Efficient, knowledgeable and professional

I set up my company, Bethian Heathcare Ltd a couple of years ago using the company warehouse, and it was a seamless, easy process.
Having decided I now needed a website, I organised this via the company warehouse, having had several quotes. I have to say the speed and professionalism of all concerned, in particular the design team, has been brilliant, and with a website I can manage content myself I am delighted.
I would (and have) recommended the company warehouse to any business, whether it is to assist in the start up process, to the web design and hosting, the service you will receive is second to none.

Friendly, Excellent 5 Star Service

I had needed a quick fix to get my company registration as business idea I had been pushing across to a prospect overseas had finally received a nod.

I was very impressed by the quick response call from Natalie Dambowy, the business consultant who is by far the best advisor to say the least, that I have dealt with over the phone in recent years. She was very informed and gave me FREE legal and professional business advice and assistance through every step of the registration process. Her approach to every question I asked gave me a real sense of assurance that I was dealing with the right partners. She even advised on the Best Banks to deal with, Branding etc. As promised, the Registration was done within a couple of hours and and also downloaded all relevant documents via my online account within 24hours.

I would highly recommend the Company Warehouse any day. 10/10

mis-selling products, very poor service and its not as cheap as they make out!

I started a limited company through The Company Warehouse in late 2011, just wanting the standard package which looked easy to set up and seemed cheap. The chap in customer service (Stuart) seemed helpful and knowledgeable and soon had me agreeing to purchase 5 products including 'data protection notification' which I asked if we really needed explaining the business criteria. He assured me that we would require this product so I paid an extra £114 for it. I also purchased the 'registered office' package so all of our company mail was forwarded to us through the company warehouse (another £60). All in all the set up cost us over £290. I was then told by a relative that we did not need the data protection for our business so I got in touch with the ICO who confirmed that I didn't need to have it for my business. I then contacted TCW again to inform them that I didn't require it and to ask for a refund. i was told I had to raise a 'ticket' on their website before they could look at it. weeks later and after numerous follow ups I was told that they were refusing to refund me the £114 because they felt they had acted in an acceptable manner and not mis-sold the product. I then told them some months later (March) that I no longer wanted the 'registered office' product as I had changed the registered address (due to the delay in them forwarding the post!) Then in November 2011 I noticed on a credit card statement that they had taken another £90 for 'renewal of the registered office' product (which I had cancelled). I yet again contacted them, was passed from pillar to post, said I would get a refund - two weeks later not actioned after numerous phone calls so I eventually got in touch with my credit card company who have taken on the matter. The Company Warehouse might seem a good deal when you look at its website, professional, cheap and friendly - as soon as they get your credit card details its far from any of these!!!! I have worked in customer service for 30 years and if i treated my customers like I have been.....well I wouldn't have any customers! VERY POOR AND ONE STAR IS BEING GENEROUS! PROBABLY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Will help themselfs to your bank account. Avoid

I purchased a limited company and opened a bank account for the advertised low fee. They stay on the phone with you and call the bank. They then called to tell me I have to pay another 35 pounds to get the company setup. 30 days later they helped themselfs to nearly 100 pounds out of my bank account telling me I never provided proof of opening the account. The ticketing system did not email me until it was too late. I recieved three emails at the same time two telling me they have attempted to contact me and one thanking me for a payment. I never got any calls or emails from them so I dont know how they tried to contact me. I sent them copies of my bank information but they do not respond. The call center just informs you that they cannot contact the banking department for updates. crooks

Hi,
I believe you spoke to one of my colleagues yesterday who resolved this issue for you.

There are a number of issues here so let me take them one by one.

1) The £100 you mentioned is the £75 plus VAT opt out fee that you agreed to when you placed your order. We tried to contact you on several occasions regarding this by ticket, phone and by email over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. In accordance with the terms and conditions you agreed to we took the £75 opt out fee when no proof of having opened a bank account was provided within the 30 day period you had agreed to.

2) As you have subsequently provided the proof that was required we have credited the £75 back to you as a gesture of goodwill.

3) The £35 you mentioned does not relate to the company formation with Companies House but to legal documents which demonstrate the proof and ownership of a company. These are not included in the formation package that you ordered but are an optional extra.

I hope that clarifies matters.

Thanks

further review...Company Warehouse...

