strings! fast!
We website was quite easy to navigate, once I sussed out how to eliminate single strings from the list, in favour of full sets. Great choice, great for me as local shops don't carry heavy gauges. Fast delivery, really good.

Sends strings direct to your address allowing you to choose from a wide range of strings. If you then choose the wrong strings for your guitar, as I did, you are the only one to blame and not some spotty youth in a shop who couldn't care less what strings you want and tries to sell you what they have.

Only company I use
I have used String Direct for years. Great range, good prices and excellent service. Only ever had to contact them once about an order (wrong colour tuner received). Sorted out over the phone. Correct colour tuner dispatched same day. Just bought a Strat Hardcase. Email received telling me order on way, another to tell me it would arrive next day and a final one on the delivery day, telling me to the hour when it would arrive and it did.

Lazy, Yeah, But easier than going out to buy kit.
All I wanted was a couple of sets of new strings, Couldn,t be bothered to go out got this site recommended .Gave it a try 24 hours later strings came complete re-string tune up back in business . Probably get all my kit from them now...

Excellent service, I will definitely use again.
Even though my order was only for a cheap set of strings, I received a phone call within an hour or two of ordering to say the item was out of stock but due in the following day and giving me the option to amend my order. I agreed to leave it as it was and, sure enough, the next day I received an email advising despatch and the strings arrived safe and sound the following day.
As for the strings themselves, even though they were nearly the cheapest on the website, they were D'Addagio so I thought they should be acceptable. They were needed for a basic guitar belonging to the son of a friend who was just starting to learn. They took eight days to settle in and are still dropping out of tune fairly rapidly. Maybe next time I'll get a better set no matter what guitar they're intended for.
