Team T-Shirt Fell Apart

Ordered several types of tshirts all with the same design for a 5K race. The graphics on my shirt fell off in less than an hour. I contacted Spreadshirt via email and seemed to be passed from person to person with every reply. Now, they have simply stopped replying at all and the issue is still unresolved. I was offered an exchange of the shirt which is useless since the race is over. I was then offered a refund but only if I paid to ship the shirt back. I have no desire to spend even more on a useless shirt and am simply tired of the terrible customer service they seem to have.

False Advertising of Graphic Sizes, Inconsistent Quality

I have ordered dozens and dozens of shirts from Spreadshirt. At first I was pretty happy with the outcome of my designs. Then I began to realize how muted the colors were printing. I called to find out that American Apparel shirts print better (not mentioned anywhere on the site that I could find, so there went hundreds of dollars on muddy graphic tees). So I then began printing only on American Apparel and got more aggressive with my designs: the designer lets you add more than 1 graphic with a Huge print area that covers nearly the entire front of the shirt! Looks AWESOME in the designer, which charges you double because (according to customer service) the shirt has to be run through the printer more than once to add the second or third graphics, Understandable. Spreadshirt allows you to review the graphics on your created product, which also summarizes the dimensions of each graphic used on the shirt. In one case, the top graphic was detailed at 13.4" x 14.2" and the bottom graphic was 6" x 4". When I received the actual product, the graphics had been SHRUNKUN WAYYYYY down, to approx 8" x 9" and the bottom graphic was roughly the original size. So although Spreadshirt charges for the additional print since "it has to be run through the printer a second time" the production team is actually shrinking oversized graphics to avoid a second print and combine the two print sessions into one print session, while still charging for the second print, therefore pocketing more money and only providing what could have been accomplished with one smaller print. WHAT'S THE POINT IN ALLOWING LARGE GRAPHICS ON AN HUGE PRINT AREA IF YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO SHRINK THEM?????

On several websites I see Spreadshirt revered as having the "largest printable workspace on the web" really? Well what they show on the website is one thing, but are they actually delivering this to the customer? NO!!!

I have been going back and forth with customer service for nearly a month to try and have my graphics printed correctly, but how much more accurate can I get when the product review provides the exact dimension of each graphic and the designer shows the precise positioning???? It is not a matter of what I am designing, but what Spreadshirt is refusing to produce. Their team is either lazy, doesn't care, or simply incompetent that they cannot look at the product details that even the customer can see, reference the design dimensions, and print. Then reposition, and print a second graphic. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!

I have concluded that Spreadshirt is probably making loads of extra money on customers who just say nothing or don't realize that what the designer shows is not what you get at all.

I see there is a Spreadshirt rep on here to apologize and give thanks, well what exactly are you going to do about the disconnect between what I specify on my orders, what I see as the product and design details, and what your team is actually let ship out of the door?????

I can tell you this much, if nothing continues to be done, I smell a class action law suit on the basis of false advertising and failure to deliver a service as detailed on your website. How many customers does Spreadshirt have? How many shirts does it ship? How many times has Spreadshirt combined graphics and shrunken them without the customer realizing and double or triple charged the customer for printing when they only print once? Simple math tells me this issue could be a big problem if brought to light. Well let this post be a match in the pitch black. Let's see where it goes.

Excellent concept and good customer experience

I received the t-shirt I ordered in excellent condition 10 days after the transaction.
4 stars because the color shown on the website doesn't match exactly the actual color (light blue), but the loss in vividness is slight enough not to be considered as an issue.
I can't tell about the design durability, but it boasts a good quality at first glance.
I will consider ordering other items from this company in the future.

This Company Rips you off

I just ordered from them right now but I already do not like this company. The only reason why I ordered from them was because they had a design I liked. I work for a company and I know what shipping options are and prices. Sending a Tshirt using UPS to USPS should not be that expensive and it takes much longer. Their free option and their standard delivery are nearly the same.

Then they give you the option of PREMIUM shipping which is USPS First Class. Now I use USPS first class at work and I know the shipping on that ranges from $1.5 - $5.00 MAX in the USA anything over 13 ounces will be sent Priority mail. Now I shipped 2 shirts before and I know how much it weighs... It definitely will not be priority mail and FIRST CLASS should NOT BE $16.00 FOR 2 T-SHIRTS.

