Well where to start! placed a order with tackle uk 3 working days before the weekend, ordered numerous items which all said in stock, weekend arrives no sign of my parcel had to visit local tackle shop and basically duplicate my order as needed for that weekend, when I contacted tackle uk my order had been sent and was to late to cancel, fair enough, but then out of about 9-10 items, 4 of which were apparently now out of stock and would be with me in the next few days a week later I emailed to see where my remaining items were some had still not come in so had to cancel and get a refund, overall, prices hardly no different to local tackle shops. Slow unreliable service wouldn't use again, go to your local shop guys and give those your money not these Loosers! They couldn't care less for you or your fishing needs, STAY LOCAL!!
Partner ordered a chair for me for my Bday 6 weeks in advance, got told was guna b 5 days then had a phone call saying it was out of stock and b no longer than a week (no problems, plenty of time to get here for my Bday) actually ended up being 5 weeks! This was after various calls to 0845 numbers which has cost me god knows in phone calls.
Purchased the Matrix Super Flat pole roller, confirmed first that they had one on stock, ordered and arrived on date indicated - free post. Courier delivered very late at night, but I received my item. I have been in contact with the courier firm suggesting time slots are indicated on tracked items.
I have just started Carp fishing and after contacting several other fishing tackle websites without much results, I contacted TackleUK through their website and asked if they could put together a starter kit for carp fishing based around two Chub robs and Shimano 6000 bait runner reals. They called me to confirm my needs and then supplied a list tackle and equipment to complement the rods and reals, which was great. I didn't order all of it as it was a bit over my budget, but the order arrived the next day and by that afternoon I was fishing. Thanks TackleUK.
I recently purchased a seatbox which was out of stock, it was delivered to my house within three days. The free of charge item which came with the purchase was out of stock and I received a credit for the full RRP which I think was more than fair.
The seatbox was sent straight from the supplier and had a free accessory pack which Tackle UK had shipped to me direct from the supplier in two days.
I really can't say that they were anything but helpful and speedy in sorting anything out.
Overall I would recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered a well known manufacturers Barbel rod from TackleUK on the 22nd of July this year, according to the website it was in stock. However I had a phone call the next day telling me it was out of stock, but a delivery was expected before the end of the month. I said to put it on back order. As I was going away for two weeks holiday I was not too concerned about the delay. On my return from holiday, still no rod. Correspondance with tackle UK continued through their website and I was told on several occasions that they were expecting delivery at the end of whichever week it was that I contacted them. I was on the point of cancelling the order when the order tracking changed from holding to pending on the 5th of September so I hung on a little longer. The rod was eventually despatched on the 10th of September and I recieved it the next day, by next day delivery at tackleUK's expense. (I had only requested standard delivery) I am giving TackleUK the benefit of the doubt and assuming that they were going on information from the manufacturer and that the the delays and missinformation originated with the manufacturer, although I do not know that for a fact and may be being unfair to the manufacturer. They did, in the end get my rod to me as quickly as possible, at their expense. Would I use them again? probably yes.
These guys are good!!! Great stocks are held and they are honest as to whether item is in stock or not. Delivery is fast and always as promised. Had small locking nut missing from my Korum Chair trolley and this was replaced within 48 hours.
Prices are always competitive as I shop around several sites before ever placing an order - always end up placing my order with Tackleuk.

I have been buying from Tackleuk for a few years now, only ever had one problem and that a was a faulty product, but they quickly sorted me out! Fast communications, quick delivery and great prices, I would recommend them to everyone!
Ordered and paid for a brand new rod but a used or showroom one was sent to me with no plastic on the real seats and scratches all over them. Dirty finger prints all over the rod also.
When complained they wanted me to pay for the return postage and then they would replace the rod. They said all there 30 rods had slight scratches on the reel seats as none had plastic on them.
Having already bought two of the exact same rods from someone else I know they come with plastic on the seats.
Would never use them again.
I have purchased a 6-section fishing rod from you. The rod was received at my work (The parcel shows no signs on having been opened during transport). A colleague helps unpack the parcel. It consists of 6 sections, but unfortunately 2 of the sections are identical and therefore it is impossible to assemble the rod.
Ok - mistakes happens and I expected that I could just contact you and we could clear this up. I contact you, but you tell me that the rod was assembled before shipment and some of your colleagues had seen it - you asks me to send you some pictures.
I send you a bunch of pictures that clearly shows that the rod cannot be assembled.
Your answer to this is that it was your last rod and it was displayed in the store assembled and you can see on the CCTV footage that your picker taking the rod from the rack, and then break it down and put it in the bag & tube. The tube was then passed to your packing team who sealed it and dispatched it.
FACT IS that I have 6 pcs og rod which does not fit together....So what is your story??....That someone during transport opened the package took the missing section and replaced it with a BRAND NEW section identical which one of the sections which was already in the parcel....Come on....
When I write above on their Facebook page to get some answers from them, they immediately delete my message - I have posted it again and again...

