I ordered a pair of trainers in stock and a few other smaller items. The smaller items got despatched, and then a few days later I got an email stating that my trainers were OOS.
They were still marked in stock on their website, however I logged in and selected another model.
These were also out of stock.
The second pair as I type are still in stock on the website, but I got a further email stating that both were out of stock.
I sent one last email to the company, asking if two further models were in stock, if not then to refund me and I would return the smaller items.
I have heard nothing since, they sent me a pair of trainers which I did not know what they were until they turned up, and they are the wrong ones. Who knows perhaps I made a typo when I submitted some of the product codes, but an email from themselves asking me to confirm which of either pair would have been nice.
I am returning all items, will never order from this lot again, and will likely never again see what I have paid for delivery, nor what I will have to pay for the return of goods.
Morale of the story - stick with a reputable company/high street shop.
I ordered a pair of Asics running shoes . Last year's model, but still at a way better price than I could find anywhere else. Shipment to Denmark was free, and I was given two dates in which between my order would arrive. Today, a week before the first (!) given date, I got my parcel - such a nice surprise! The product was great, and I'll definately order from Sportsshoes again.
Ordered various items and paid £12 for Saturday 21st delivery, received confirmation email that my goods would be arriving on said date. No goods arrived (it is now Tuesday 24th) rang the company to ask for refund of the said £12 and they told me the order was made after the cut off point (despite this cut off point not being mentioned in the checkout of the site OR in the confirmation email) and what I have paid for is just for the goods to be delivered on A Saturday (althought it specifies SATURDAY 21ST)! Also no response to initial complaint email. Still no refund rewarded or items received, I will be taking this further and confirming my rights on this matter with trading standards.

Så jeg besluttede mig til at bestille 2 pakker af 3 par Nike-sokker som jeg ikke har kunnet finde i Danmark i min størrelse. Når man bestiller bliver man sendt videre til deres engelske hjemmeside, hvor der så ikke længere er gratis levering.
Jeg bestilte alligevel - og fik leveret de forkerte sokker den 23. august . Jeg skrev til dem samme dag, og modtog en mail retur: Om jeg ville sende dem billeder der viste fejlen til en anden e-mail-adresse, så det gjorde jeg.
Da jeg den 30. august stadig ikke havde hørt noget som helst skrev jeg til dem igen og fik besked at de ikke kunne se billederne i den mail jeg havde sendt til dem. Hvorfor de ikke havde skrevet retur og fortalt mig det, står hen i det uvisse.
Jeg sendte billederne igen den 2. september, og en uge senere havde jeg stadig ikke hørt noget.
Jeg sendte derfor en rykker den 9. september og spurgte hvorfor jeg stadig ikke havde hørt noget fra dem, og fik et par dage efter svaret, at de havde mange mails men at de ville vende tilbage. Det er nu næsten to uger siden
Jeg har i dag, den 22. september stadig INTET hørt fra dem og har derfor sendt dem en sidste rykker som jeg egentlig ikke har nogen som helst forventning om at de vil reagere på heller.
Der kan simpelthen ikke være nogen rimelig forklaring på, at de - en måned efter min første henvendelse, og efter flere mails, herunder 2 med billeder der viser problemet - stadig ignorerer min henvendelse.
Jeg kan derfor kun på det kraftigste FRARÅDE alle der overvejer at handle med Sportsshoes.com at gøre det. De har simpelthen den ringeste kundeservice jeg kan huske at jeg har været udsat for, ved online-handel.
Og til Trustpilot, for det tilfælde at Sportsshoes.com påstår at jeg aldrig har handlet hos dem er her ordrenummeret: ORDER NUMBER: 7334430.

Just ordered some trainers and spoke to an advisor (think he said his name was Brad) who to me appeared a little impatient - I have an online account but had not yet added the address so he just said "there's no account" - I was actually logged in and looking at it and when I told him this he repeated "there's no account under that post code"... anyway, I asked him if I could place an order over the phone - he did this, but all the while it felt like I was an inconvenience. I felt I did not have time provided for me to ask any questions or go off process, if you get my drift...
I asked if the trainers could be delivered next day and he asked for my 16 digit number from the card - again, felt like I was interrupting his flow - but I went with it and gave him the details. Then I asked if he had put them on next day delivery. He said "that's already been expedited" as if I was asking an unnecessary question... feeling rushed, I let him leave the call and thanked him for placing the order. I then rang back as he had not mentioned any price for the expedited delivery - Verity answered and I gave my order number and she confirmed it was on fast order and that it was £8.99. Again, it felt a little less than warm... Great website and great products and (though they have no idea) I have been a customer of this business for over ten years. Not impressed with the respect for their customers and given there are 20,000 reviews (which will be only a percentage of customers) on line they must be raking in cash. Might I suggest the owner invests some of this back into customer service - how to speak to customers, patience, care and flexibility (go where the customer wants - don't marshall them to where you want to go), the importance of customer satisfaction in building sustainable sales and therefore long term jobs for them! If I were asked the 'net promoter question' "would you recommend to a friend?" I would score a 6 - which for those who are not familiar is not a promotion of the company!!! If I had been serviced in a more friendly, warm and flexible manner - given the history I have of buying great products and being serviced well in the past when they had a store - I would have scored a 10! I hope you all and the company see this as a good company with good potential, but let's make it feel better shall we?
Having arranged for next day delivery and with 6 people in the house, the delivery company DPD failed to knock - oh, and my dogs would have heard as well, so my trainers were not delivered... HOWEVER, in contrast to yesterday's experience, I called Sportsshoes.com to see if they could help - Tom answered; a pleasant chap who was only too keen to help - he rand DPD and kept me informed of their attempts to contact the driver to see if he could return if still in the area and what I needed to do according to DPD to get to the Leeds Depot between 6 and 7pm.
Tom was what customer services should be across the board with the rest of the team - so... invest in training and use Tom as an example of existing good practice! Reward him!
I just want to share my experience about sportsshoes.com. Everybody BE AWARE!
Shipping charges substantially are NOT FREE and here is why:
I made an order of a pair of running shoes to send it to me in Greece. They, as a company, claim that they offer Free Shipping for orders up to 40 euros. The pair of shoes cost £49.99 which, the moment I made the order, I checked the currency and in Euros it was 60 euros. They charged me 67,49 Euros for the shoes while supposedly should have charged me 60 euros according to the currency and Free shipping in European countries.
They have the cheapest compression around, compared to OZ stores.
Delivery was free and quick. No problem at all.
Just a product dissatisfaction with the product that I bought which was the Nike Hyperstrong Compression tights. The seam tore right after the first try, dont buy this product guys. Very inelastic material