Now I still have to see what the quality of the T-shirts will be but they better be good. Cause 2 shirts at 54 dollars and 16 dollar shipping which made me pay $70 it better be damn good. You overprice your shirts and you over price your shipping to make extra. The amount u charge for your so called premium USPS FIRST CLASS SHIPPING which only costs $2.00 - 2.50 , I can probably ship 7 more items. And to be honest you guys probably already made all your money back with your ridiculous shipping prices.

Pathetic

Very disappointed! I spent $27 on a T-shirt that had only one line of print, with the biggest word on it misspelled! My invoice and the description of the shirt had the word "SARCASTIC" spelled correctly, but the shirt read "SACASTIC." Instead of offering a correctly printed shirt or refund, their response was I could receive a 25% off coupon to purchase another item from them, or pay to send it back and exchange it for something different. Worse yet, instead of taking initiative to ensure they are offering a quality product, they suggested I e-mail their contact for that design to advise them of the misspelled word. In short: POOR PRODUCT, POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Allowed me to pay for non-existent shipping option

I placed an order for a custom bag for an office event on 5/9/13 and selected (and paid for) priority/premium shipping so I would definitely receive it by 5/17/13 for an office event. On 5/13/13 I received notification that it had shipped. Plenty of time still left for it to come before the event. On 5/17/13, 4 days after it shipped, the office event came around and we still didn't have the prize I ordered.

On 5/18/13, after the event was well and over with and the bag still hadn't come, I called Spreadshirt to see what the issue was. I was told that their priority mail shipping hadn't started yet (and wouldn't start until Wednesday) and so they had shipped it standard mail, and I'd receive it Wednesday. Wow, good catch, Spreadshirt, letting me pay for and expect a shipping that wasn't even "live" yet. I'm sure you would have refunded the charge for priority mail if I hadn't called.

You get what you pay for

Spreadshirt is cheaper than many oer custom shirt compaies online or loca if you are only buyin 1 or a few. Their color and design choices are somehwat limited.some of hte colors of tees are kinda ugly even. they need more shades of basic colors like green and orange and blue and gray. the design program on the site is easier to use than vistaprint or other sites which is good for a beginner or a quick and easy buy if you just want a word or phrase or pcture..nothing fancy. Their return policy is great, its nice to be able to swap if the shirt ends up being the wrong size as its hard to know until you try it on.

BEWARE....DIDN'T RECEIVE MY ORDER IN TIME AFTER PAYING $53.99 FOR SHIPPING!!!!!!!

I ordered Tshirts for a group on 3/12/13 and we opted to pay $53.99 (not sure why so expensive for a 2# package) to ensure delivery in time for Friday, 3/15. I never received any follow-up from the company until 3/14 in the evening saying everything shipped out on 3/12/13. I opted for tracking info via text message and when I didn't receive anything on it by late Friday afternoon, I started to call UPS. Finally found out that my package was never received by UPS until after 8 p.m. on Friday evening and it was 3+ hours away from me. So disappointed to have picked out awesome shirts for our group to wear to the St. Patty's Day festivities and then to have to drive around like crazy people trying to find shirts locally for us. I finally received the package on Monday, 3/18. While the company agreed to refund my $53.99 shipping costs, they were only willling to give me a 25% OFF coupon for a future purchase. This was unacceptable. I asked to have my merchandise discounted since I have to keep it for a year to be used again. I was told the only other option was to return the shipment and they would credit my card once they receive the shipment back. After demanding that I get the return postage paid, they emailed me a postage-paid shipping label to return them back. I dropped the package off at the Post Office yesterday so I will await to see if my card is credited back the full amount I was charged! Again, we must have been crazy to agree to pay $53.99 for overnight shipping of a 2# package...but that raised my expectations of thinking that I would have them WITHOUT A DOUBT. Ummmm....not the case! Will never buy from this company again!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

I was extremly impressed and will be a returning customer!

After reading all the bad reviews, I was worried about using this company. But, the low prices and really cool designs (and ALL the options) convinced me to order from them. It shipped a few days earlier than expected, and came out absolutely amazing! The shirt and sweatshirt fit me PERFECTLY, and the shirt I made for my boyfriend fit him just as well! I was VERY impressed, I actually ordered a size up in the shirt (just like the description instructed on their site) and it couldn't have been a more perfect fit, which surprised me.
I loved this site so much I showed my parents and their friends when they came for dinner! I will absolutely be returning to Spreadshirt anytime I need (or want to) make something custom. You guys are the best! Proud to say I'm a customer!!

