I have given them 3 chances. Each time flowers were delivered late, not one the date requested. One was 5 days late the others 3 days late. Each time flowers were not what I ordered and with each I paid for larger bouquets, they all were small. Once your order is done, and you have an issue such as the flowers not being delivered they are unreachable by phone. I called 5 times and total hold time was 4 1/2 hours and when you request a call back FOR GET IT, IT WILL NEVER COMES !!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!
This company is awful. I ordered a Halloween Bouquet to be sent to my Mom's work. The bouquet was supposed to have a variety of flowers including lilies, roses, and carnations, all in fall colors--orange, white, red, yellow. The bouquet "Spooky Sweet" also had a cute spider on top. What arrived where pink and purple carnations, with 4 lilies that hadn't bloomed yet, and the giant spider looking like it was thrown into the bouquet. It was a very pathetic arrangement of "Halloween" flowers. I called customer service who apologized and said they will give me a twenty percent refund, I complained more, and got a thirty percent refund, then they offered forty percent. I was not happy with forty percent so I asked to speak to a manager, who then offered twenty-five percent refund not realizing her employee offered me forty percent. At the end of this, I was offered a fifty percent refund or they could go back to my mom's work, pick up the bouquet and give me all of my money back. I ended up taking the fifty percent refund and reviewing the bouquet with a picture of these awful flowers. My review was never posted, and I looked to see what type of reviews these flowers had and realized only four and five star reviews get posted. I will never order from this company again.
I ordered flowers 2 days in advance and finally at 6pm the day I was supposed to receive them, they still hadn't shown up. I called Teleflora to inquire about my order and they said that they couldn't find a florist that could make my arrangement(REALLY?!) and they tried to contact me and let me know. They had my phone number and email and yet I received nothing. 15 mins after my call I received the email that said they couldn't find a florist... My refund will take a week!
Do a little online research and you'll find (probably already have) this company consistently is despicable. I wish I'd thought to do a search before I used this national flower delivery company... who'd have thought. But, in short, same song and dance as most of these reviews detail. Ordered an arrangement, did not show, called, was told it would be delivered the next day, did not show, called, was told it would be delivered the NEXT day, did not show, called, was told it would be delivered the NEXT day (day 4 now), and so far it has still not showed.
I had to speak with multiple supervisors, and finally a supervisor to the supervisor and I'm still being ripped off. I've demanded a refund but I have not been able to confirm yet whether that has occurred. The phone reps barely speak English. They have also been untruthful, insincere, and disrespectful (putting me on hold at times for 20 minutes). Shameful.
I also was called by the delivery man today (at least an arrangement has finally been CREATED on day 4) that he doesn't know where to leave the recipients' arrangement b/c he can't get into the apt. building. I am on the other side of the country... what does he want me to do? I don't know-- this is your job-- do you not deliver arrangements to apartment buildings? Figure it out. Come by later. I don't know. Don't ask me. He then told me he couldn't come back b/c he had an important delivery to make... My bets are that the flowers won't be delivered again.
A business like this deals with people's important life events-- grief or celebration. The way this company is run and the way it fails to do it's basic job is wholly unacceptable.
I ordered flowers, Blossoms In Vogue Deluxe, for our sisters birthday. What she got did not look like anything I ordered. I understand they can substitute flowers but it looked like it was all vase. The flowers were suppose to be fall colors. Got white, pink, red and yellow. Will find my own florists to order flowers from in her area in the future. When you order the deluxe, which cost extra, you should get extra not just an ugly vase. I called to complain and was told well they do make substitutions and I told the woman that it should at least look somewhat similar and if they cannot fulfill that then they should call you and ask if you would rather have something else. And she told me what I received was beautiful. Bet she never got flowers before. Wish I could post what it was to look like and what we actually got. UGLY!!! UGLY!!! UGLY!!! that is all I can say about it. Will never use Teleflora again. When I spend $100 I want something that looks like I spent $100 not what I would pick up in the grocery store. I actually think the flowers from the grocery store would have been prettier.
Ordered an arrangement for our boss for Boss's Day and paid for the the deluxe version as I wanted the arrangement to be fuller and have more beautiful flowers ( I did understand that the final arrangement might not look exactly the same as what was online). Boss received a small vase and the flower colors were awful. It looked like the florist just threw things together and didn't "arrange" it nicely. Very disappointed to say the least !!! Contacted Teleflora by phone and they said to send a picture of what we received and they would provide a follow up by email. Received email stating they were very sorry about the arrangement and insured me that they had contacted the florist who told them they had fulfulled the order to the highest of quality (they had both pictures to compare what I ordered with what we received and there is definitely a difference in quality) and that they hoped I would use Teleflora in the future. Are you kidding me !!! No offer for refund or delivery of a new arrangement or anything to please the customer. Very embarrassed that I let my co-workers and boss down with purchasing from Teleflora !!! She deserves so much more!! I will go back to using 1800FLOWERS as they guarantee your satisfaction !!! DO NOT USE TELEFLORA !! All they care about is the money that goes into their company from niave purchasers like myself !!
