Der Hinflug Zürich-Lissabon war einwandfrei.Der Service an Bord der Swiss Maschiene war ausgezeichnet.
Der Rückflug aber war Katastrophe.Flug um eine Stunde verschoben.Von Swiss auf TAP umgebucht.An Bord gab es weder Verpflegung noch Getränke.Ausrede zu wenig Personal.Wir sind entäuscht von dieser Fluggesellschaft.Es gab keinen Hinweis,dass es an Bord keine Verpflegung gibt,sonst hätten wir uns vorgängig verpflegt.

I have been traveling with TAP many times now. I always use them when I go to Dakar, Senegal (usually once a year) and I have used them to go to Lisbon one time.
Booking through the TAP website is easy and user friendly. Prices are easily understood - no extra fees are added. A really great thing is that I can bring lots of luggage (46 kg) without having to pay extra. The crew at check-in (Copenhagen, Lisbon, Dakar) and the crew on the plane has always been friendly and helpful.
I just think that the food on the plane could be better and more interesting.
We had a bad experience flying TAP with our son, who was a 1 year and 8 months old. Flying from Lisbon to Copenhagen the stewardess was very arrogant and rude!
We were 2 adult and one child. Since he was under 2, he didn't have his own seat. Therefore the stewardess denied us food for him. But we were never told there wouldn't be food for him or asked if we wanted to buy it beforehand, which we would have done.
I had to give him my food and didn't get any myself. We couldn't even get an extra piece of bread! Unfortunately we didn't bring anything to eat since the tickets said that food was included!
Another problem was a very long wait in the bus from the terminal to the airplane in Lisbon. The bus was completely full and we were standing very close. Me with my son on the arm. We waited for around 1 hour in the bus, and the bus driver wouldn't let us out of the bus to wait! It was ridiculous!
These were just the 2 worst things about this trip.. We are not flying with TAP again!
I am writing to you regarding some unpleasant experiences my wife and I had to be tested on our recent trip to Brazil Rio de Janeiro.
When we tried to reserve our seats online 24hrs before the flight precisely, the system only showed two seats available, which was rather strange as nobody can do online check-in less than 24 hours before the flight!
As a loyal TAP travelers, which you can see from our points score, we flow off to Brazil at the end of March and came back on the 14th April 2012; as we had 26445 thousand miles at the time we were hoping to get an upgrade on the way home; but to our disappointment and surprise we were told at Rio de Janeiro that would not be possible as the executive class was full, which were not when we boarded the aircraft, and to get the upgrade we had to contact TAP well in advance and be placed on a waiting list, we thought using TAP loyalty card would be a very straight forward thing but it proved us wrong in a big way, furthermore on our connection flight TP-0074 TAP have managed to leave our suitcases behind at Lisbon, which was also very disruptive and the luggage was delivered the following day by the curried company.
We found that been an loyal traveler does not necessarily pay off and depending on your comments and response regarding this matter we have to reconsider our position about our loyalty to TAP.
THE REPLY AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH LATER WAS "SORRY" AND EXTRA 1000 AIR MILES...
I have booked a flight via Bravofly and we supposed to fly with TAP from Venice to Miami on Feb. 16th and back on Mar. 4th. We bought more expensive tickets beacuse we wanted just one layover and we got this...with just 2 hours layover in Lisboa, in both ways.
But suddenly, they cancelled our flight with no explanation.
We can't fly on Feb. 16th but the day after, on Feb. 17th. But we already booked the hotel in Miami and we will be charged for this one night that we cannot sleep there because we are comming to Miami the next day.
On our way back - they have changed our flight again - so we don't leave Miami on Mar 4th, but on Mar 5th. So, I need to book another hotel for another night for us to spend there. Beside this, on our way back, we have 2 layovers, and not 1, as we payed for. So, instead of arriving in Venice at 17:50 we will arrive the next day at 21:00! That is just not the flight we payed for!!! The funny thing is that they don't want to refund us any money! Not for the tickes that are obviously overpayed but not even for our hotels which we have to pay just beacuse they decided to cancel our flight! Outrageous!!!
Booked to fly on TAP with my young baby. I regret booking with them as there is way less baggage allowance compared to other airlines.
- You are only allowed 6kg hand baggage.
- No hand baggage for the baby (nappies, food, bottles, clothes etc).
- Only 10kg of checked in baggage for the baby.
- No extra allowance for a car seat
- No extra allowance for a travel cot
- You are however allowed a collapsible pushchair
Compared to other airlines this is appalling.
Oh, and if you do go over the 10kg as you really need a carseat or travel cot, that will be £15 per kilo one way. So you could be looking at £150 for taking a travel cot alone! Sometimes Easyjet is just easier...
