXT DAY delivery and I'm not getting it...ripped off springs to mind.

Excellent

There are a few mixed reviews on this site, perhaps the company has teething problems? However, my experience was straight forward, easy and my jacket arrived on time. I would try/use them again.

extremely irresponsible.....

My first order in the beginning last year was good-the goods that I had ordered was promptly delivered. However, I was utterly disappointed with my secomd order.
I have offered 2 pair of Asics shoes(both Beyond) last December(2013). The first pair of shoes arrived 2 weeks late but not the 2nd pair-not even after 3 monts later. I have written numerous emails to claim department(I have sent my claims form with my signature as instructed) but no action was taken by the company. I felt like I was like a football being kicked by different players without any direction. My last email sent out 2 week ago received no reply-as if the company doesn't exist anymore.
What kind of company is this?

Excellent service! Do not listen to the others

I have just received my second parcel from Sports Shoes, and I have found their service to be excellent!

I started using Sportsshoes.com because I saw that they stock the Nike Free Run 5.0 running shoes at a whopping £10 cheaper than the Nike store - with a wider selection of IN STOCK colours - absolute saviour. I believe they were also running a free postage service at the time what a bonus!

After receiving my lovely shoes (v. speedy delivery by the way) I was quickly back for Nike Legend 2.0 training tights (decent and cheap but no longer available from Nike) and Nike Pro Sports Bra.... All on average 10% cheaper than the Nike store!

Unfortunately on Thursday night there was a little glitch as I signed up just before purchasing my leggings and sports bra and the transaction went through twice, I called up at 9am on Friday morning and they refunded me first thing on Monday. My things have arrived today (Tuesday) and they are brilliant.

I'm so pleased that I found this website and will inevitably be coming back again soon for more sports bras!

Bad customer service. Don`t wait quick reply via email. Poor information from this seller.

I ordered the pair of running shoes on their site. Because of my carelessness, and poor information during checkout procedure, the size of shoes appeared wrong. I noticed that and immediately send them two emails. Also i filled in the contact form, where i described my problem.On the same day I received the order confirmation and information that my order had been dispatched. Of course nobody changed the size.

After 3 days i received the answer from the customer service team saying: they had looked into this matter for me and they were not able to swap the item in question as this had been dispatched earlier. Ok. Very funny. But after 7 days after so called dispatching there is still "Awaiting Despatch" status in my account on the site and the order status is still open.

I also must mention, that they specify only the size numbers and don`t define shoe-size system in the order confirmation and consumer`s account . So, in the case of receiving of shoes with wrong size, you probably will not be able to prove the mistake.
IMHO, most of positive responses on the site "feefo.com", on which they link, are not from real customers.

UPD:
1) Dear Tom, if you do not advice customers to email you with changes to their order, you must do it before there will be a problem. Obviously, you don`t do it. I am citing here the information from your site:

"Send your email to customerservice@sportsshoes.com or simply fill in the contact form below.
We try to answer your email enquiries as quickly as possible and will respond to all emails within 24 hours. This excludes weekends and bank holidays, when we will reply the next working day."

Excuse me, but where can i see the warning? Please, don`t link to the "Delivery & Returns" page, where you only recommend to contact you by phone.

2) If your company is really interested in supporting of consumers, the best way to provide efficient and fast customer service is "live chat" through the site or messenger. But unfortunately, specialists of "sportsshoes.com" only spend their time for writing such useless messages these days.

Shoes out of stock - money not refunded!!

I was telephoned to say that an item I had ordered in the sale, despite stating as being in stock when ordered on their website, was not in stock in the size I required.

Despite being disappointed, I said this was okay and they told me that my money would be refunded straight away. I paid through paypal - no refund has been issued as yet and the status of the payment is still 'pending'. My card has been charged and the money is being held by paypal because this company will not initiate a refund.

I have telephoned on 2 occasions and the staff state that they will e-mail their IT department to remedy this. Nothing has been done as yet, the order is still stated as being 'open' on their website.

I am disgusted that stock stated as being in stock is not and then the company decide not to issue a refund straight away but instead make customers wait while the money is held by paypal as 'pending'.... DO NOT USE!

