I placed my first order with SushiSushi recently because I wnated to try out an online Japanese cooking course. Goods arrived swiftly, well packed and just as ordered.
Delivery charges are comparable with other similar sites I have looked at so no complaints there either. I'd use them again and have recommended them to others.
The items I ordered were of very high quality and the customer service team were fantastic at communicating back to my queries in regards to the order. Very happy with the items I brought and would recommend to anyone.
Bought some Japanese sweets for my husband's birthday, nice selection, reasonably priced and super quick delivery. One of the items was out of stock and I was quickly notified and offered alternatives so the order could go out that day. Friendly staff too. Happy I found their website.

I had some Ramen Noodles in a restaurant and decided to research and make my own at home. I didn't fancy ready-made Dashi Kombu so had a go at making my own with ingredients from SushiSushi. High Street shops don't really sell Bonito Flakes or Kelp so now I have some interesting items to experiment with in the kitchen.

The prices are a little high, but considering there is major under-provision of Japanese food products in supermarkets in the UK, it's not a big deal. The delivery was fast, the items good quality, and website/transaction smooth and simple! Will be ordering again.
the only thing I didn't like was that I expected some of the products ordered to be bigger than shown on the website (e.g. rice bowls)
I have ordered a few times from SushiSushi and it was usually very good, This time I ordered the sweet hamper which I have enjoyed in the past but this time I was not sent the Kasugai Gummies which are described and pictured on the product's page. This is a shame as I was very much looking forward to these as they were my favourite from last time. Instead I was sent some completely different sweets which I did not enjoy at all. Such a shame.
Ordered Nori seaweed and would have been perfect if they were sent in some bubble wrap for protraction against breakage.
Beside this I'm a happy Customer who will continue to buy from you.
Brilliant items on sushisushi, with reasonable prices. Quick response time and fast delivery. I am defiantly purchasing again from this company. A good range of items from chop sticks to sushi making kits.
Several attempts at making online purchases before my order was finally accepted . There is a problem with the shopping cart . I received no e-mail notice of a tracking number and was left guessing as to the date of arrival . When my order did arrive i was short of two items and have had no notice that the missing items are on back order . I was over charged for delivery to Ireland .

This was my first time using the site. One of the items I ordered was not delivered in the correct quantity (a small 15g jar instead of a larger 300g packet) but the service team responded quickly and sent the correct packet out free-of-charge. Excellent service and the products are great.

When making my first order with sushisushi, the delivery didn't come and found out after calling them up about it, it never got processed as they were out of stock! They still allowed my payment to go through and never contacted me about it. I was trading somewhere which means its vital to get the delivery on time. From its slow response costed my trading day and had to drive out my way to get the stock first hand.
They did apologize and gave extra rice packets for free on the late order. However the small 1 kilo packets of rice had black fragments of some sort which is very strange. This happened on many occasions when opening these packets. Will look somewhere else as the quality is not good and is expensive as a whole-saler in general.
I am sure the goods are great, but I have been waiting for over two weeks to receive the delivery. Given delivery money back but still no parcel. Very very disappointed as it was a gift for someone for their 21st - my son!! When I phoned I was promised it would be with me by Tuesday this week. This is shocking customer services.
I bought a range of products and was impressed when the company contacted me over some items that were no longer available, they were very helpful about replacements and alternatives, I will be using this site in the future for Japanese products.
Ordered on a sunday, contacted on monday with a slight change, delivered on time on wednesday. Perfect.
The products on offer we're great, a good variety that aren't always easy to get hold of. Delivery was really quick but unfortunately one item was incorrect and another in the wrong quantity, they were quick to put right and luckily I didn't need the items for a couple more days. I did try and order something on special offer but there was error on their site meaning the discounted price wasn't carried through to checkout, I emailed asking about this and try said I'd have to order that over the phone but I didn't - it's easier to do it online and by this point I'd lost interest. Wouldn't necessarily not use them again but would hope it would be a smoother process next time
As mentioned above, I never received my order, which was supposed to be xmas present, I just lost my money. Really, there are lots of other web sites, don't use this one.
So I ordered a Christmas present from SushiSushi on the 15th of December. a good 9 days before Christmas eve.
It hadn't arrived by the following friday so I telephoned and emailed. The team had clearly gone home for Christmas and left an answerphone message saying that all orders would have been delivered by that Friday. Clearly not. So no arrival before Christmas.
I emailed after Christmas and was offered a re-delivery. 6 days including the weekend, the delivery failed to arrive.
Given the fact that each time the delivery was a 24 hour delivery service, I expected the items to arrive pretty quickly.
I had one order confirmation.
Other companies I have ordered from who use the same courier have sent me order confirmation, shipping confirmation and even an out for delivery notification with a one hour deliver slot.
I found the lack of information from SushiSushi frustrating and the customer service was therefore a massive let down. I won't be ordering from here again. Very dissapointing. I don't even believe the items were sent out in the first place.
Luckily I had bought a non-food item previously and was EXTREMLY HAPPY with the service then.
On my second try a soup weas out of date and the most expensive item missing alltogether. As I only realised the missing one when confronting my wife a day later me, as a seller would have been very sceptical. I.e. "The guy wants to have another freebie on us"
Sushisushi accepted the off date immediately as they seem to have gotten an out of date batch. The missing item is a mystery to them, but as I deal with similar operation on my daily life, this can happen in any oragnisation.
The good side was that my email was acted upon within an hour and a solution was offered without any ifs and buts.

Unfortunately with a £ 21.40 invoice for the goods I already paid for.
I like wasabi and am looking forward to using the noodles, would like to try the wheat free soy sauce when it is back in stock.
I was please that they rang me and refunded me my money.
Admittedly I ordered this item on Christmas Eve so was very late to get this for Christmas, however nowhere on the site did it say that they would not be despatching until New Year. I emailed first to see why it hadn't been despatched between Christmas and New Year and got an automatic response to say that they wouldn't be back until 2 January 2013.
2 January came and went and still no email to say it had been despatched. I think emailed again and was told that my order would have been despatched on 28 December however they were waiting for stock - this was never noted on the site either, however as I paid for Next Day delivery then it would be with me the next day (which it was). I paid for next day delivery and this was not completely so I was refunded.
The items arrived (Christmas present) and instead of being a Sushi making kit it was literally the items needed to make Sushi in a cardboard box with packaging to stop them breaking. From the website, I thought that this would be a kit and therefore presented in a box or something with instructions on how to make Sushi.
The items are of good quality, however not exactly what I was expecting.
All in all, I don't think I would rush back to this website to order again. I could have just gone to Sainsburys and bought all of this content.
However, I must say that Megan who I spoke to secondly was very helpful and gave very good Customer Service - thank you!