Called order in on Monday late afternoon. Had a special request for certain type of flowers. Recipient received flowers on Wednesday and said the bouquet was so beautiful. I will definitely use them again.
I was on a business trip when our anniversary rolled around.
I ordered what I believed was a nice floral arrangement and a box of chocolates that I expected be of high quality.
I travel a lot in my line of work and, regrettably, I am often absent for birthdays, anniversaries and other red-letter days. So I have considerable experience using services like this.
The quality of the flowers and the box of chocolates delivered were so appalling that it would have been far classier if I had arranged for someone to pick up a bottle of Ripple at the local minimarket and deliver it to my wife (opened and half consumed).
I complained to Teleflora. They were polite and offered a copuon for a significant discount on my next purchase.
Teleflora just doesn't get it.
This isn't about discounts.
I will not offend a woman I treasure by sending her more trash, no matter how large the discount.
Teleflora is off my list permanently.
Our family was in the process of planning a funeral for my cousin. At 9pm the night before the funeral, we found out that the person who was supposed to get the flowers for on top of the casket didnt order them. I looked online and placed an order with teleflora. The flowers arrived at the funeral home the next morning and they were a beautiful arrangement. Thank you teleflora for coming through when we were in a bind. I would definitely use them again.
I ordered the Teleflora Island Princess, premium, to the tune of $88.35 for a dear friend's birthday. When I did not get a confirmation of delivery by 8:30 at night I called Teleflora. After pressing the key for questions about an existing delivery I was on hold for about 1/2 hour. Of course the wait time to put an order in would never have been that long! When the customer service representative answered, I asked if the flowers had been delivered. The answer came as quite a surprise to me. She said that the florist had called the funeral home and the funeral wasn't until tomorrow and they wanted the flowers to be fresh. In a very loud and aggravated tone, I said "it was her birthday today, not her funeral". It says all over my order that the flowers were for a birthday, not a funeral. She quickly excused herself and consulted with a supervisor. She then offered me 50% off the flowers and an apology to my friend for the late flowers. It's too late-I missed her birthday now! We'll see if the refund arrives. Note to self-next time-read the reviews first, not after the botch up and NEVER USE TELEFLORA AGAIN!
I purchased the Brilliant Birthday Blooms deluxe version and it was maybe a third of the size of what the basic appeared to be online. I believe $70 worth of flowers should have been fuller and larger. I will not order again from Teleflora and would have been better off going to the farmers market and picking out my own bouquet.
Ordered flowers for my sister for her 60th Birthday to be delivered at the Sheraton Resort Fiji, the flowers were ordered for delivery on the 19th July flowers were delivered late afternoon on the 22nd and they were packing to get ready to come home. I specially requested these flowers be delivered on the morning of the 19th so imagine my shock when my sister rung to say that the flowers had arrived late on the 22nd and they were packing to go home. Floral Alliance who passed the order on to Teleflora who got Tadra Florist in Fiji to do the flowers, all 3 have passed the buck not one of them has a business head amongst them and at the end of the day $146 for a bunch of flowers to be delivered too late is not on. Not one of them has offered to send my sister the flowers to her home on the Gold Coast. I have used the Roses Only site before to order flowers and they have always been delivered on time and they have been beautiful, I will not use Floral Alliance or Tadra Flowers in Fiji and I will be careful when I see the Teleflora sign. An expensive lesson!!!!
I also wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered. I ordered flowers for my aunt, who was sick, for same day delivery. Well, when they never showed up, we had to call her to see if they came and totally ruin the surprise. They were supposed to be there Wednesday and Friday morning I sat on hold for 15 minutes and finally had to hang up. Then I got an email 3 hours later stating they were unable to deliver on the expected date (no kidding). 2 days after they were supposed to arrive!! I have a call in to have someone call me, so we'll see. I want my money back!!!
