My wife drives the car and pays the bills although it is reg in my name. She was happy with the service but had to wait a bit when she picked it up
One thing that surprised me was a quote for 3years service almost £1000 paid over 33 months in advance this will save me a lot of money. This is quite a shock and will be taken into mind when or if we continue to have a 2nd car.
car not cleaned properly, was told it had blue tooth connectivity which it aint, bulb missing out of boot lamp, black gromets left out of cover under the bonnet.
The customer service, both on the phone with the central booking team, and at the service desk in the garage at Thirsk is excellent: warm, informative and friendly, without any excessive sales pressure.
The mechanics are also always very friendly and I am always more than satisfied with the work carried out on my car. The service plan is an excellent way to help manage the costs of car upkeep - I remain a very satisfied customer. Thank you!
I have just taken delivery of my fantastic Volvo C30 2L everytime I drive it I smile.
All the staff at Volvo Stoneacre Lincoln were very friendly and helpful. They listened to what I said I wanted and made suggestions of what car would suit me. They got it spot on. There was no hard sell just constructive advice & information. Nothing was too much trouble and within three days I was driving my shiney new car out of the showroom. I even got a cuddle from the sales manager (that was five star too!)
It was easy to make the telephone booking and they were able to carry out the service on the day I requested. I didn't have to wait to be served when I arrived at the garage, I was dealt with straight away.They rang to say the car was ready at the time they said it would be and the staff member explained everything to me and informed me of other benefits eg breakdown cover.
This was my second visit to stone acre in Doncaster, & I have to say can not fault the company, very friendly with no problems what so ever . I even got a courtesy call after my visit to make sure everything was satisfactory .
Definatley would use again and recommend.

The service was friendly and helpful, there was plenty of choice and I took a test drive without anyone coming with me which allowed me to make my own judgement without any pressure. On returning a deal was made with my car as PX ,it was so simple . there was no pressure to take out any warranty or other packages. I picked my new car up in excellent condition and am now enjoying my car.
I have bought from them before and will do so again, a fast ,easy and pleasant way to buy a car

I recently purchased a new, to me, car from Stoneacre. I must say the service and respect shown to me was excellent . From the sale through to aftercare I as the customer remained the main focus. Unlike some other dealers whose customer service appears to be from the Stoneage!
I would certainly recommend a visit if you are looking to change your car........which by the way I think are good all round value.
My only criticism was the free coffee was served in a plastic cup!

The staff at Stonacre didn't bother us when we told them we were just looking and would ask for help if required. We were left to wander and look around and this was one reason we went back. Once we had seen the car we wanted they were very helpful and kowledgeable answering any questions we asked. We were given a lot of good advice - in my opinion - and not once given the hard sell. It was overall a very enjoyable experience for buying our first new car. The real test will be aftersales but if they deliver what they promised then that should make owing our new car as easy and enjoyable as buying it.
We found them very helpful in advising what was the best vehicle for our needs and they did their best to get us a good deal.

The service i have received last week was excellent could not fault the service i received.
I put a deposit on a vehicle relying on the salesman's description, as I live 4hrs away from the Stoneacre garage. When I travelled down and viewed the vehicle I was not disappointed, the sales person was very helpful and professional, I was soon on the return journey home, and very pleased with the service I received.

