Excellent
My Vango Omega tent arrived much quicker than expected but on putting it up for the first time I found I was missing a tensioner for one of the guy ropes. One e-mail and one photo of exactly what I needed later and 2 spares arrived the next day.

Taunton leisure perfect again
I have used Taunton Leisure several times now for clothing and camping gear. Great prices and great service. Even the delivery company they use provided a one hour window on the morning of delivery and arrived exactly on time with a trackable online service. Delivery is something that usually lets companies down but not here.
Faultless as it should be and will use again. Many thanks !

good, bad, then good again
Bought some Salomon shoes over the phone. Good process and got a price match. The very day they arrived I got an email from taunton saying they had been reduced! Not happy so emailed taunton to say this was a bit naughty of them. They emailed me back a couple of days later and refunded the difference. No quibbles. So all in all very happy with all aspects of their service.

great service and a good price
Taunton Leisure's website was easy to use, they had the Mountain Equipment Jacket I wanted at a good price and I was really pleased whe it arrived on Saturday morning, since I only ordered it on Thursday night (after 10pm) and only went for the standard (tracked) delivery. I'd happily recommend them and use them again.

Fantastic product selection & product inforation combined with an unrivalled delivery service
Was looking for a new tent and knew more or less what I wanted. Searching on line I came across Taunton Leisure's website. What a find! Loads of products available and it was easy to search for and find exactly what I wanted, including accessories. I even changed my mind about the actual tent I wanted & ended up buying a Vango Tigris XL (+ footprint)! Product pictures and info were first class and the prices were really competitive and, in fact, cheaper than a lot of other companies. I am based in the south west and considered travelling to one of their stores but time was short and the weather was foul so I opted to order on line. Ordering and paying was really easy - I could even use PayPal, which I liked very much! Once the order had been placed I was kept informed of my order's progress via email. I had chosen "tracked delivery" and it was spot on - right down to the hour it would arrive. Can't fault the site, the products available, the prices or the delivery service. Highly recommend giving this company a try.

Speedy delivery, great product, no complaints!
We went to Taunton Leisure because another company emailed us to tell us they were out of stock of the item we wanted even though we had just bought it online (Osprey Baby Carrier).
We needed it quickly so paid Taunto Leisure for Saturday delivery. It arrived on time as described. We were able to take our 6 month out for a very enjoyable Sunday walk as planned. So very happy!

Great service from Taunton Leisure and a fantastic product!!
Superb service from Taunton Leisure. Really fast delivery with great communication and a change of delivery date option. The Robens tent we purchased is great quality. We went camping in it for the first time this month and it withstood a very windy Peak District with barely any movement.. The porch is great for rainy weather and the black inner lining in the 'bedroom' compartment makes it very cosy :) Best of all, two of us put the tent up in 20 minutes and we took it down in 10 minutes. I fully recommend it.

Fantastic service, above and beyond...
I wanted to get hold of an ultra lightweight tent to use for multi-day runs and long lightweight hikes at altitude in the Alps and around Europe. The obvious choice, after a bunch of research was the Terra Nova Solar Photo 2 - 900gm and tiny pack weight for a 2 man self supporting tent! Anyway, the point is that Taunton had it at a fair price, they could easily ship to France and were willing to delay delivery until I got back from a trip away. All in all, excellent customer service, good prices and easy no-faff delivery. Definitely impressed after I last used them about 17 years ago to buy a Low Alpine hiking jacket! I'll be back :) Best of luck to everyone out there looking to adventure!!

Good Quick Service
I saw on-line Taunton Leisure's sale offer of a UTag emergency device at a very reasonable price. I placed my modest order by 'phone. The member of staff who took my call was exemplary - I think I said that I hoped the call had been recorded for training purposes!
I had 2 email responses confirming acceptance of my order, and informing me of delivery arrangements. The package arrived within a few days, very securely wrapped.

Taunton Leisure was recommended to me by a friend so I thought that I would try them, especially as I had spent quite some time looking for a high- performance tent for occassional weekend camps but without being able to make a final decision. I called them as I also wanted some advice before buying and my first impression was that the receptionist was very approachable and also very technically aware. The price was great, being some 20% cheaper than any other quote that I had. In fact, the whole buying process was extremely quick and easy and I placed my order against known stock within 10 minutes. They followed up with an immediate email confirming goods, price and delivery.
The delivery experience was great and enabled me to track the order progress through to delivery. The product arrived extremely securely wrapped, right at the start of the promised 1-hour delivery window and within 1 day of order. They also followed up with a confirmation email - outstanding customer service!
My advice is not to waste valuable free time trawling price comparison and technical websites; just go to Taunton Leisure. I really do believe that they are a great one-stop shopping experience for camping and outdoor goods. I will certainly be using them again.