THE FLORIST CALLED & TOLD ME "IT WASN'T WORTH IT TO HER" TO DELIVER THE FLOWERS TO MY HOUSE AND THAT SHE WOULD BE WILLING TO MEET ME AT A KROGER 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD SO I COULD GET THEM FROM HER! I TOLD HER I PAID A $15 SERVICE FEE TO HAVE MY HUSBAND'S FATHER'S DAY FLOWERS DELIVERED TO HIM AT OUR HOUSE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? WHAT KIND OF FLORISTS IS TELEFLORA GIVING THESE ORDERS OUT TO??? I MEAN HOW FRICKIN LAZY CAN THEY BE???????? DO WHAT YOU ARE PAID TO DO!!!!GRADE: F-
As some others, I ordered flowers for Mothers' Day, yet not on the specific holiday because I thought it would be less hectic, but they were never delivered. I contacted them to find out why and they told me there was a problem with the flower shop and they would be delivered the following day. I was never notified of this, I specifically paid for shipping on a specific day. They said they would include an apology letter with the flowers, which also never happened. They offered to give me a discount off my next order - AS IF I WOULD ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I emailed their customer service demanding that my shipping charges be refunded since the flowers weren't shipped when they were supposed to. It was not my fault that they work with incompetent flower shops. They emailed me back that they would give me about $10 back on my account - not my credit card, but teleflora account. Again, I am refusing to use them ever again, so this shows they do not care to make things right. I recommend that no one use this horrible company with zero customer service. Giving me a discount on my next order that will never occur is no skin off their back and reiterates why I will never use them again.
We all apparently had the same experience. I wish I saw these reviews before I ordered! I ordered the Wednesday before Mother's Day - plenty of time for a company to prepare the order or even notify me if they could not deliver on time.
However! This company did not bother notifying me that they were unable to deliver until the middle of Mother's Day! At which point, there's nothing I can get my mother to make her day special.
I spent a good deal of money on the flowers because I figured my mother was worth it, but Teleflora ruined my chance to wish her a good Mother's Day and make her day special. I was incredibly angry and hope no one has to go through this terrible company and horrible experience.
My recommandation is just order directly from the local florist and avoid Teleflora which is merely a middle man company.
Hope you all have better future Mother Day's experiences. Good luck to you all.
Grrr ... Freaking Teleflora.com!!! The Wednesday before Mother's Day I ordered flowers for my mother and grandmother to be delivered. I had paid $20 for an amazon coupon for $40 off the order, so I got $20 off each order. Unfortunately, because my grandmother lives in Placerville (which I guess is the middle of nowhere or something - like 30 minutes from the state capitol ...) the earliest delivery they had was Monday after Mother's day. Then on Tuesday, I get an e.mail that they were unable to deliver on Monday and would I be okay with them delivering on Wednesday? On Thursday, I get a phone message to call them, but they close at 5pm, so I was unable to call. On Friday I get an e.mail that the order has been canceled! So I ordered some fruit from ediblearrangements.com, which arrived the very next day and was PERFECT! Today, I got my credit card statement and they have not credited me back for the order (not to mention the additional $20 that should have come off of my Mom's arrangement), but, of course, they are CLOSED, so I cannot even call them to complain!!!!
It looked like they'd stopped by the side of the road and picked the flowers. It was not even remotely close to what was represented on their website. I complained and they waited 3 weeks to respond, telling me that since it had been so long, the flowers would be dead so there was no way they could have them collected and resend a new arrangement.
My husband and I ordered a cute Mother's Day arrangement for our daughter who is a new mother. We decided to order through Teleflora because the flower arrangement we wanted to order got such rave reviews. Although the arrangement was delivered the day before Mother's Day, as we had requested, it looked NOTHING like the photo on the Teleflora website, and the vase, which was supposed to be square glass with a polka dotted ribbon, was a pink hobnail glass pitcher! ugh! . (She sent us a photo after she received the flowers). I called Teleflora and spoke to an agent, who apologized, but offered no refund. He asked if we would like the correct arrangement to be sent to my daughter and exchanged for the one she previously received. I said yes and he said they would be delivered the next day. I phone my daughter and told her about the mix-up with the order, and to expect the correct arrangement to be delivered the next day. Well, the florist never showed up the next day, so I called Teleflora again and told them that the delivery was not made. The agent contacted the florist shop, who was responsible for the delivery, came back on the line and told me that the arrangement would be delivered the next day. It was delivered, and did contain a few more flowers than the one before but this time the flowers were in a hideous, pinkish-purple vase. When I saw the photo of the new arrangement, all I could do was apologize to my daughter. We spent over $80.00 on flowers, and the two arrangements together weren't even worth that much!!! I don't think the reviews on the Teleflora website are accurate. The reason I say this is that I sent them a personal review about this experience and it was never posted. It's hard to believe that out of over 700 customers, only a handful were not happy with their flowers, especially in light of my experience with this company.
