Be wary about this company. I think that they are deliberately scamming people by pushing people to use their premium rate call lines to sort out problems and creating delaying tactics so that too much time has passed to get a refund, please see below a shortened (honestly) account of my experiences.
I placed an order for a tap and waste on 14th Oct.
18th Oct I got an email saying the tap was found to be damaged in the warehouse (a common excuse looking at other reviews) and that they were out of stock even though they were still selling it online.
18th Oct I got an email saying my order had been dispatched!!!
I raised a case with their help desk asking for clarification and got the reply
'I can confirm that your item has been despatched with our courier Yodel. All of our items should be delivered within 48 hours, so if you have not received your items please let us know so that we can chase this with Yodel'
they closed the case.
1st Nov still no order so I raised another case asking where my order was.
4th Nov replied saying system was updating and they would get back to me
6th Nov reply saying courier lost the parcel and it would be resent
17th Nov still no order contacted them
18th Nov got this response 'Unfortunately, when our quality control team where inspecting your Astini Sligo Chrome Bathroom Basin Sink Mixer Tap HB5 to make it ready for packing they have found substantial damage around the item and initial packaging so have deemed it as unsellable. Our logistics team have contacted the manufacture to get a replacement and have found that this item will no longer be manufactured - so we cannot get further supply of it.'
Sounds a bit familiar!!!!
18th Nov I responded 'you have already used this excuse a week after you confirmed the product was sent and it was still on the website for sale (see other call raised.
I consequently have no faith in your company please give me a full refund'
18th Nov they responded ;I can confirm that the order has now been fully cancelled and refunded. I can confirm the funds will be back in your account in the next 2-3 working days. Please let me know if you hae any further queries.

I have chased up with the distribution centre to see when the item is due in to us and they have advised it will be delivered to us on the (13-Dec). I understand that this may cause some inconvenience which I apologise for.
As soon as it arrives with us, your order will be dispatched for delivery ASAP with our courier service. Tracking information will also be sent via email once dispatched.
If the delay is not suitable, please call our sales team who will be happy to go through some alternatives which we can get dispatched to you quicker. If an alternative is not suitable and you cannot wait, of course you can cancel your order for a full refund.
Again, apologies for the delay and the inconvenience.
11th Dec went to check paypal for refund and surprise surprise no refund and paypal refuse to raise a case as it is too long since transaction was placed.
I have complained to paypal and will post this wherever I can to prevent others being subject to the same experience I have.
I placed an order for a ceramic sink. No confirmation of the order was sent.
I then got a phonecall stating that there was a supposed forklift accident and that the goods could not be delivered for another month. An alternative was offered however i did not have access to the internet site and the time and asked for the details to be sent to my email account. I called several times on their 0844 number which just cycles through a menu , and provides the company with revenue without needing to have an operator attend.
I chased the details using the companies "chat" facility (this is just a method to leave a message there is no live chat). No response.
I cancelled the order via the same facility - no response
I did it again - no response.
Whoever reads this review make up your own mind !
I ordered a Villeroy & Boch Butler 90 sink, the item had a 3 - 5 days delivery. After a week I sent an email because I refuse to use their £1.53/min rip off service line for their error.
I was given a bland response from their Indian Centre which gave no clear details about the delivery.
I was then advised this week that the payment wasn't received when clearly it had as I received Paypal's confirmation which I duly sent to them.
No Apology. Just advised item will be dispatched. I contacted the courier who told me that delivery would be this Friday...6th December that's 12 days after ordering and severely delaying the fitting of my kitchen.
I was then advised the item won't arrive until the 9th of December. I contacted the sales line to get someone to contact me as a 10 minute call would escalate to £15 which I think is criminal. I have yet to speak to a customer service rep and I doubt I will get a call.
This has been singularly the most disgusting customer experience I have had online and I would advise those who wish to purchase from TAPS UK to seriously think again because if something goes wrong it will cost you a lot of money that you won't get back.
I hope one of TAPS UK reps reads this and does their very best to rectify this terrible service. You have been warned.