Brilliant Service. Never had a single problem

I have ordered umpteen pairs of Saucony trainers from Sportshoes.com and I have never once had a single problem with either delivery or payment. With the amount of orders they are dealing with, of course there will be a few hiccups. If you feel you haven't had a good service from them simple - use another company and stop moaning.

Shocking service

I ordered 5 items from Sportsshoes on a Sunday night. First thing Monday I rang and cancelled 2 of those items. I was told my card had already been charged so I would have to be refunded. I was also told that because I was cancelling items from my order, it meant that the 3 items I was actually keeping would all be delivered separately. Go figure.... Anyway, the 3 items all arrived on different days - a week later. Now, this website charges for delivery. They took the money from my card straight away - how come the items don't arrive for another week?? I had actually needed them for a specific occasion, so as it was I ended up returning them, which created a whole new drama. They don't send out free returns labels apparently, so they said they'd arrange for a courier to come and pick the parcels up, and they'd let me know the day and time. Well, of course they didn't let me know and the poor man from Hermes turned up when I was out. Luckily he left his personal number so I was able to ring him directly and rearrange pickup... I will never ever be using this website again. Throughout the process, the staff were uncommunicative and unhelpful and took days to reply to my numerous emails.

UPDATE: Just when you think the service cannot get any worse, Sports Shoes are claiming they haven't received the items back. The gentleman who commented below and offered to resolve the whole mess personally, has not done so. He told me that even though they'd not received any of the items back, he had gone ahead and refunded me. This is not true. I haven't had a single penny back from them.

Excellent product range, fab prices and great customer service

I used to visit the actual shop in Bradford before they had to close it down and started trading just online. Always had a great selection of running gear at very competitive prices. Nothing has changed there...
Bought a pair of trail shoes for my partner and had to return them as they were too large. Called customer service who were very friendly and helpful. They advised that if I needed the new sized trainers quickly I was best to make another order and then send the other pair back for a refund - so took this advice. The new trainers arrived next day as promised and now just waiting for my refund. The trainers look great, and so much cheaper than anywhere else online. So far great service. I will update if I have any issues receiving my refund. I was told it would be within 72 hours of them receiving the old shoes back! So fingers crossed this is what happens.

Fast & good!

I found this store online (an online shop), and placed my order. Afterwards, I found all these reviews, and they made me a bit nervous.
Despite the negative experience shared here, I had my asics sports shoes delivered fast, and they are really comfy.

Excellent sports apparel store! Highly recommended!

Excellent website. Ordered a pair of shoes on 27 December and received them in Greece on 31 December, right before New Year's eve!!! Amazing. Free shipping within Europe when paying in Euro and the best prices available online. Their product selection is excellent and you can find amazing deals for previous season shoes! Highly recommended store.

Glad I chanced it...

Having read some of the reviews on here I was anxious to say the least. I decided to chance it, because the trainers I ordered would've cost at least twice the price elsewhere and I had never seen anyone wearing them before. I'm glad that I did.

The ordering process was quick and simple. The website accepts paypal so I felt a bit more secure about my order. I received an order confirmation within a few minutes and a dispatch email confirmation with tracking details a few hours later (I chose next day delivery). The goods didn't arrive with me next day but as I live on a UK offshore island I didn't expect that they would. They did however arrive on island next day and are to be delivered later today.

I am incredibly happy with this website and whilst I cannot support or deny claims that their customer service is terrible, I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends.

There is a part of me that does wonder if the products are genuine though... if it seems too good to be true - it usually is.

Please note that my comments are of my own personal experience, please form your own opinions and shop with this supplier if you deem it reasonable to do so.

Fast delivery and great price

Tried on some shoes at my local running shop, but they were uber expensive so I had a look online which is when came across this site. The shoes I was after were a whole £40.00 cheaper than in the local shop so I ordered them immediately. Shortly after I placed the order I realised I hadn't checked if they were the correct width fitting so I called them to ask. A lady answered the phone and was very helpful in checking for me and confirmed that they were indeed the size I needed. Shoes arrived within just a few days and are fantastic. Would definitely use again and have recommended to family and friends.

ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC!!!!

