I'm always a wee bit wary of buying online from a company for the first time but I had no problems with them at all, the halter came quickly with no hassles. I was pleasantly surprised when I recieved and email a few days after the halter arrived, just checking that I had recieved it and I was happy with it and the service. I would definatly use them again (and they were the cheapest place for the halter! ;-) )
Thanks for brilliant customer service. The product came 3 days after I ordered it on a Friday evening, It was in perfect condition and was exactly what I wanted. I had looked around for a pair of Old Macs hoof boots for a while and this was the most reasonably priced website I could find. Yet product was not compromised for good price. Easy to navigate website and very attractive.
I bought a silver clincher brow band, full size, to find that the loops were so small it would not fit on any headpiece on the yard!!! I contacted tackdirect and received an email back stating the loops are standard size which is 5/8"? And the browband whether pony/cob or full is the same!!!!! To my and lots of other peoples knowledge, browband loops on a full are bigger than that for a pony!! This was not clear on the website, so i decided to look at buying a narrower headpiece, I failed to find one. According to other tack suppliers the standard is 1" which includes 3/8" of which is the throat lash strap. I then contacted the company by phone Dec 2012, spoke to a sales man who took my query and confirmed he would contact the suppliers again and have an email sent to me to clarify my question. 3rd Jan 2013 still not heard anything so emailed again asking for a refund. 11th Jan no reply received so I have sent another. I have since bought another from Equestrian Clearance, the loops are 1" fit almost every bridle on the yard. This is a full size and the loops go smaller for pony size ect. The product I bought is not fit for any purpose other than a in hand very narrow bridle. Tack direct have stolen money from me, I will never order from them again, or recommend their products.
ORDERED AN ITEM AS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND, HAD A PROBLEM RE DELIVERY I CONTACT THEM BY EMAIL AND THEY WERE QUICK TO RESPOND AND SORT OUT THE PROBLEM. WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS AND WILL USE AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
