I ordered a Preston Innovations Space Station XSII at about 10:00pm on a Tuesday night, the box was delivered on the following Thursday morning direct to my work address as requested. I also contacted TackleUK via their website on the Wednesday to enquire when delivery of the item would be made, I had my answer within 5 minutes of asking the question! Fantastic service, highly recommended, will definitely be using them again!
I ordered a bunch of bits, a new rod, a brolly and loads of small tackle items. Everything turned up the next day as a single, well packaged item. Everything as ordered, all in good condition and super fast delivery. Couldnt ask for more.
I ordered a restbite x bed which turned up in a few days as the item was out of stock, when I took the bed out of the box it was damaged and looked slightly used. I contacted tackle uk through the message system and they was quick to reply. I didn't have any problems sorting out an exchange bedchair, this time one of the guys at tackle uk took the bed out of the box and gave it a look over before sending out again. It was Avid that sent the used/damaged bedchair to them so I can't fault tackle uk for that. The first bed was collected and a new bed delivered just as promised. Maybe they could sort the in stock system out but I found the guys nice to deal with and to be honest the price was the best I could find, so yes I would use them again.
Tackle Uk sent me an item that had been taken out of its packaging and there was a piece missing so I could not use the item they sent me. They tehn want me to waste my own personal time and petrol money to go into to town to return the item before I can have a refund.
This is not the way how things should be done, you sent me faulty goods so it should be up to Tackle UK to get the item picked up, not me to send it back to you. its wrong and wont be dealing with them anymore
We replaced a large quantity of tackle that had been stolen. Tackleuk had everything in stock, prices were very good, quality was first class and delivery very fast. I will definitely use Tackleuk again. This is how all internet shops should be. I have no hesitation in recommending Tackleuk.
Received my order 1 day earlier than expected. About 35 items. All correct and present.
Excellent customer service, I have asked about some discounts on certain items and TackleUK have phoned me the within hours with great prices. Prices that I just can not find cheaper anywhere else on the internet.
I will only be using TackleUK to buy my fishing gear.
I have ordered several items from TackleUK and every single time it has been almost flawless... they contact you when they are waiting for stock, not just email but by phone also. I have never had to wait more than a week for delivery on out of stock items. These people really know how to deliver good service... I have recommended them to all my fishing friends.
Made an urgent order just before 8.30 am Thursday morning that I needed for Friday without fail. I ordered thinking I would ring when I got to work to check that my order had been recieved but didn't realise there wasn't a telephone number to contact.
At the time I worried a bit when I saw the only point of contact was through a ticketing system. I sent a message saying how urgently I needed the order and it was very important that I got it in time. I got an automatic reply saying my request would be dealt with within 24 hours. BUT within about 30 mins the guys had responded and put my mind at rest. I was sent the tracking details for my order and was happy to say it was deliverd on time with no hitches.
A cracking, well run service. Will definetly be using again.

Normally I use two other vendors or Ebay to buy fishing tackle when I don't have time to get to the tackle shopduring the week. But as the other two vendors advised they didn't have stock I decided to place an order with these guys.
Sad to say, I assumed the terms and conditions would be the same as my other two online vendor's. Sadly not. I made a school boy error of not reading them prior to confirming order. So a bit of advice
1. READ T&C's very carefully before ordering. (These will be quoted to you in the eventual online reply).
2. Please TAKE NOTE there is no phone number to call this firm on or direct email address. It's "ONLINE CONTACT FORM ONLY".
3. DONT ORDER if your under a time constraint. Paying a premium "NEXT DAY" delivery charge doesn't mean you will get it next day. It means they will ship it "NEXT DAY" once the order has been processed. (My case 24hrs to process the order).
4. If you have issues, DONT expect a quick response. You may get one quickly but don't expect it. Apparently in my case it was 3 hrs to get a reply. But by my clock it was more like 4 hrs. Quite frustrating! Wwould of been much quicker to of been able to phone the vendor. The other two vendors I use generally pick up the order as it comes in and phone you back if there are issues within 30 mins and it is always posted the same day as long as it is prior to 4.30pm.
5. Get your orders in before 8.30am if you really need it next day.
6. Finally check your VAT charges. I was overcharged. I only noticed once I had a good look at the invoice. Only by 60p or so but still, if everyone is getting overcharged it's a good way of gettign extra income.
After the initial contact I questioned why nobody called me to which I got the reply - QUOTE "We felt there was no need to call as our response answered your query. I must correct you on the waiting time for a response, we replied under 3 hours since your original ticket. Please bare in mind that we receive hundreds of tickets a day during busy periods, and a lot of people are shopping with us this week to get ready for the summer, so we are busier than usual. We are only human, and feel that we have dealt with your order as we should of, it was dispatched within the correct time frame as shown in our terms and conditions. I can understand that you are frustrated because you want your bait today, but we haven't done anything wrong, and have replied to you within a reasonable time - some companies don't reply for up to 24 hours!"
So thats all OK then.. It's alll my fault for not reading T&C's and expecting "NEXT DAY" delivery to actually mean NEXT DAY delivery, especially after paying a premium for delivery. :-) CHEERS Tackle UK
Anyway, my fingers are crossed that I get my bait in time 2morrow 48+ hrs after initial order was placed. If not the frozen bait will thaw out and be no good on Monday and not sure the receptionist will enjoy the smell over the weekend :-)
Happy shopping. Personally I won't use this firm again and I will stick with my other two firms. At least I can pick up the phone and have a polite conversation with them.
Had a fantastic service from TackleUK. Informed me that an item was out of stock very quickly and gave me a ETA. Once item was in stock the order was sent out. Only issue I had was with UKMail which is outside the control of TackleUK but which can affect the overall service provided.
I had contacted TackleUK at the first moment that I had problems with UKMail and TackleUK was very helpful and quickly in responding and resolving the issue. Will continue to use the company for all my fishing items.
I ordered some mono line within 4 hours they send an email saying this item was no longer available and they recommended the same mono but a different breaking strain I accepted the new line arrived next morning Great service I order nearly all my tackle from tackle UK and will continue to do so.
Really friendly guys, helped me to pick out which items would be best for me, and then provided them at a great price. No problems with delivery, arrive really quickly and well packed. I have recommended them to all the anglers I meet on the bank.

A very bad customer service.
Following a delivery error on their part, I am forced to return the wrong item at my expense. They preferred to promise me a discount on my next order .... !
In the following command, I had to beg my discount, they would not give it to me. A shame how these people work.
It is the customer pay for their mistake! I was treated like crap even though I was a good customer.

They are always willing to give advice through their contact system, and reply really fast. Not a single mistake from them on 5+ orders, I really would recommend them to anyone!
Whilst the prices are good, and the dispatch was speedy, they we're slow having a faulty item repaired through Shimano, and then when the repaired item was mis-delivered/lost by City Link it took ages to get a replacement item sent out. Admittedly some of the problems were out ofd their hands, but they could hbve taken responsibility and ensured my continued custop, rather than procrastinating and provarocating. There is no phone number only a form submission system for dealing with problems, which is both cumbersome and long winded. I will not be using them again.

recently bought a complete sea fishing setup for my son and me. Was not sure if the items would turn up on time for a trip we had planned for the weekend got in contact with them and they did not see a problem, following day the items arrived all set for our trip, happy days;-)
I was unfortunate enough to recently buy some tackle of this shower of gangsters. All I can do is warn potential customers that they are impossible to deal with and refuse to refund any of your money.
Any company that does not know what stock they have and cannot fill a box from an itimised order page needs to have a better customer service section at least