No Bueno

I ordered a sweatshirt for my husband to be here by 2/1, around the beginning of January. I called after about 15 days later and they said the shirt was on its way back, when I asked why they said my husband's name wasn't on the address. They didn't call to reship until 1/31, so I suspect I won't get the sweatshirt until march. If it goes back again, I don't want it. The issue is my husband's other mail seems to get to our home fine. Customer service wasn't that great either. I should have listened to the reviews.

Not Acceptable!

This hoodie costed me almost 100 dollars, but I will not be able to use it. First of all, the size is so wrong. I got a Medium which I ordered, but their sizes are so incorrect. The sleeves are 5 times bigger than my arm, and I do have a normal size arm, but the lenght of the arm is almost too small. whats up with that? and it's the completely same at the stomach of the shirt. It's way too wide, but still too short.

Secondly, the colours were not the colours as they show on the website. First of all, it looks completely different from the website, and also the grey colour i wanted, was glitz, and it looks like a hoodie for girls now.. and also the quality of the hoodie was terrible..

I can not recommend this company at all, sorry!

Smart not to make your customers to feel like an idiot.

Haven't received the T-shirt from this company yet, however I'll be looking for a different company to place my future orders with. I had a question about a return/credit and the guy on the other end of the line spoke to me as if I was an idiot. As a business owner, it is a priority to make sure that my customers feel valued. Will do business elsewhere.

great prices and super easy checkout

Wow! What a great website. I found a shirt I liked on another site for $31 but found it here for jus $16! Plus, Spreadshirt had more color and size options. I added it to my cart and checked out in under a minute! It was super easy. I'll definitely be shopping here again!

Fantastic Company

I designed a custom order shirt for myself back in October. I received the shirt a few days before Hurricane Sandy hit my area. I've received many compliments on my shirt and it washes very well. I've just designed a different shirt for a friend. I would highly recommend Spreadshirt to anyone.

I did not receive the first shirt that they sent out. Not sure what happened but all I had to as wait a little longer than usual and they sent me out a new shirt. I have no complaints my daughter is happy and it was for her so I am happy... Thanks

Never got the shirt

I ordered the shirt and even though the address was good in the system it printed it wrong for shipping and was returned and I never got the shirt. What use is it to spend money for shipping when the company is going to only ship it to the post office for delivery.....I found another site http://www.customink.com/ which was much better and more importantly I got the shirt.

Now they are lying. My order was shipped to the post office with the wrong address (not my fault) and now it has been sent back to them and now they say they will ship it out again, to the post office no doubt. You pay for shipping and they ship it to the post office for the Mailman to deliver it. I had an organization of 500 and we were going to order multiple shirts but I could not get one shirt. So I went with Customink.com. Customink has delivered my one shirt and the first order of 200 shirts has arrived and I am still waiting on the one shirt ordered through Spreadshirt. I will not recommend this company to anyone and I wish I could give negative stars. -5 stars.

Not Impressed - Disappointed

I ordered a T-Shirt and Hoodie with my business logo on it. The quality of the print of the logo was terrible. It was very drab and the gray color was a pinkish tone to it. That is an indicator that the printer is not in calibration with the computer. I know this because I am a pro photographer and it's happened to me before when printing. I was so disappointed I wanted my $ back, but they said no and that the image that I sent in was low resolution. That isn't true because the image was clear & sharp, it was the coloring that was off. That has nothing to do with resolution, like I said before, that's a calibration issue. I had another company that did my shirts before and the color was fine and I gave them the same image. So, I have to question the response and know that it is just an excuse. I have no choice but to have them reprinted again. Not a happy customer to say the least.

This service is simply supereb it is theoretically oozing with SWAG

Its was great I forgot to hand in the money for my class sweat shirt so I decided to go online and make one and after having difficult with their services I found spreadshirt. No on;y did they have a larger array of designs allowing me optimize my apparel to the limits of my imagination but the hoodie was of fantastic quality as well. There tools to help you make your design flawless. After completing my order i noticed the price was substantially lower then what I was previously planning to spend at a competitors. The making and arrival were faster then I thought. Today I wear my hoodie with pride, several classmates including the class president asked if thats our class hooded sweatshirt. Well all in all its become a member of my wardrobe which scream "swag" and gets the ladies to smile and compliment me. Everyone wants one of what i customized on this site. I will be a returning customer possibly in bulk for school/sports/ect.

