Target.com: Great Gift Registries!

I visit our local Target store about twice a month and find that they have reasonable prices, a great selection, and decent quality. Therefore, when I was planning for my wedding, and later, baby showers, I chose to register at Target.com. I particularly liked the suggestions for what to put on the registries. I knew pretty much what I needed for the wedding registry, but I really didn't have a clue with the baby registry... Babies need so much stuff! I've been happy with my purchases from Target.com and the one thing that didn't work out I was able to take back to my local Target store to return hassle-free.

Inexpensive furniture, little hassle, happy overall

Just needed to find some inexpensive accent furniture for the new game room (tv stand, side tables, stools). Didn't have much that was available in stores so had to have it shipped. All in all I was pretty pleased. Thought the quality has to be better than that other big store and shipping was relatively quick. May not be perfect for everyone, but it certainly worked for me.

Ordered three items to the tune of 135.97 received order with one item i ordered and two items i did not order called them the customer service agent was very rude her reply was ( Oh i guess someone else got your items ) imagine that so asked could i return the items to store ( which is an hour and half drive from where i live ) returned to store would not take them offered to refund money for items they sent $40.00 ( items i purchased cost $89.00 ) so I shipped them back to target they said they did not receive so i tracked package tole them who signed for them and what time still have not got my money refunded WILL NEVER BUY FROM TARGET.COM again

Worst online shopping experience as a whole I've ever had

I purchased an item two weeks ago that I still haven't received. I received an email stating the item shipped with a tracking number that never was accurate. My first call to their customer service did not answer any of my questions but I was told the item would be shipping soon. The operator was very hard to understand and I had to have him repeat himself multiple times. My second call still did not help either. The operator was absolutely impossible to understand and honestly seemed perturbed I had called. I also was lied to and told the item would be delivered within the day. When I asked the operator to please slow down and repeat herself I think she actually talked faster and was more impossible to understand. I emailed their online customer service dept. about my experience and received a form letter response that still has a non working tracking number. The note did say I should receive my item tomorrow.
I am actually extensively trained in the customer service field and this experience is a great example of how not to do it. Maybe I'll receive my item tomorrow and this terrible experience will be over.

Excellent store, everything is on time and excellent customer service cell phone came in excellent condition and requires

repair after 2 month that having it i contact the store and the help me to get the phone repaired for free.

Great store with locations everywhere!

Target will always be an upscale Walmart to me. Sure the prices may be more, but you get what you pay for -- quality. There's always a good sale going on and the variety of products is great. I've been doing more and more of my grocery shopping there as Target is so close to my house.
Ordering from target's website is always a breeze. Even clothes, I've had products that didn't fit or I didn't like and was able to return it to the store!

Good overall, but prices are sometimes way too off. Quality of clothes is good however.

Fast Shipping

Prices are sometimes way too off. However you can catch some discount periods and make good purchases.

Inconsistent service and prices

For target the consumer is not always treated well. The service and quality of items is inconsistent.

Slow site

I like the store and I like the products, but the quality of their website is sub par. Very slow and overwhelmed... just needs a lot of improvement before I go thru 45 minutes of processing time to order one product again... and it wasn't my connection speed...

Not user friendly

Although I like Target, I do not shop on their website often. It is a very difficult site to navigate and find the item you are seeking. The filter tools are not efficient, thereby making it difficult to narrow down a search. You would think a corporation like Target would have the resources to build an exemplary website that is user friendly and easy to navigate. I do return from time to time to see if it has improved, but not so much. Come Target, we expect better.

Target has great prices, and really great sales.

I find things at Target that I have been having a hard time finding at a price I am willing to pay. The S&H is reasonable also and I appreciate that.

I just bought a patio set from Target and it was delivered quickly and the quality is surpassed just by the great price I received. I Luv it and them.

On Target: Target's Got the Goods for You

Target is my guilty pleasure. I love shopping here. They sell affordable items, that I didn't even know that I needed until I saw it on their sales room floor. I love the clothing sections- they are one of the first companies to sell cool trendy clothing at affordable prices. They know even if you're working class you can still appreciate good design. It hits the spot.I love that. And I love shopping at Target.

Better than Walmart

Clean stores. Great website. I had rather shop at Target than Walmart any day. They have an excellent return policy and good customer service and their variety of products is very good.

I love Target. I shop Target quite a bit and love it. They have everything I have ever looked for. I love their store brands....very good quality and very good price.

Hate it.......

Slow.........I have a turtle that is faster! GEEZZZZZ people get all the ads off of there so the pages can load .. takes so long to order crap, I don't have that kind of time .. never order online because it is freakishly slow.

Worker exploitation

Costomers like it, but their anti union stance is disgusting!

Do not shop at Target anymore

I used to love Target and did all of my major shopping there for paper towels and the like. Would load up once a month with non-perishables. Then I read that the money I spent there was being funneled to support far right causes and I stopped shopping there. Now, they get to know why. Really, that is the only issue I have with them and would still be spending my money there if not for that. Now I mostly use Amazon.

Hard to Beat

Great selection and they offer free shipping on a certain sized order. I like the site much more than Walmart which always requires a refresh. I do think the prices are a little higher and I wish they made it easier to figure out shipping.

More options online

I love the store but there are more options available online and sometimes they are less expensive than in the store. The website is easy to use and all sale items are clearly marked. There are enough resinable shipping options to choose from.

Site is horrible.

Ever since their recent site redesign, I can't shop here anymore. The site loads really slowly, and freezes my browser. By the time (long time) I actually find what I want, I've lost all patience, and I go somewhere else.

Pricing

Having shopped at Target in the US (New York State). I do not believe they are competitive with Wal Mart at all

They are coming to Canada....If they keep pricing levels similar to the US
they will not make out too well

I think so. Maybe you pay a little more but its a better environment.

quick simply easy to use checkout

though checkout was quick & simply i can't say the same for my product delivery timeframe... it was slow to say the least and backorders seem to be consistent.