I ordered some flowers for my mom this past Mother's Day. I decided to go with Teleflora because I bought a voucher from Amazon which would give me a discount. Anyways, I ordered these beautiful purple tulips in a clear vase with a matching purple ribbon and a Mother's Day balloon for $45 total. What I received couldn't have been more different!!. I received these hideous yellow carnations (wilted) with a teal colored ribbon and a pink and black balloon that said "Best Wishes"....WTF?? I understand their policy that if that specific flower is not available they will substitute but this was ridiculous. In their policy it states they will try to match the color, THEME ( duh Mother's Day not best wishes morons)....or they will substitute for flowers of equal or GREATER value. They DID NOT match my color or theme and there's no way those ugly dying carnations valued as much a the beautiful tulips I ordered. Let me also state that this was not a last minute order so there's no excuse. I'm trying to get a refund but their giving me the run around because they never sent me a confirmation email and claim they can't find my order. Ugh. Go with 1800flowers I've never had problems with them like this. This company's service is horrible!!!! I am so upset.
I ordered flowers for my girlfriend's birthday and received confirmation. 530 PM arrives on the day of delivery and nothing.... Chatted with customer service and was assured that flowers would be delivered the next day. I was told that they were out of the flowers that I ordered and this was the cause of the delay. I accepted a small refund and agreed to let them deliver the flowers the day after her birthday.
Day after birthday:
3 o'clock and no flowers. Called Teleflora and they said that the flowers were now to be delivered on Day 3, two days after the birthday. Had to request the ordered be canceled and request a refund. Fool me once....
Afterward, called the requested local florist and they never received the order in the first place!
Who runs this company, The Nigerian Prince?
I wish I had found this site before ordering. Unlike many reviewers I did receive flowers but no where close to the flowers I ordered for my wife for Mother's Day. I order the Possibly Pink arrangement of Pink lilies, peach roses, lavender cushion mums, pink carnations, and lavender wax flowers. what I got was lavender daisies with some small red roses, white carnations and some green branches.
an email with screen shots and photos that I sent was never responded to so after a week I called to complain and was told their policy is to substitute flowers if what I ordered isn't available. I was offered a 50% discount on my next purchase (which I won't use and probably won't even get as no email has been sent to me yet with the promo code)
Luckily I had bought a voucher from amazon local and amazon was very polite and refunded me the voucher price after complaining to them about advertising for such a terrible business. Amazon is Great!
Basically this sites motto should be pick a vase and we will fill it with what we feel is $XX.XX amount of flowers. If we feel like filling the order at all
I ordered flowers for mother's day to be delievered on a Friday. Telflora claims the flowers were delivered, but my mother says she never receieved them at her office. When I called Teleflora to inquire about the issue they said they left the flowers with the receptionist. Ok, well my mom spoke to the receptionist and she never receieved anything. I called Teleflora again to get the name of the receptionist and the response I receieved was "It was definately a lady, we dont know her name". Ok Seems legit. Gee thanks! So basically I lost my money, and my mother hates me. Here is my commercial pitch/jingle for Teleflora::: If you want to throw your money down the drain and look like a bad son, Ord-a from Teleflora!
I ordered flowers for Mother's Day like so many others and, like so many others, have gotten NO service to date. I ordered flowers to be delivered on May 13th. I gave my mom a heads up to be expecting a surprise. She called me at 4:30 PM on 5/13 to say she hadn't gotten anything. I called Teleflora and was given the standard apology and offered a 20% coupon for future order. Uh, I don't think so. I could google that offer any day. I demanded some sort of compensation for no service, like a refund of the service charge. Rep finally offered 20% off and flowers to be delivered on Tuesday, May 14th. I was so frustrated. I said fine. The I checked my receipt to see exactly what I paid in service charges. $15.99 for NO service. I called back and got another apology. I told them I wanted a refund of the full service charge. Then I got the definition of service charge...wire fee paid to independent florist, blah, blah, blah. I insisted on a refund of the service charge at least. I finally informed the rep that this is the worst floral service I have ever received and would not use Teleflora in the future. She offered 40% off the order with delivery on 5/14.
It is 4:00 pm on 5/14, two days after Mother's Day, and still no flowers. I called Teleflora AGAIN. I was told that there was no florist open in the area so they didn't get delivered today. WHAT??? My mom is not in a rural area. There are many florists. I asked why no one mentioned this yesterday in the two phone calls that I made. No answer. I asked why on the website when you choose a delivery day it makes no mention that the company may not bother to deliver on that day or the next. There was no mention of closed floral shops or anything. This time the rep offered 50% off with delivery on Wednesday, May 15th. I took it. I'm curious to see if they'll show tomorrow. My mom said I should just cancel the order all together. She appreciates the thought, but this service is ridiculous.
I will stick with proflowers.com. I've had good luck with them in the past.
