Good range of products

The range of products has always been good compared to other supermarkets.Average fruit and vegetable section not as good as Morrisons.Very good wine section.
They are let down by careless home delivery staff who clog the aisles with large trolleys chatting and poor responses to comments.

Shakey start but great!!

Had issues placing my order initially (it vanished and i missed my delivery spot) but once i got a bit more aquainted with the site i found it easy and useful. Saved me a fortune compared to walking round the store! showed me some offers i would have otherwise missed and the little delivery chap was hugely helpful and friendly and it was POURING when he arrived. All in all a great service and i will be using it again!

Tesco is ok for groceries if you are going to use them thatday, but you can't buy to last fora few days. They do have some bargains.

you can save so much you when you know when offers expire and are warned if you are outside of offer unlike asda you take up offer only to find when you get your shopping offers have finished and charged the full amount

Reward Points

I've just exchanged £10 woth of clubcard points for £50 worth of wrist bands for fantasy island. That set up the whole family and had a great day, for just £10. Extreme

A Company that is slowly turning our world into a giant Teso, with its constant need to ruin other smaller, local shops and businesses there seems to be no end to there selfish ways. Only interested in making a buck and deciding where to strike next, whilst smoking on a Gurkha Black Dragon cigar no doubt.

Rubbish in most regards

I have my groceries delivered by Tesco and you couldn't want a better bunch of friendly and helpful guys. Shame the rest of the company isn't like that. I actually feel sorry when I ring Dundee to complain, which is at least once a month and could be more if I really could be bothered, because I'm sure they have the worst job in British industry.

Every week there are cock-ups. They run out of stuff all the time, especially stuff on special offer, and they don't use their heads when it comes to substitutions. It is particularly irritating for me since I have been housebound for the past five months, and it seems impossible for them to understand that, say, a loaf of bread with a two-day life is not much use to me when I can't get out to buy more.

The world's third largest retailer must be able to do better than this.

Tesco Credit Card

I have been a big Tesco consumer but recent experience with there credit card has changed my mind, i was forced to have a low limit (7.5 x less then i was offered with my bank) but because of double club card points i took out the card. i kept being charged fee's i could do nothing about that more then cancelled out the fees, trying to phone them was a nightmare as they seem to share lines with Little woods... go figure. Rubish, won't be re-insuring my car with them out of principle and shop there rarely now (before i spen approx £150 a week + £50-£60 on fuel). your loss Tesco.

CRAP SERVICE

USED THEM RECENTLY ONLINE FOR GROCERIES. SEVERAL OF THE SO CALLED FRESH FRUIT WERE MOULDY. ROTTEN OR LOOKED VERY SAD. COMPLAINED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WANTED REFUND AND WRITTEN REPLY ALL IVE HAD SO FAR IS EMAILSAYING VERY BUSY AND TELLING ME TO CALL THEM. NEVER HAVE LIKED THEM. NOW I KNOW WHY. WAITROSE AND SAINSBURY STREETS AHEAD.

Reliable service

Very little in the way of problems, but a reliable service with regular food home deliveries.
Quite competitive pricing against their competitors which are close by but Tesco always have a great deal of choice where the other local stores fail.

Handy

Gteat for grocerys without having to drag two under twos around the supermarket. Generally their substitutions are good. And they always deliver on time. Delivery charges can be a little steep though depending on when you need it.

Rubbish refused to sell us cigarettes

Would not buy from them again they have totally lost my custom. We want to buy some fags but my mate has no I'd at all and they refused to serve us. But then a 16 year old girl did not get asked to be I'd so how can they get away with this

Very poor home delivery service

It is the second time we are ordering home delivery from tesco.com. The first time my boyfriend got delivery an hour earlier than the booked slot. And the second time is now: food is already late 40 minutes. We called them around 40 min ago to ask if our food is arriving today or not. And they told us that it will take them 15 min to deliver. However, we are already waiting extra 40 min. I hope we will get our food today! And the most annoying thing is that for this reason we have to stay at home and wait for them! Very poor.. I have never had even similar problems with Sainsbury's. It is definitely the last time when I am ordering from tesco.com.

Every little doesn't always help

Really not a fan of tesco. I mean, I like them for their convenience, but the value and quality of a lot of their products is simply bad. The homewares for example are on price parity with the middle class shops like John Lewis but are actually really flimsy in quality. I bought some tesco storage crates which are moulded plastic and the quality control just isn't there - on the shelf 3 or 4 were broken already and having brought mine home they have suffered the same fate. And they were £9 each!!