Ordered some fishing line (Fireline), it arrived very quickly and included a reel of another type of line. When I inquired to ensure this was not an error, they informed me that they were including it as a gift!
You cannot ask for a better store - will definitely be buying from there again

Customer service absolutley fantastic. I returned after almost a year a faulty bite alarm set. They right away offer full refound, or exchange for another brand of alarms. Be honest it wont happen to offten in the real world. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for quality tackle and serivce.

Full marks to Tackle UK for quick delivery and an on line stock indicator that is correct 99 times out of 100 - just the odd blip from items that appeared in stock when the order was placed but proved out of stock when picked and shipped, but no big deal.
Shipping was quick and unlike some of their competitors (are you listening Chapman's?), communications were good when a refund for out of stock was necessary, or an order was likely to be held up. Will be using you again.
Received a reel within 2 days. Opened box to find parts missing. Emailed the company because like all other online companies, there was no phone number. Received an email back saying that's very strange and could I supply pictures of the reel and the parts missing, which I did very promptly as directed by tackleuk. I was expecting them to send a courier in order to return the reel, but instead was told that the missing parts were being sent direct from leeda uk. No mention of returning the reel to tackle uk. I rang leeda uk who knew nothing about this and didn't understand why I had been given this misinformation from Tackle UK. Leeda UK do not carry any spares or parts and told me to send it back to tackle uk, as they should, by law, carry out any refund etc. Failing to get a proper response from tackle uk, I turned once again to leeda uk to find that tackle uk had been on the phone to them. I don't know what was said between Tackle UK and Leeda UK. Under Leeda's instruction, I had the reel picked up by courier the next day. That was 2 weeks ago now and I'm still waiting for either a full refund or a replacement reel. Tackle UK have been paid in full but I have neither a reel nor the money which I paid for one. I have confidence in leeda uk in sorting this out for me but I will NEVER use tackle uk ever again and I would advise other people not to shop with them either. This company have extremely poor customer service and appear to be in no rush to either sort out problems or refund customers. They are happy to pass the blame onto the manufacturers and take no responsibility for their inadequacies. My advice is to steer clear of Tackle UK.
Ordered my meat cutter blades a week before i needed them. All went well until they lost my parcel. Despite my needing them urgently, I have to wait until the 8th July, before they will even act on my complaint, due to Royal Mail.
Will not be using again. A decent company would have made the customer happy, and then dealt with Royal Mail themselves. Only a tenners worth? Bet they would gladly knock that off the Maver seatbox I am buying next month. Sadly not from this company, unless......
A mate recommended Tackle uk and I'm so glad they did I wanted two Fox warrior s Barbel rods they were awaiting delivery as they were out of stock but they kept me informed at all stages and there due to arrive any day and there prices are hard to beat if at all I have also bought a new fox armchair from them it's so comfortable I will certainly be buying more from them and I must say the people they use for delivery are so good too :-)
I was hunting around for a DIAWA saltist braid rod..visited a few stockist who although they were advertised as in stock were in fact out of stock..phoned Tackleuk who were upfront in telling me they had no stock BUT whilst I was on the phone they contacted Diawa who informed us that it would take 3 weeks due to the rods being made "in house" Tackleuk beat any price quoted so I went ahead and ordered the rod and a saltist 30 reel...both turned up as promised 3 weeks later securely packaged..I now recommend this company to my fishing buddies as a company that will try to go the extra mile.........now if only they could arrange for a few 20 pound cod to test the rod/reel out next time on the boat...........
My Dad had requested a greys rucksack for this birthday. After checking out several websites, which delivery charges were increasing the costs to over my budget. Fortunately they also stocked the reel my boyfriend was after, so we had both items with free delivery. We had to pick them up from the depot, as I did not want to miss my Dads birthday. It would have been helpful if we could have had the items delivered to a neighbour, as we work during normal hours. We received the items and are happy with them.
I ordered a Preston Innovations Space Station XSII at about 10:00pm on a Tuesday night, the box was delivered on the following Thursday morning direct to my work address as requested. I also contacted TackleUK via their website on the Wednesday to enquire when delivery of the item would be made, I had my answer within 5 minutes of asking the question! Fantastic service, highly recommended, will definitely be using them again!
I ordered a bunch of bits, a new rod, a brolly and loads of small tackle items. Everything turned up the next day as a single, well packaged item. Everything as ordered, all in good condition and super fast delivery. Couldnt ask for more.
I ordered a restbite x bed which turned up in a few days as the item was out of stock, when I took the bed out of the box it was damaged and looked slightly used. I contacted tackle uk through the message system and they was quick to reply. I didn't have any problems sorting out an exchange bedchair, this time one of the guys at tackle uk took the bed out of the box and gave it a look over before sending out again. It was Avid that sent the used/damaged bedchair to them so I can't fault tackle uk for that. The first bed was collected and a new bed delivered just as promised. Maybe they could sort the in stock system out but I found the guys nice to deal with and to be honest the price was the best I could find, so yes I would use them again.
Tackle Uk sent me an item that had been taken out of its packaging and there was a piece missing so I could not use the item they sent me. They tehn want me to waste my own personal time and petrol money to go into to town to return the item before I can have a refund.
This is not the way how things should be done, you sent me faulty goods so it should be up to Tackle UK to get the item picked up, not me to send it back to you. its wrong and wont be dealing with them anymore