Ordered flowers for my boyfriend's birthday to be delivered May 7th. They didn't show. Rescheduled for the 8th. No show. Rescheduled for the 9th-10th, no show. Rescheduled for today-no show. Several hours on the phone with customer service over the span of a week, I was finally told today that my order had been "released" & that they may NOT arrive AT ALL now. I am so angry that I've been yanked around for a full week! Customer service was also ZERO help. What a waste of time and energy! SPARE YOURSELF and find another delivery service...this one is nothing but a joke!
My daughter ordered flowers for in another state. She received an email that the flowers were delivered (when they were not). So she called me to check and see if I liked the flowers, I told her they were not delivered. She called Teleflora and reported that the flowers were not delivered. Teleflora told HER to call back on Monday (the next day). She called back only to find out that the flowers were not even made up (apparently the florist ran out of the flowers she ordered?). When she questioned why she was send an email that said the flowers were delivered - Teleflora told her that the email was generated when the truck went out (without her flowers)?? She asked for a refund and they told her they could give her a 30% refund - what? They didn't do anything and they only offered her 30% in return. She argued and was told she would get 100% refund - but only after she insisted. Don't use this company - there are lots of other choices!
The flowers actually arrived (unlike other customers here) but that's not necessarily a good thing. They arrived with brown edges and wilted within hours. They look so terrible I told my mom to forget them and I'm throwing them out.
I emailed customer service. No response. I called customer service and was given the option for a call back because of "higher than normal call volume" (probably due to the crap flowers and service) so they called back and hung up immediately. Twice.
I called back and waited for 45 minutes for a human until I had to hang up and continue with my life.
I wish there were a "zero" star rating.
Like others, I feel that I should've read reviews about Teleflora before using it. This company is a scam!
My boyfriend and I had ordered flowers for his mother to be delivered the day before mother's day. We had placed the order on Friday afternoon, and I received the confirmation right away thinking everything will be great. On Saturday morning, I received an email saying that my order has been canceled because local florist was unable to fulfill the order. I called right away to ask if they would be able to use other local florists and have the flowers be sent the next day (Sunday May 12th). I waited on the phone while the representative check on other florist, and after a long wait he said that he had confirmed with another florist to deliver the flower I ordered on the next day. He said he would send me an email confirmation about the order and will make my order high priority for delivery the next day (Sunday) between 9am-5pm.
After that I thought my problem has been resolved and a flower delivery on Mother's Day would still be ok. However, when Sunday comes around, we still have not received a phone call from my boyfriend's mom, so I made my boyfriend to call and check on the status of our order. When he called Teleflora ( around 11am PST), the automated system does not work for checking order statuses. I thought it was just that they have a high demand, so we tried a few times later, still no answer. Around 3pm PST (6pm EST) which is already past the time they had given me. I tried calling again, this time however, instead of being cut right off, there's a recorded message saying that their call center business hour is from 9am-1pm EST due the holiday. I did not know that you can get mother's day off too now. Anyways, I tried calling one more time. This time, instead of choosing the option of checking on my status, I chose the option to order flower. Guess what, someone picked up right away. So instead of trying to answer and solve current issues for customers who have already paid, they decide to totally ignore them, but they are still welcoming other naive new customers who have no idea about their horrible services. At this point I was so angry, and the first thing I said to the representative is that why is it that there's someone there to order flower and not someone there to check confirmations. She did go ahead and asked for my confirmation and checked on my order. She first said my order has been canceled and I went on telling them that I've been lied to and that their unreliability has caused me lots of inconvenience, since I've already told the recipient that she will receive flowers. She apologized and as all other customers, she offered me a 50% off coupon for the next order. I told her I would never ever use their service ever again and demanded to speak to the manager. She said that her manager was busy and did not transfer me to a manager. She placed me on hold and later told me that she can have the order delivered the next day again because she had already contacted another florist. This time really guarantee that it will be the order with the highest priority. She also said that she will give me a 30% refund, because I said that I've paid >$20 in service fee just to receive the horrible service they have. Finally I double and tripled checked with her to send me a confirmation email and that it for sure will be delivered tomorrow (Monday) since the florist will not be so busy after Mother's Day.
Now it comes Monday and I still have not received anything about the order at all, and I called again earlier at ~4pm EST to check on the status again. What a surprise, same set of lies happened again, and this time, as I was trying to explain to them how their incompetency caused me a great deal of trouble the representative HUNG UP on me! I'm furious at this point and so tired of dealing with their service, so I finally called back one more time to cancel my order. The representative said I will receive a full refund, but I'm going to call my credit card company just to make sure since this company is so unreliable.
This is will be the only time and last time to use Teleflora ever again! And I have learned to always look up reviews before using a service company.
MY MOM IS FLOWERLESS ON MOTHER'S DAY BECAUSE OF TELEFLORA! SHAME ON YOU!!!!