Hi Peter,

So are you actually saying that the bank isnt agreeing to an account because the business isnt actually set up? Yet iv been told it has?? Either way i dont agree and the service hasnt been decent-i think i'll go through companies house directly. Especially as £70 for a voluntary strike against the company is £60 to you as have spoke to them and checked online, they only charge £10- so ive had enough and will be taking this further based on the legal information ive received and for the fact no actual information has been given proving the business is therefore in place.
I have the remaining 26 days to sort this out (based on the 30days i was told). My solicitor has suggested to come to an agreement of a solution with the charges you have received and me ceasing the company within 7days. So will need to discuss it.

Paul.

Hi Paul,
I believe you spoke to one of my colleagues earlier today.

There are a couple of issues you have raised here. The £1 formation you ordered covers the basic registration of the company with Companies House. It gets you a limited company number but does not make you fully legally compliant. Companies House do not provide all of the documentation needed to make a limited company legally compliant and these are what you would have been offered as the Corporate Compliance pack.

The second issue you raised is about the bank account. Where a bank account is required we do perform some checks before forming a company. This is to try and prevent the situation you have ended up in.In your case our checks were passed but the bank's were not. They have their own requirements and rules and they do, on occasion, turn down customers for their own reasons.

The bank will not normally open the business account until the company has been formed. We therefore have to do the company formation part of the process before putting customers in touch with the bank.

As you have indicated we offered to upgrade your company formation to the cheapest one that does not include a bank account, this costs £20, of which £13 are the Companies House fees.

If you would like to discuss this situation further please get in touch and we can talk about the best way to proceed.

Thanks

Excellent Service!

I am writing this review to congratulate The Company Warehouse for their excellent service! I am not a UK resident and I am already owning other companies outside the UK. In view of business demands, I had to set up a company in the UK. Luckily I have used the services of this incredible team and I was amazed at how fast and reliable these people are! Thank you all and keep up the good work!

Very efficient, excellent designs, totally reliable. Highly recommended for all professional business budgets

Have used The Company Warehouse since 2009, have been thoroughly satisfied over the years and would recommend them without hesitation to any ongoing business wishing to switch or new start up business since they (TCW) have throughout been able to make sensible suggestions to suit my various budgets at each circle of work and produce spot on work. They have been totally able to understand my company's changing needs each time and respond to implement changes and improvements without any hassle at all. My background is in law and I found them like a very efficient barrister who acts on the brief he/she is given with the utmost diligence and efficiency, they sort of work with me as a virtual team! where I outline to them a good brief, though I do tend to change my mind at times and they delivery. In fact since I am so busy I found particularly useful their 'job ticket' way of communicating since I don't have much time to spend on the telephone, other than with my clients, so I mainly e-mail them on a job thread and I have not once worried that my request will not be dealt with/seen to, almost immediately I would say. I would describe myself as very demanding, paying incredible attention to detail customer which outlook also translates into and my company's profile since we work at the top end of the Wedding Favours' and Stationery market. As my company expands and with The Company's Warehouse competitive edge, I intend to carry on teaming up with them for sometime. www.BeeARTisan.com

DO not use The Company Warehouse

I was really unhappy with the service they provided and asked for a refund in July. Still waiting. They took a lot of time to process my request. I was on the phone several times tracing them. Eventually they said I needed to submit another certificate which I did. Thereafter nothing happened. Rang them again told I needed to pay and extra £45 otherwise they wouldn't be able to process my service. I got really upset over the phone and customer service adviser put the phone down. Raised a ticket for a cancellation, don't bother they never get back to you. Sent email told he would put cancellation request to his team. Don't bother, nothing happened. Rang them several times, don't bother they don't pick up the phone. Appalling service. Now understand why they don't have testimonials on their website

The only outstanding orders we currently have for company registrations are where we are waiting for customers to provide additional information. COWBOYS.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

On 06.06.2012 I registered my new start up business via companies house, the next day I received a letter in the post from the companies warehouse, like a fool I thought it was companies house providing me with log in details to their sister site for support. On this letter it states various free items (Bookkeeping services etc.) so I logged on using the details provided on the letter.

I then received a call from the companies warehouse (at the time I thought it was companies house) on 07/06/2012 at 1433 from a man called Stuart. he was calling from the companies warehouse and he asked me things about my new business and if did not purchase certain documents me and my company would be liable to fines up to £6000, if I did not complete the following documents: Director Service Contracts, Data Protection Registration, & Corporate Compliance Document Pack.