Stoneacre Volvo at Lincoln made me immediately feel at home with warm and friendly greeting which felt genuine. their staff were brilliant from the start. very knowledgeable ( a welcome change) they knew their stuff. I negotiated what i felt was a very fair deal and felt i could trust the people with whom i dealt. the car was delivered on time turned out properly (again a nice change) and aftersales so far has been brilliant. i understand a new showroom is planned, i do hope nothing changes with the way things are done. an absolutely brilliant experience which made my recent dealings with my new and now part exchanged Range Rover Evoque feel distinctly very second rate, that's the car and the dealership. In a world where trust is in shoort supply - and you feel that most organisations are trying to rip you off - Stoneacre has restored my faith in Car Dealerships. Everything has always been handled without fault. Some places 'pretend' to be nice to you but there has never been a trace of false kindness in my experience with the Stoneacre staff. Next time I buy a car or need to get one serviced - why would I want to go anywhere else?
Today I had a time slot for a MOT at 2pm , witch you are warned if you don't turn up you will have to pay for the MOT -so there I was 2pm , Are you leaving your car with us I was asked, yes I will go to the shops for a hour I replied,No he said we cant do it untill tonight we have got two cars here already ,yea so what I am booked ji for this time ,we cant do it yet ,and I couldn't leave my car that amount of time as I had to pick the wife up at just gone 3pm , we could rebook you in another time was there reply ,these pealpe think they can treat us like children ,I would never EVER DEAL WITH THESE AGAIN
They lie and mislead and I recommend that you shouldn't buy from Stoneacre Ford. The York branch are the branch I dealt with and we are currently pursuing legal action.
Take my advice and go elsewhere!
Thankfully I have saved one person from the same fate and they are now not going to pursue a car from Stoneacre following my experiences,
I will update on the outcome of the legal advice and report to trading standards.
This company really does need to invest in some customer services basic training and give correct information!
My partner and I got a 59 plate car from stoneacre york 16 days ago, out of this we have seen the car for 3 days as it is on finance we are paying for a car we havnt had yet, the sales team just want the sale then after that they pass the book they have kept the car with no correspondance to myself and the 14 day cooling off period has now passed thanks to them not doing their job properly,, my car apparently went into get fixed 2 weeks ago but on talking to the service team they hadnt even seen the car never mind worked on it, it is now in getting repaired supposidly but since they have had it they still cant pin point the problem, no one rings to give me updates the sales team say its out of their hands, the after sales is the worst I have seen from any company, I certainly wont be ever getting a car from stoneacre again in the future and am certainly not paying the 1st month installment due in 10 days time, its outrageous id rather have gone to a back street car sales.
If buying a used car id seriously look else where unless you are desperate. The fixing of my car is still ongoing.......................
I totally agree about stoneacre putting lives at risk. Bought a car for my daughter to travel to university, car was four years old and cost £4,500 in September. Broke down the first day she used it. The car went to the Citroen garage for a week, we were assured it was fixed. As you can imagine, my daughter had little confidence to now drive all the way to Cambridge. In December,car broke down again, and was stuck on town bridge for three hours. Again the car was in the garage for a week and assured once again it was working fine. I demanded our money back, but stoneacre said it was their policy to try and fix it first. It broke down again yesterday. This is the third time. I will be surprised if she has driven more than 200 miles since the day we got the car. No one seems to now what is wrong with it. This time I am demanding my money back and compensation. We had only hear bad reviews about stoneacre but it was the only place that sold a car my daughter wanted. The salesman reassured us that he had been head hunted to improve the companies reputation. This clearly hasn't worked. I would advise anyone reading this, to think twice before buying from this company.
from the time I waked in untill the time I drove my car out there was nothing but help . a salesman (Richard had only just joined the company .) he didnt give me rubish he explained that to me being open and honest he had not done a mobility before.when mobility refused my second driver I explained it was my daughter who had done it for 9 years . he rang them explained and arrange for them to ring me .it was sorted in that call. this young man was so helpfull as were all the staff at stoneacre . I cant stop telling people about Richard and the staff . even on facebook. ha ha .I cannot thank your staff enough . they are a credit to you .thank you mrs Rainey .
My partner and I believe we are quite savvy when it comes to avoiding being conned into insurances and service that aren't worth a damn.....we certainly didn't see this one!! we sat down to go over the finance and clearly advised the salesman that we had no interest in taking out any extra services or added options, the salesman had other ideas and tucked the lifetime guarantee into the costing advising us that it wouldn't change our monthly payments and gave the impression that we were for all purposes getting it for nothing, he advised at the time that he was playing with the figures for tax purposes, only for us to find out later that we in fact now have to pay £895 for it. we have since cancelled the finance and paid cash for the vehicle with this stupid guarantee as we cannot stop it according to the Peterborough stoneacre branch.......we have had to put this case to the FSA as we are furious about this.
Trust me if you are thinking of buying a car from these cowboys that I urge you to think very hard and read all the reviews past page one, we wish we had!!
They give you a good deal you arrange for little thing to be done that your not happy with on the vehicle Like scuffs or scratches or missing parts and it take near on 3weeks just to get one of those things sorted out. After several phone calls and it seem that out of all the people that work there. the only person that can help is the sales person. Customer after care needs a good looking over.
Highly satisfied with the service department at Stoneacre Durham. all of the work was pre-booked and a clean courtesy car was available [62 plate]. during the course of the service, it was found that the car needed new brake pads to the front. i was contacted and given the option to have it done there and then or later; i chose there and then as you cannot compromise on safety. i have warranty work relating to a slipping clutch and again a car was available, which was de-iced and warmed for me whist i took my car in
Went to Stone Acre after seeing an advert for a Ford Focus Titanium. The salesman was very helpful and friendly and did not force any opinion's or use heavy sales techniques to sell me the car. He offered me a test drive on my own which I did and decided to buy the car.
A no hassle expierence, would highly reccommend.