3 day ago- ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered ON mother's day, May 12th
Last night @ 5pm- received an email saying the same thing Doug (from 2 reviews below mine) received stating they will not be able to deliver my Mother's Day flowers due to unusually high order volume"
--> immediately called the customer service and complained how outrageous and ridiculous it is to cancel my order at so last minute! the customer rep I spoke with told me she'll make a "special request" to the florist and make sure the flowers get delivered on Mother's Day. She also told me after she speaks to the florist, she'll send me a confirmation email before 9pm.
Last night @ 9pm- never received a confirmation email. called Teleflora, the guy I spoke to said there's no record of the "special request" made to the florist, therefore, as far as the system shows, my order was cancelled. i was LIVID at this point, argued with him for OVER AN HOUR insisting he find me another florist who CAN deliver, he put me on hold for a long time, came back, told me he found another florist, took my credit card info again, charged my credit card, and gave me the order confirmation number. At this point, I was relieved thinking my mom will be getting her flowers... oh boy, was I NOT prepared for what's to come.
Mother's Day @ 6pm- found out my mom has yet to receive her flowers, so called Teleflora ONCE AGAIN, and the customer rep, after putting me on hold to supposedly call the florist, REASSURED me the flowers were out for delivery so my mom will receive them soon. I KNEW i couldn't trust them so I called again, spoke with a different customer rep, who told me the same thing. Still not convinced, I asked for the florist's contact info JUST IN CASE but she told me they're not allowed to give out that information...
Mother's Day @ 9pm: my mom still hadn't received her flowers. Oh boy, was I FURIOUS... called the customer service, who was extremely UNAPOLOGETIC & UNHELPFUL. terrible combo. provided no explanation to what was said to me previously, was unwilling to look into it, and unwilling to provide any offer except "30% discount on my next order". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? these people think that's enough for all that I've gone through, all that time & energy wasted, and for my mom not receiving flowers on Mother's Day because of them???
Mother's Day @ 10pm: spoke with the supposedly SUPERVISOR JASON who turned out to provide the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THEM ALL. Jason just wasted my time telling me he can't offer anything but a full refund (Uh DUH!) and a 30% discount on the next order. He unapologetically explained he is just following the company's guidelines.. even though he's the supervisor.. RIGHT.. when I asked him ways to speak to someone who has some kinda authority, he, of course, claimed he doesn't know any of their contact info.
In conclusion, Teleflora = Your Worst Nightmare!
*If they hadn't LIED to me every single time I spoke with them and just told me the TRUTH from the get-go, I would've had time to find myself another florist! If this hasn't happened to you yet, you just got lucky those times. Trust me, order from elsewhere!

I wish I could get that warning to pop up on google when people are looking for this company! I have now ordered from Teleflora twice. The first time was last year for mother's day for my mom. She lives in another state so we are not able to spend the holiday with her most of the time so sending flowers is all I can do. Last year I ordered an adorable arrangement in a hat box type vase. The flowers were pink and white and the arrangement cost around $60. This was not even close to what was delivered!! I am well aware that florist shop can run out of certain vases or flowers (especially around busy flower holidays like mother's day) but what they sent was not at all comparable to what I ordered! I was so angry. I called teleflora and their solution was they could pick the flowers up and then have the correct ones delivered later. Um, NO! I am not okay with someone picking the flowers up when it was not my, or her, mistake! So after a very long argument they finally had the correct flowers delivered, she was able to keep the incorrect ones, and they gave me a full refund. Even with how angry they made me last year, I gave them another chance this year since they did end up reconciling the situation to my satisfaction last year. BAD MISTAKE!!
I ordered a $67 arrangement this year to be delivered to my mom on the 10th. The arrangement was the posh pink arrangement which consisted of a pink square vase with three different kind of flowers in it and pretty much no filler flowers. I was questioning why my mom hadn't mentioned the flowers being delivered on the 10th but I didn't want to ask and ruin the surprise so I decided to wait and call teleflora today. Well first off when I called there was a huge wait time and I could not stay on hold. Later, I received an email from them saying that the flower shop ran out of what I ordered "but not to worry, a beautiful bouquet has been delivered in its place", it also included a 30% off coupon for my next order because of the inconvenience. What was delivered looked the a $8 bouquet I could get in the grocery store with a plane tall circular vase. Seriously the flowers in it were soooo cheap and consisted mostly of filler flowers! Also, I was rather aggravated that they were delivered a day late because my mom works overnights. I had chosen the 10th because it would have been okay for them to come by during the day and it would not disturb her sleep during the day. The day that they were delivered she needed to sleep during the day. SO angry again! I called teleflora and was just going to request a full refund and deal with a local floral shop and cut out the middle man, since clearly they are the issue! But a full refund was only an option if they picked the flowers up from my mother! seriously!?? I cannot stand that they think this is any sort of solution! If she kept the flowers our only choice was a 50% refund. The delivery of the correct flowers was not even an option! I would not have expected a full refund and to be able to keep the flowers if they were even close to comparable to what I ordered. But the weren't! They also were not arranged AT ALL! the three roses in the bouquet were all on one side, the couple of Mims were all on one side, and the two unopened lilies were on another side. I could have done a better job.... by two year old nephew could have done a better job!! The 50% refund to allow her to keep them was also unreasonable because the value of the flowers delivered was not even close to 50% of what I paid.