He said that is why many new businesses fail within a year. Like a fool I handed over my bank details (time: 1506) - after the call ended I digested what he had told me and things did not add up! I started looking at other company formation companies to see if I actually needed what he was telling me and it turns out that I don’t. I even called a couple of similar organisations and they said sound like a scam. I called back Stuart back at 1558 (within in an hour). I said that I wanted to cancel, he said that their “accounts team” have already started working on it. I said that I don’t care I no longer wish to proceed. He said that I need to log a ticket on their website.

Then Stuart said that it takes up to 30 days to get a response from their accounts dept. to review my request. 30 days have passed since then I have had no refund and no explanation. When you call their number for the accounts team the phone just rings for 2mins and then a voicemail message.

I spoke with Stuart on 09.07.2012 to say the above he said that they will give me a part refund and If I was not happy with that then I would need to raise another ticket.

Today is 26.07.2012, I have sent a recoreded letter to ROSS HAMMOND, Company Secretary at The Company Warehouse. confirming all of this and to date no refund or response letter. I will be sending two additonal letters (recorded) so this will stand up in court so i can get this company closed down.

Dear Mr. Martin,
I am sorry you were not happy with our service. We have received your letter and a detailed written reply is being sent to you by recorded delivery today. We have also sent you an electronic copy.

By way of a brief response to the main issues you have raised here I would like to make the following points:

• The mailer you received is clearly branded as being from The Company Warehouse and does not claim any link to Companies House.
• Clear details of all the products you bought can be found on our website. You purchased the Corporate Compliance Pack, Data Protection Notification and Director’s Service Contract. We clearly outline what these products involve and provide links to relevant legislation.
• We always try to process customer orders as quickly as possible. By the time you decided to cancel your order we had already completed part of it and had prepared bespoke documents for your company. This is why we only offered a partial refund.
• Lastly I would like to acknowledge that in your case it did take us too long to get back to you with an update on your complaint. We apologise for this and have waived our usual cancellation fee as a result.

As I said a more detailed written response to your complaint is already on its way to you. I hope this will answer all of your questions.

Yours Sincerely

Peter @ The Company Warehouse.

Lieing Misleading Website & Company

I used the company warehouse to register a company and for registered offices with mail forwarding. I was told on the phone that it was unlimited forwarding to UK addresses. After a few months, I received less and less mail and when i called they said they only forward official mail ! The buy on the phone was very agressive and impolite !

I moved my registered office address away from them and emailed to cancel the subscription. 4 months later i received an email stating that they would be taking payment. I emailed AGAIN informaing that they hadn't been providing this service for months so they should not take payment.

This morning i received an email stating that payment had been made (for services they do not provide anymore). I called and no-one in accounts ever seems to answer the phone so I selected a different option and the guy stated that i needed to raise a ticket on their system for accounts.

Waiting to see what happens before I take this any further.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE www.thecompanywarehouse.co.uk AT ALL COSTS...

NO customer service, no anwering of emails, no response from accounts,

Hi,
I am sorry that you were unhappy with the service you received.

As is stated on our website if you open up a bank account at the same time as doing your company formation then the company formation is free. There are other documents and services that a new company may need on top of the free company formation for which there are charges.

I hope that the situation was resolved to your satisfaction. I would appreciate you getting in touch and letting me know one way or the other.

I too asked form some documentation to open a bank account and all they wanted to do was get me to buy the Corporate Compliance pack. i refused to buy anything over the phone before i had done my research and the seller Daniel was very pushy in why i was not buying it now, and said i will be fined if i did not buy them.

Hi,
I'm sorry that you weren't happy with the sales team.

The Corporate Compliance Pack that you were recommended to buy is the 'Statutory Registers' required by the 2006 Companies Act. The requirements for the individual documents can be found in sections 113, 162, 275, 869, 743, 769 & 248. Failure to have these documents in place can lead to prosecution and fines along the standard scale.

If you have any further questions please get in touch. I would also appreciate you letting me know whether the situation was resolved to your satisfaction.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!

They cheating people. Do not believe to their promises on the web site, there is nothing for free. Sometimes you cannot get even things which are not for free. You will get nothing of "bonuses" they offer along with company registration.
I registered a company with them and now already a month just spend my money on phone calls to get my documents. Support e-mail? They do not have the time to reply to you (especially if you have paid already!
So be aware. You can contact me regarding this supereurope.eu@gmail.com

I was contacted and encouraged to purchase 2 sets of forms for Corporate Compliance for my company for a cost of over £100, and which Thecompanywarehouse.co.uk very strongly recommended I buy to avoid legal penalties of up to £6000 for non compliance. I since found out that none of these extras are required by contacting Companies House and verifying the case with them.
