TALKTALK HAVE DECIDED TO TURN OFF MY 17+ YEAR OLD TISCALI E-MAIL!
After having had a personal Tiscali e-mail address for 17+ years! TalkTalk chose to DISABLE it today with ZERO warning! Many years of saved e-mails, info & contacts are LOST FOREVER! Plus it's the address I used for loads of online accounts, logins, password reminders, alerts etc! You are awful TALKTALK! Also there is NO failed delivery message if I e-mail my old address so no one will know that I'm not getting their e-mails!
Support bumped me from pillar to Bangalore, oops sorry, post and after many calls to various numbers and an eventual debate with the 'manager' who refused to give me his name I've given up and had to change all manner of things, tell friends etc!
While being a Tiscali e-mail user, I eventually decided to become a TALKTALK broadband and phone user but had to cancel the service in the end because the broadband service was so POOR and UNRELIABLE and I need it for work! Now because I don't have a TALKTALK 'service' they've tuned off MY PERSONAL e-mail account!!!!!
Calls were made all evening and eventually, after escalating, the manager 'Avitit' (??? wouldn't give me his name clearly or even spell it clearly for me although I asked over and over - this final conversation 'recorded for quality purposes' was at 18:22 GMT 14th Nov on 0870 0878038) and after asking to speak to 'his' manager he said 'don't waste your time and energy because there's nothing we can [read will] do....'. I actually suspect it was someone pretending to be a manager - if not I'd suggest getting a NEW call centre customer services manager!!!!
MY ADVICE, AS PER MILLIONS OF OTHERS', IS DO NOT USE TALKTALK IF YOU VALUE SERVICE FOR ANYTHING!
