This has to be the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced, the "experience" started after I purchased one ceramic sink for £149 plus delivery charges totalling over £170, the sink advertised inclusive of mixer tap, unfortunately I didn't read the small print which stated (tap not included), confused? So was I,
I rang up after searching like crazy to find a contact, just somebody to talk to and had to pay some ridiculous £1.50 a min service to find out how to return it, eventually they sent me an email recommending I use "parcels to go" to return it, this cost me a further £32, unfortunately the saga got worse, parcel2go trashed the sink then refused to pay any damages other than a straight refund of the delivery charge, to date I am out of pocket by over £170 and utsumi have refused to take any responsibility for this despite- a) they admitted the website was incorrectly advertised and b) they recommended a courier (TNT) who destroyed my package completely and produced a minuscule clause, do not use either of these companies they smile and then ignore you, smoke and mirrors
This product (seagull kitchen tap) is absolutely useless. the hot/cold pressures are so low they are almost a trickle. The tap handles are loose and swivel round too far, so you have trouble turning on and off. I purchased a new tap from toolstation and the difference in quality is amazing. Although they have said they will change the tap (return at my expense) it is easier to throw it away and put it down to (a bad) experience. DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WISH - BUT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Business like this makes me wary of dealing with Ebay again

I purchased the sink and signed 'unchecked'. When it came to being fitted a few days later a crack was noticed. That was when I was horrified to see the cost of the calls £1.53/min for customer services and after sales. So I rang sales after filling in an online form, cannot believe that they are unable to help, but they suggested I put a photo on another web form, unfortunately this didn't work so I had to ring them again. I had already reluctantly rang the expensive line, but after being put on hold with music playing soon put the phone down. I was given the support e-mail address, I sent another e-mail. I got a reply, then I sent another saying how urgent it was, and gave my phone no. etc, hoping someone would let me know what was going on. I got an e-mail some time later saying they had a live feed to the sink company as TapsUK didn't have another in stock, they would let me know when I could expect delivery. Having read some reviews on this website I was horrified when nobody got back in touch. I rang sales again about 6 hours later and must say I was not happy. I had sent an e-mail stating I wanted my replacement or refund within a couple of days, or the chance to order a different one. The next day I got an e-mail saying the replacement sink would be here the next day. We still had to sign unchecked as the courier couldn't wait for us to open it. But the sink is now in place, and although I was ready to write a bad review, I feel now, that I can praise this company, but suggest they change their phone no. so they don't offer such an expensive line for problems. If I hadn't been so annoyed about the expensive phone line I would have given 5 stars.
This was the first time I have used Taps.co.uk and I am very impressed with them. The merchandise is of very good quality and very much cheaper than Wickes and B & Q and i would certainly use them again. My order was received within 48 hours.
The tap turned up in a timely manner and was as described. The plumber said the tap was difficult to fit and did pop out to purchase another fitting but apart from the no problems. I have no regrets in purchasing this product it is very low maintenance when it comes to cleaning and 15 months down the line looks as good as new!
The goods were as described and arrived as expected however 4 boxes of tiles came on a pallet and were only taken to the door so I then had to unpack the pallet to get them in one by one. Good job it wasn't raining otherwise I'd be pretty angry about it.
Absolutely delighted with the Bath and Basin Taps received from you. The service from this company was superb down to the delivery driver. Had been looking for something a bit different to go with a Traditional Suite and the Glenham Taps look brilliant on this. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for Taps has been saved to my Favorites List.

Taps delivered quickly but without the connecting hoses, attachement bolts or brackets to secure them to the sink. Oops- fairly major QC drop-off!

however, this is the 2nd set of taps ive ordered and the 2nd set delivered minus vital parts which prevented installation. top marks each time to customer services for sorting the issue quickly with little hassle but would much prefer the delivery to be complete in the first place!
I am very happy to recommend both the taps and the company. In fact I mentioned to my son (who is going to upgrade his bathroom) how happy I was with mine. Basically, good service, brilliant quality it does what it says on the tin, Thank you, I will use again!