i ordered my first running shoes on May the 11th. after 17 working days they told me the parcel got lost. I ask for the shipping of the same item but it was out of stock. eventually they offer me a new pair at the original price i first paid.
today is the delivery date for the second parcel and they told me even the second parcel got lost.
they only offer me a refund (after a month and a half)

I bought 3 items, at an amazing price, all in the Sale too.
I then managed to find a discount code for them. The delivery was fast, and there was plenty of information how to track my stuff.
I ordered more items about 2 weeks later, and forgot to use the discount code, I called them up and they were more than happy to apply the discount code, as you don't actually charge the card until your items are dispatched.
I wouldn't have any reservations to use this company again, brilliant on all accounts.
I ordered 3 things from Sportsshoes and waited on them being delivered after 7 days and no goods I contacted them and was told to wait after 10 days and still no goods I contacted them again and they informed me that my goods had been stolen at a Hermes depot but they would post them out next day delivery 2 days later no goods another phone call and another next day delivery promise next day 2 out of 3 of the goods came and another phone call to cancel the 3rd item. A great company badly let down by having the worst customer service I have ever experienced on line.

Jeg har nu handlet hos www.sportsshoes.com tre gange og har aldrig haft problemer. Det svinger lidt hvor hurtigt man får leveret sine varer, men det er mit indtryk at det er begyndt at gå hurtigere. Seneste levering tog fem dage.
Jeg har ikke haft behov for at returnere noget eller klage over et køb, så det kan jeg ikke udtale mig om.
Men deres priser er rigtig gode (man sparer typisk 30-50% i forhold til priserne i Danmark), søgemulighederne er også gode og leveringen er hurtig nok. Bemærk at der er gratis levering hvis man ændrer valutaen fra £ til €.
Recently used the site to buy a running gilet and they price matched a price I found on another store.
Good service and delivery was quick.
Only friction was that they only price match over the phone and not through allocating a special one-use discount code to use on their website.
I ordered shoes on the 4th of the month. I got a confirmation that the order was placed.
10 days later I got an email saying there was a problem with my order and they had tried to contact me but "there was a problem with my telephone number".
Concerned, I checked the number I had given. Nothing wrong yet I had no missed calls and no voicemail messages. I rang their number and left a detailed message (it was now after they had closed) with my number and the order reference, expecting them to call back the next morning. Just to be sure I also emailed them the same night.
The response I got. None.
So in summary They are unable to dial numbers, return calls or answer email.
Imagine you had a problem AFTER a purchase......
My advice: Stay VERY VERY Far Away from this crowd.

This is the first time I've bought footwear online, but I needed a new pair of trainers so I gave sportsshoes.com a go. I found the site easy to navigate and within a few clicks I had a shortlist of trainers which I thought would be suitable for me. I bought a pair of the ASICS GT-2160 and after carrying out a quick search on prices, I found Sportsshoes.com to be the most competitive. Within 3 working days of placing my order, the trainers arrived, and they are fantastic.

I have never submitted an online review of a company, but I literally couldn't believe how incompetent this company was.
Despite submitting two price match requests through their website (apparently they deleted the first one) and discussing the matter over e-mail with four different representatives, I am still not able to buy some trainers from them.
Assuming that their after-sales service is as good as their pre-sales service, I would urge you to look elsewhere for your purchase.
Jeg bestilte et par Saucony Triumph 8 til 600,- under prisen i Danmark.
Varen ankom i fin stand fire arbejdsdage efter bestilling, så ingen problemer her.
Jeg kan læse andre anmeldelser om problemer med service ifm. ombytning eller reklamation. De sendte de rigtige sko, så må vi se om de holder :-)

Impressed by the price and the range so ordered a pair of trainers from their website on the 8 June 2011 at 09:08. Received an email on confirming the goods were shipped on 9 June 2011 15:24 and given a tracking number. Despite several emails to them and fob off from their courier company, Hermes, I am still waiting to receive the goods! It is now the 20 June 2011! 3-4 days offerred on postage.... that is a laugh. My advice, don't bother wasting your time with this store. There are other sites out there with far better reviews.

I bought a pair of women's running shoes. To find the UK size I use their size-guide. Of course I looked at the women's guide since it was women's shoes. Then I get the shoes and guess what they are 1.5 sizes too big.
I wonder and therefore compares with the male size guide on the website and guess what, it matched the size of my shoe size in both UK and EU sizes. Which means that I should have looked at male size-guide instead. How would i possibly know?
I would have liked to change the shoes to the right size and therefore writes to them about the mistake and I liked it changed, free of course since it is their fault.
But I get just a flippant reply that their guide is accurate, I can change them but I have to pay the cost.
Then I think, maybe I expressed myself unclear and writes again that I don't agree, and trying again to explain that i won't pay the cost since it is their mistake. But they don't reply my emails now...