It was Saturday evening by the time I was dealing with all of this (after 15 minutes of being on hold and then half an hour arguing with them) and the flower shop would not be able to pick up the flowers until Monday or Tuesday. I figured since the flowers were such poor quality they would probably be dying a couple of days anyway so I finally agreed to a full refund and for the flower shop to have the choice to pick up the flowers in a few days.
Since Teleflora orders are filled by local flower shops, I was convinced that the first time it was the local flower shop's fault. I figured out the name of the flower shop from the first year and made sure that is was not among my options this year. The fact that the same issue has happened two years in a row, with two different flower shops, I am quite sure the issue is in fact Teleflora. They play the middle man and approve order changes of less quality. The flower shop would normally discount your order if they had to compromise the quality, but teleflora pockets the money and you are stuck with crap!
I ordered an arrangement to be sent to a dear friends funeral service. I specifically made sure to let them know the time the services began and they assured me they would be there in the morning. When we arrived at the chapel for the service, I did not see the flowers we ordered. I asked for an all white arrangement and there was absolutely none there that were all white.
After the services I gave the funeral director our last name & asked if there were any flowers for our departed friend just to be sure. They said that they log in every delivery and that there were NONE received on our behalf.
I called Teleflora and was offered a 50% savings on our next order... What?! I declined that offer. Then the rep offered to have the flowers re-delivered. I had to explain again that the funeral services were all ready over & that would be pointless. As a final offer, they said they'd give me 50% credit for my order that was NEVER delivered. They received 100% payment, why should they not credit me the full amount?! Pathetic.
I was not rude, but I was firm and asked them if I could speak to a supervisor because the options they gave me were not sufficient. I was placed on hold for a good 15-20 minutes (my husband was able to drive from the funeral site all the way across town to the reception the family held and we had to wait in the parking lot to get an answer).
The rep finally got back on the line and let me know that they would give me a full refund. Geez, thanks. I would hope so. My friends family did not get flowers from us, which was the least we could do for them. I was beyond disappointed with the idiotic suggestion that they could re-deliver the flowers. It was a funeral service with specific timing. Never again will I use Teleflora.
I used an Amazon Local voucher to purchase flowers for my wife's birthday. I specifically asked that they be delivered in the afternoon before we went out to dinner. I called Customer Service at Teleflora at 3pm and was told they were going on the florist's delivery truck. By 7pm the flowers had not arrived so we went to dinner. When we got back home, they had arrived but were hardly worth it. The bouquet had relatively cheap flowers given its cost and were not artfully arranged at all. Someone threw some flowers and filler in a vase. I will not be ordering from Teleflora again!
I wish I read this site before ordering flowers from them. I too ordered flowers that were never delivered. When asked why they said that they were not able to deliver them. They said they called and emailed me, however, that's not true. They had the cell number of the person they were delivering them to but never called them either.
So moral of the story, find someone else to deliver your flowers!
I ordered a $100 plant as a gift for my fiance. After never receiving a delivery confirmation, I called teleflora the day after it was supposed to be delivered. The plant had not been delivered, and they didn't even let me know why or call me to explain. I had to call them. THEN, because my fiance was leaving town, I had to ask that the plant be delivered on a different day, because if it went out the next day he wouldn't receive it. So the plant came on Thursday, but it was the WRONG plant, and about half the cost of the one I ordered. So I contacted teleflora again, (waited on hold for 30 minutes) and was told I that if I wanted a full refund they would have to take the plant back. The most they could offer me was 50%, which was exactly the price difference of the plant, and the service fee. SO basically, nothing. I took the offer, not wanting to deal with it anymore. I didn't receive the correct refund. They didn't refund the $17.99 service fee so I had to call again. THEN, my fiance received a call from the florist saying they need to go pick up his plant because "the person who sent it didn't like it." TOTALLY INSANE!!! This has been the worst experience ever and I will absolutely never order from this company again. What a nightmare.
