so iv signed up with talk talk because they have really good prices and promotion on. We moved back from Germany so i didnt want to wait 6 weeks for a line as iv heard can happen with BT. the connections process was pretty easy, we were connected on the day stated and received the tv box and router no problems. first problem, the line is really bad and crackles. even with the suggested checks ans plug in straight into the main box it still crackles. no fault from Bt, but the broadband provider. so sometime when i make or receive calls the disturbance is really bad i can hardly hear a word the other person says. second, i got into signing up for the half price mobile deal 2 months ago, 12months sim only for half price. (note the discount only showed online on the screen, not on my written confirmation nor on my first bill, but it showed beside my plan details when i logged into my account. so when i call up to query my bill as the half price wasnt applied the guy tells me ,so sorry we have this with a lot of customers. do i care, fix it and send me a new bill. he said he would put a credit note on the account. few days later still nothing happened i put a post in the forum which isnt answered yet after 5 days, but on the 5th day i notice they ve taken the "half price" promotion tag off my account so it doesnt show anymore as proof as what ive signed up for! should have done a screenshot :-( so now i have nowhere to proof that they sold me half price. i find this is lying to customers and misleading!!! this is a rip off clearly! selling at a price and then dont fullfil the terms . should have been warned when i got my confirmation and it didnt indicate the half price, only mentioned: discounts when ordered will be shown on your .bill. i wish i had this thread here before i joined.
