Tesco must need the money
Tesco must be really feeling the pinch when they sent me a voucher to honor a price promise then took it back because I didn't use it within 28 days. I do a large shop once a month which is always over £100. When I phoned to complain I was told that 28 days was ample time to redeem. To me, a price promise should not have a time limit on it and if you are overcharged for something then the refund should be given no matter what timeline. I also notice the the 15% promotion they are doing at the moment on anyone buying more than 3 bottles of wine does not apply to Scotland. Now customer services said it was outwith their control and it was down to the Scottish Government policy. I would say I have been one of their first online customers but that is my last online order I will be giving them and will give the other grocery companies my business in the future.
