Should be voted the worst provider in history

This company is shocking. If I could put no star for the vote I would.

They have no clue what they are doing and simply do not care about the service or lack of it, once you have signed in to a contract.
Like the saying goes - you get what you pay for, but with these cowboys, you don't get much back besides stupid emails asking for examples when it is them whom provide the service they know so little about.
They close "tickets" off if you do not reply to them, like businesses have nothing else to do besides communicating to these absolute idiots. Here is an example of the type of reply you would typically receive, if they have not passed the blame on to someone or something else:

We have monitor the call made to the number 49 201 81 18-586 from our end and from our carrier end as well and cannot see any packet drop. We have also listened the call as well and can listen that the other party sound was breaking up at certain points. The issue is most likely to be the with the calling party.

Good start-Not so good ending

The initial introduction to Telappliant was very positive. Provisioning Engineer Graham Keane was first class, not only on the Technical side but also his customer service. Unfortunately although the Telappliant router worked it did not handle our particular application. What was disappointing was the whole procedure of the Resolution Ticketing System when we had our perceived problems. The system is cumbersome and you don't really know who you are dealing with. However overall quite satisfied with the installation

Great Service - Great Value - Great Team

The systems and services that Telappliant and their daughter company Voiptalk provide are first class. Technical support are problem solvers, customer service is helpful and the sales are thorough and dedicated on getting clients and new products up and running. I have been using many of the services provided by the company since 2008 and the benefits really do out weigh any faults and hence the 5 stars.

Great service and good people to deal with

We've been using Teleappliant now for 6 months and have always found them friendly and efficient. The Voip service has so far worked perfectly.

Number Port Rip-off.

Voiptalk (telappliant) could not port my number after 2 attempts. On speaking to the porting team they assumed that the carrier for my number was BT (although my telephone service was through Sky). I was charged £24 for the first attempt and if I asked them to try another port within 24hrs it would be done at a reduced price.

The first failed attempt was annoying since I spoke to the porting team by phone. The second attempt failed because they repeated exactly the same procedure as before even after telling them to avoid porting from BT, as my provider is Sky it must be on a different carrier.

I spoke to a customer service lady afterwards asking her why did Voiptalk not listen to my instructions where her reply jumped straight to "Why would we not want to port your number, we want to provide you with a telephone service, why would we charge you for something we didn't do." It didn't quite make complete sense as I didn't accuse them of charging for a fake service (although it had been a thought). I then asked her - How do I know if the port was even attempted? - Which carrier does voiptalk/telappliant use? In addition to repeating what she had already said her reply was "I can't give you those details."

The number was portable but I wasted ~£37 on a service that I am convinced was not provided. I'm sure telappliant works for all the call centers and business lines that I see in the reviews but as a residential customer it failed to port a single number and handled it with very little care as I am sure residential customers are "small fry" to them.

As an individual the cost of failed number ports doesn't help with any savings and as it took some time for these "ports" I was ~24hrs away from losing my number altogether. Luckily I had time to notify my current provider that I was staying with them before they had commenced closing my account.

I have already sent a complaint to Ofcom, hopefully this underhanded aspect of voip services does not go on for much longer. Avoid companies that charge for number porting, you can't be sure that it was done correctly or that it was done in the first place.

Great company to do business with. Great guys who will always listen and act to our needs and requirements!

We are a 200 seats call center based Mauritius and we have been doing business for the past 8-9 years
Telappliant provides us most of our telephony solutions and is hosting our equipment in UK. So far I can say we have experience five nines uptime!

Good telephony and email support and a great support staff who knows their stuff.

I would strongly recommend Telappliant to any business!

Excellent, Reliant and Efficient

I am really impressed with Telappliant they were responsive and thorough with their customer services. Its nice to see that they put their customers first. I have never used VOIP services before neither am I an IT specialist, not once did i feel that i was annoying to them in anyway as I asked 100 of questions before and after setup nonetheless they walked me through the whole process and now my whole office is running on VOIP telecommunications. If its this simple then the future is changing as we speak.

Very reliable service

We've been with Telappliant for nearly a year now, and the level and quality of their VoIP service is exceptional. We have only had 3 very minor outages (lasting a couple of minutes at most) - this is much better than our previous supplier (who were a very large telecoms organisation). All of our users have commented on how good the call quality is.

Responsive support

Great support overall but when you hear the phrase "I've never been asked that before..." you tend to worry but they use that as a learning experience instead of a default "no, can't be done" which is excellent if you have a particular need !

No Technical Support During Setup

The overall VoIP service seems to work well.

I was caused major embarrassment with my client due to a total lack of help and support during the setup. It seems they are happy to secure your contract and are then not interested after that. As I write this review, I am still awaiting a response from support and I have ended up having to resolve the issue myself.

Nobody ever answers the live chat either.

Good system but very poor customer interaction and support.

Telappliant are a very professional organisation who have the customers best interests at heart. They called me about an isue before I knew the issue was happening. Their proactive management helped sort out my technical problem very quickly.

Excellent personalised service

We have been a client of Telappliant for many years, recently we migrated 50 + users from a Local PBX to Cloud based PBX. The Transition was very smooth with virtually no down time.

Don't Bother

Having been sold a system firstly that is supposed to be market leading with high level quality assurances I have had nothing but trouble so far and we've only had the system a week!

Already I had an outage on a Saturday (a day Telappliant don't support) and had to send the whole call centre home.

The reason for this I was told was due to their server requiring a reboot, something I cannot do manually, and if this happens again I asked, was told nothing could be done presently. Therefore I now run a huge risk in running a sales force on a weekend.

Following this issue I have now just had downtime of 45 minutes due to simply adding an extension blocked our IP address and therefore kicked everybody out, again this took over 45 minutes to resolve, had this been outside of support hours, we would have been stuck yet again.

I had other options at the time and my concerns were explained to my rep but I was told there was nothing to worry about as Telappliant are the best in this arena etc, quite honestly the whole experience from start to where we are now has been a nightmare and as soon as my contract expires I will be looking for another solution.

My advice, try elsewhere.

Fantastic Service + Excellent Support = Perfect Company!

I have been a wholesale customer of Telappliant's for around two years now. We are only a small supplier to a handful of specialist companies however the support we receive is always spot on. In the two years we have been with Telappliant, we have only experienced one period of downtime, which lasted no longer than 30 minutes. The issue was obviously addressed and repaired very quickly. Most of our legacy systems run on the BT PSTN and we have experienced far more downtime from them than Telappliant. The sound quality of calls is incredible for a VoIP service. They are much clearer than a standard telephone call and we have never experienced crackly or 'robot like' calls. The majority of our calls are international calls from Australia, United States, Canada and Portugal. The quality of these calls are second to none with absolutely no noticeable delay. We have recently provisioned several international numbers which a client of ours needed right away, the team pulled out all the stops and got them over to us within a couple of hours. We are very happy customers and hope to make greater use of the Telappliant network in the near future. Thank you all.