First things first, the prices on this site are hard to match anywhere, As an avid runner I am always on the look out for great gear at great prices and sportshoes.com always comes out trumps, even with hefty discount rates at other stores. So that's reason enough right, along with the prompt delivery of goods.
Secondly having made an order but ordering the wrong size and color, but losing the receipt the company where more than happy to do an exchange easily. Not only this but they rang to confirm this and also whilst on the phone where walking round the store room finding the prefect size and color scheme. You cant really ask or better customer service from an online store.
There also easy to use, even my mum can use the site!
All round goodness really!

Dont believe their stock levels

I ordered a pair of trainers in stock and a few other smaller items. The smaller items got despatched, and then a few days later I got an email stating that my trainers were OOS.

They were still marked in stock on their website, however I logged in and selected another model.

These were also out of stock.

The second pair as I type are still in stock on the website, but I got a further email stating that both were out of stock.

I sent one last email to the company, asking if two further models were in stock, if not then to refund me and I would return the smaller items.

I have heard nothing since, they sent me a pair of trainers which I did not know what they were until they turned up, and they are the wrong ones. Who knows perhaps I made a typo when I submitted some of the product codes, but an email from themselves asking me to confirm which of either pair would have been nice.

I am returning all items, will never order from this lot again, and will likely never again see what I have paid for delivery, nor what I will have to pay for the return of goods.

Morale of the story - stick with a reputable company/high street shop.

Perfect!

I ordered a pair of Asics running shoes . Last year's model, but still at a way better price than I could find anywhere else. Shipment to Denmark was free, and I was given two dates in which between my order would arrive. Today, a week before the first (!) given date, I got my parcel - such a nice surprise! The product was great, and I'll definately order from Sportsshoes again.

Shockingly poor!

Ordered various items and paid £12 for Saturday 21st delivery, received confirmation email that my goods would be arriving on said date. No goods arrived (it is now Tuesday 24th) rang the company to ask for refund of the said £12 and they told me the order was made after the cut off point (despite this cut off point not being mentioned in the checkout of the site OR in the confirmation email) and what I have paid for is just for the goods to be delivered on A Saturday (althought it specifies SATURDAY 21ST)! Also no response to initial complaint email. Still no refund rewarded or items received, I will be taking this further and confirming my rights on this matter with trading standards.

ADVARSEL: Lad VÆRE med at handle med Sportsshoes.com

På deres danske hjemmeside - www.sportsshoes.com/dk - lover Sportsshoes gratis levering i Europa. De nævner IKKE nogen begrænsninger i beløb der skal bestilles for.

Så jeg besluttede mig til at bestille 2 pakker af 3 par Nike-sokker som jeg ikke har kunnet finde i Danmark i min størrelse. Når man bestiller bliver man sendt videre til deres engelske hjemmeside, hvor der så ikke længere er gratis levering.

Jeg bestilte alligevel - og fik leveret de forkerte sokker den 23. august . Jeg skrev til dem samme dag, og modtog en mail retur: Om jeg ville sende dem billeder der viste fejlen til en anden e-mail-adresse, så det gjorde jeg.

Da jeg den 30. august stadig ikke havde hørt noget som helst skrev jeg til dem igen og fik besked at de ikke kunne se billederne i den mail jeg havde sendt til dem. Hvorfor de ikke havde skrevet retur og fortalt mig det, står hen i det uvisse.

Jeg sendte billederne igen den 2. september, og en uge senere havde jeg stadig ikke hørt noget.

Jeg sendte derfor en rykker den 9. september og spurgte hvorfor jeg stadig ikke havde hørt noget fra dem, og fik et par dage efter svaret, at de havde mange mails men at de ville vende tilbage. Det er nu næsten to uger siden

Jeg har i dag, den 22. september stadig INTET hørt fra dem og har derfor sendt dem en sidste rykker som jeg egentlig ikke har nogen som helst forventning om at de vil reagere på heller.

Der kan simpelthen ikke være nogen rimelig forklaring på, at de - en måned efter min første henvendelse, og efter flere mails, herunder 2 med billeder der viser problemet - stadig ignorerer min henvendelse.

Jeg kan derfor kun på det kraftigste FRARÅDE alle der overvejer at handle med Sportsshoes.com at gøre det. De har simpelthen den ringeste kundeservice jeg kan huske at jeg har været udsat for, ved online-handel.

Og til Trustpilot, for det tilfælde at Sportsshoes.com påstår at jeg aldrig har handlet hos dem er her ordrenummeret: ORDER NUMBER: 7334430.