Great idea for short but not happy with shirt itself

I was having a hard time figuring out a shirt for my 12 years old costume as a nerd so I thought why not make one.... The idea was great but the T shirt size for a classic T wasn't very good.... The idea of a classic T on the website showed something different that what I think I saw... It is alittle tight on my daughter but didn't have time to send it back since Halloween is this week and I got it last week and ordered it the week before. Just make sure that you get the right type Tshirt cus the classic T is not true to size... But will do business with them again just another type shirt.

sizes and colors are wrong

Great concept. The shirts we ordered for our soccer team for a theme oriented tournament
turned out to be not the correct sizes for about half the team. I called to confirm the color before I ordered the custom design bumble bee shirts with a yellow that turned out to be gold and does not match the rest of the costumes which is a bummer. Unfortunately, they were custom ordered and have their numbers on them so we're stuck as we don't have the budget to order another 16 shirts. So go up a size with the womens shirts if you plan to order.

Great place to design the shirt I wanted.

Colors and sizes are what I was looking for. The custom design was very easy to use. The custom design prices were very fair. The existing design prices were a little high.

Watch shirt sizes ladies!!

I measured myself to make sure the shirt would fit. I vary between medium and small when it comes to t-shirts. Needless to say, the medium I ordered was more like an extra small better fit for a toddler than a fitted t-shirt. So, just watch that. Otherwise, the screen printing was perfect! Too bad I can't wear the t-shirt until I weigh 70 pounds and shop in the little girl's section again.

very satisfied with small issues

I ordered a shirt and hoodie for my two year old, love the design station! Everything came out EXACTLY like I designed it....to the T. I was bothered by the time to receive the products. I didn't think I would get them in time and I ordered almost the weeks in advance. When I called I was told there was a problem during quality control and was redone, but no one emailed me to let me know what was going on, there was no communication. I appreciate their fixing the mistake but I was worried a week BEFORE his birthday. I got them the week Of

Disappointed

Image was great but shirt quality was terrible. Way too big for my daughter. I order a medium and it was like an XL on her. It was her bachlorette shirt. I had to cut the image off and buy a new shirt and attache the image to the new shirt ;(

Photo May Not Represent Actual Item

I absolutely will NEVER use this site again. The shirt I ordered was the wrong color, wrong print color, poor quality and took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. Spreadshirts idea of red is a dark maroon. Their "white print" is very close to black, leading the design illegible on the shirt. And the screenprinting is about half the size shown online. I feel taken advantage of.

Loved the shirts! Great quality! Have washed them a few times now and still look good as new! The customized shirt I uploaded an image to looked even better than I thought it would! And I get comments on all the other shirts I've purchased from the "political" and "philosophy" section that always makes me laugh. Even had a full elevator full of people talking about the one that said "government censorship, protecting you from reality" lol. great jobs guys!!!

Great quality, great pricing! I ordered sweatpants with writing down a full leg, and the print came out slightly larger than I expected from the mock-up (which made me even happier, because it spans the entire leg!).

This is a genius website! You can setup your own T-shirt Shop, and sell custom T-shirts, and it wont cost you a thing! Spreadshirt makes sure to print and send to the person who ordered, so you just gotta sit back and let the money roll in!

Better options and service elsewhere

The quality of the printing is not top notch(have had better results at inkgarden and zazzle). Logo uploaded color varied from the letters that were use for team name. Letters look like they're going to come off after a wash or two(as is confirmed by prior review by someone else).

Do not like return policy...there isn't one...it's an EXCHANGE policy. The product isn't what I want, yet I have to keep it-or buy more of the same. Zazzle gives you a refund on products.

Will not recommend or do business with them again.

Custom Shirt Letters Coming Off

I ordered two custom shirts from this company paying a fairly high price believing this would be a quality product. I actually found other websites that were cheaper, but i believe you get what you pay for. After wearing one of the shirts the first time and washing it, a couple of the letters are already peeling off. I am very disappointed in the product. I would recommend to use another company if you are ordering any time of custom shirt, but this may be true with all of there shirts.