I have ordered flowers through this company twice. The first time customer service said that they were delivered and my friend never received them. They insisted that they were delivered and someone must have taken them. After complaining, they offered 50%on a future order. I was played a fool and used it. This time I asked for next day delivery, which is today. After I had not received any confirmation around 3pm, I called customer service and they could not get ahold of the florist in the area. I called, again around 6pm and customer service said they got ahold of the florist and that my order was out on the delivery truck and would still be delivered, today. NO! It was never delivered and was a really important delivery. I am a poor graduate student and now Teleflora has robbed me of nearly $100. I have NEVER dealt with such a horrible company. I clearly should have read the reviews, first. How is this company still around?
I have used this company many times as my flower delivery company of choice due to positive past experiences, but this is definitely the last time they'll be getting my business.
I paid $50 for flowers for my Grandparents, because my great Grandmother just died. I selected same day delivery, which was available, on 2/18. Then on 2/20, two days later, I received an e-mail (didn't bother to call) telling me my order had been cancelled (no explanation). I called their customer service line, and they told me they had cancelled the order because same day delivery was not possible. Why then, did you offer it as an option, and charge me for it? Why would you not deliver itt the following day, like mail that doesn't arrive on time?
The charming southern woman I spoke to "uncancelled" the order for me, and assured me it would be delivered on Friday 2/22. Then I received a call saying my card was not able to be processed. I called them back just now (its now 2pm on Friday), and they had to charge my card AGAIN because supposedly they had refunded the original charge, which is funny because I don't have a credit, pending or otherwise, on my card for the original card. So I now am out over $100 for flowers that are maybe going to be delivered today, 4 days after my same-day order. No explanation for why they didn't just deliver them the 2nd morning.
All I want them to do is deliver flowers for my
I ordered flowers on Monday, February 18. On line, the price was reduced by $10.00 - but when I ordered them I was asked for the coupon number to get the $10.00 off. When I stated the lower price was the price they were advertising on their website the customer service person mumbled something and said she wasn't authorized to reduce the price. Fine - what's $10. These were for my boss who was in the hospital.
Received order confirmation, not only did I have to pay the higher price, there's also the $15 delivery fee. So now, what I thought was going to be about $50 is now closer to 80. But hey, the email confirmation said they would be delivered that same day and it's only money we all wanted our boss to receive the flowers.
I received an email after 8:00 pm that night that simply said there was a problem with my order and a link, please click here. I did and changed the delivery date to the next day. OK people can be busy, maybe the local florist shop didn't get the order in time, so 1 day won't make that much of a difference.
I received a phone call about 8:00 PM on the 19th - guess what, they couldn't be delivered. I asked what I needed to do to get them delivered. Lots of apologies, could they deliver the next day, more apologies. I should have canceled the order right then and there, but I didn't.
So now it's the 20th. Our boss calls with hurt feelings because we hadn't remembered her while she was in the hospital (meaning the flowers STILL hadn't been delivered). I called customer service. A sweet young thing told me that they weren't delivered on the 18th because it was a holiday. Apparently the entire city of Indianapolis closes for President's day. Really? After being put on hold for 20 minutes (I'm too stubborn to give up) another customer service rep gets on the phone and tells me the problem is the hydrangia in the arrangement. She knows they're hard to get especially after a big holiday (Assuming valentines day, hydrangia's have apparently replaced roses as the flower of choice). She asks if it would be OK to substitute the hydrangia - I respond yes with another purple flower - just keep the pretty purple vase and get them delivered ASAP. She said she'd get right on it, and told me to call after 11 the next day to verify delivery.
It's now the 21st. I call after 11 and, you guessed it, no delivery. The information they had was substitution on the vase, but no substitution on the flowers. Exactly opposite of what I said. I made it perfectly clear that I expected the flowers delivered today.
At about 2:00 pm, Teleflora calls me and tells me the local florist tried to deliver them to the hospital, but no one with my bosses name was a patient there. Really? Other florists had managed to deliver to her in the hospital. A colleague called the hospital and was told my bosses room number without problem.
While talking to the first customer service rep, I get another call from yet another customer service rep from Teleflora - same story, no one with that name is in the hospital. I give the room number to both customer service reps. I pray that the flowers are actually delivered.
And, I think, based on all the false information they have given (not honoring the advertised price, all florists in Indianapolis being closed on President's day, no substitution on flowers, substitution of the vase and no one by my bosses name in the hospital)
I DESERVE A FULL REFUND!
The president's name is Jeff Bennett. The corporate phone number is 310-966-9199. Their fax number is 310-966-3658. I doubt if you'd actually be able to reach Jeff Bennett who is probably out playing golf somewhere and is unaware of the shoddy rip-off his company is (or doesn't care). But for those of you for whom writing an opinion here is not enough - send them a fax, call them. This company needs to be investigated for consumer fraud. For that, you can contact the federal trade commission. We've all been ripped off by this company - let's not be the silent majority.