This was the first time I have used Taps.co.uk and I am very impressed with them. The merchandise is of very good quality and very much cheaper than Wickes and B & Q and i would certainly use them again. My order was received within 48 hours.
The tap turned up in a timely manner and was as described. The plumber said the tap was difficult to fit and did pop out to purchase another fitting but apart from the no problems. I have no regrets in purchasing this product it is very low maintenance when it comes to cleaning and 15 months down the line looks as good as new!
The goods were as described and arrived as expected however 4 boxes of tiles came on a pallet and were only taken to the door so I then had to unpack the pallet to get them in one by one. Good job it wasn't raining otherwise I'd be pretty angry about it.
Absolutely delighted with the Bath and Basin Taps received from you. The service from this company was superb down to the delivery driver. Had been looking for something a bit different to go with a Traditional Suite and the Glenham Taps look brilliant on this.
Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for Taps has been saved to my Favorites List.

Taps delivered quickly but without the connecting hoses, attachement bolts or brackets to secure them to the sink. Oops- fairly major QC drop-off!
online Customer services responded very quickly to my query and missing parts delivered several days later
however, this is the 2nd set of taps ive ordered and the 2nd set delivered minus vital parts which prevented installation. top marks each time to customer services for sorting the issue quickly with little hassle but would much prefer the delivery to be complete in the first place!
I am very happy to recommend both the taps and the company. In fact I mentioned to
my son (who is going to upgrade his bathroom) how happy I was with mine. Basically,
good service, brilliant quality it does what it says on the tin, Thank you, I will use again!

Fast delivery, good quality at a good price
I was warned by my caring friends and family not to buy via the internet. I am glad that I ignored their advice and purchased all my bathroom fittingsfrom Taps.co.uk.
My order arrived within the specified time and all the items I ordered, were delivered with all the nuts bolts and screws required. Products I bought were of high quality with a fair price (value for money).
During the installation fitters damaged 2 small items, these were replaced immediately without any question with great after care service.
I thoroughly recommend this company to anyone.
Products are good and at competitive prices. But watch the shipping; they can only provide an all day slot so you have to be in between 8am and 5pm. And its not clear on the website or confitmation emails, actually not mentioned on the emails. Very poor in today's world.
One item delivered was damaged. Whilst there was no issue with a replacement, other than shipping, see above, it was damaged due to poor packing and sloppy handling by the delivery company.
Whilst they may be good price; I will not use them again as I can not afford to sit and wait all day for a delivery.
Really pleased with our purchase. We got the waterfall tap for sink and waterfall mixer shower tap for bath, both look lovely. Really good quality and very reasonably priced. Paid for next day delivery, was updated on the progress and received quickly.
I purchased a shower column and was told at the time I could track and get a rough eta having paid for next day delivery. When I followed up the next day I was told they couldn't give me that info so I had to call city link myself to get an idea of timings, having spent an hour online with the staff who at one point was shouting at me, I didn't bother to waste any more time with them. City link on the other hand were polite and curtious and even called me back 3 times with updated info. When the package arrived it was marked but due to my experience with the customer service team knew it would be a waste of time contacting them. In short I am sorry to say, I had a terrible experience.
As I required a new shower enclosure, I decided to order it from taps.co.uk after viewing a few websites. From the word go they kept me informed throughout and delivered as promised, I would recommend Taps for your bathroom requirements.
My only disappointment was they did not have a shower tray of the size I required.
I therefore had to shop elsewhere for it.
Nevertheless shopping with Taps was a pleasure.
My order was delivered on a day I specified which was very helpful. Customer services were excellent and even called the driver to find a rough delivery time for me. The taps and bath I purchased are beautiful and look great too.
I would recommend using this company.
Although disappointing to have a faulty product, my experience of taps customer service was first class in resolving the issue.
Its not until you have a problem that a company can truly be reviewed !
Got a great deal at Taps.co.uk, single mixer for £40 instead of £60 odd.
Fast delivery as well.
Does'nt look cheap or nasty either, well sturdy and good quality, took plumber 20 mins to fit it.
So the moral of this story is don't turn off turn on to Taps.co.uk
