Ok and Professional but........
English is not my first language and I decided to use this service and give it a try opting for the "same day cv revamp" 30£. I'm trying to do everything reasonably well cause it's not easy to find a job especially if u come from abroad.
The CV I received from the CVstore was ok and professional but not everything was correct and in place; my feeling is that it was done in a hurry. So I contacted them again to ask help to adjust it and they told me that I had to pay further charge cause the price I paid was just for a cv revamp and I understood.
So I e.mailed them again saying that for me it was ok and I thought about going twrds the service "professional cv" but they didn't reply anymore and didn't answer at the phone.
I right now just think about the choice done to use their service; 30£ can be a lot of money for some people.

A personal and friendly service
I first used The CV Store in the Christmas of 2007, my CV was out of date and didn't look or sound as good as it should. The CV Store gave an in-depth and honest appraisal of the CV and totally re-vamped it's look and content. It really opened doors and got me the interviews I was after. I have recently ask The CV Store to re-vamp my CV to account for my new jobs and skills and courses and again The CV Store has come through for me again. I simply can not say how helpful they are.

Very effective, efficient and essential!!!
I didn't quite realise how dated my supposedly "executive" was, until Lee's initial suggestions came back just a day after submitting my CV.
Upon ordering the CV service and cover letter, the daily emails updating which stage of the process we were at were great. Received my CV within the promised time, even though the 3rd day was a Saturday, it still arrive in 3 different formats as promised.
The difference in the layout, wording and content was nothing short of fantastic. Personalised to every job, taken from my previous CV, I did not need to make any changes or suggestions, Lee got it spot on.
An absolute pleasure to receive a great product delivered with great service. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, quick response and attention to your needs!
They completed changed the appearance of my CV to a much better design, improved the words that I used in order to better sell my CV and at the first moment I was very happy. When I decided to make some changes, they answered my demands right after I sent them and this shows their attention and commitment to always improve their work and to completely satisfy their clients. I initially took the free critique service which was turned around over night. It wasn't until then I could see how shocking my CV was! Immediately opted for the 24 hour cv and cover letter option. Couldnt of asked for more
Paid for new CV on Friday paying for a 48 hour turnaround time. Even though it is Sunday, I have just rec'd my new CV and it looks great. Just needed to phone for 1 small change! Thanks very much...

Common CV template for £75
I bought Professional CV Package in March 2011. I am a graduate with a small experience but still can't find even junior position in finance. On practice, when I try to approach companies directly, I have much better result, and had some temporary roles, but I never was contacted by agency when applied online - CV makes me just invisible. I have relevant qualifications, keep studying more, but on CV it doesn't look good at all, regret I have chosen with company. I don't know who are the authors of all other comments, but suppose I have just common CV template.

As part of our service, you're entitled to free updates / changes to your CV for 12 months. In addition, we always advise sending us examples of job specs for positions you've applied to so we can ensure the CV is sufficiently targeted.
It might also be useful to contact previous recruiters to ask why you didn't progress as there might be a variety of reasons.

Excellent Service to help me get a job in 2 months

Great service, Better CV
I was advised to submit my CV to the CVStore by a friend and did not think they could find much fault with my CV. The whole experience was an eye opener to what an out dated CV I had. After payment was made, I received my CV back within 24 hours. The Layout is perfect and very well written. Now that I have started to send my new CV out to prospective employers I am really noticing a marked increase in call-backs.

Average service
I was initially impressed with the free help and then the subsequent improvements to my cv but was always annoyed that they never seemed to truly listen to what I needed.
I corresponded with them via email due to the hours I worked and on several occasions asked for adjustments to be made so that the CV they produced was actually set up for the type of work I was going for.
It seemed that I received a fairly generic template they use, very well written with a nice format but they became increasingly hard to get hold of when I needed amendments made and I admittedly gave up and made the changes myself and with advice from other sources.

Quick, easy, well presented
Using the cv store was a serious wake up call that my cv was poor and I was making glaring errors. Cv store is very quick on giving feedback and creating a new look. My cv is now 100x better than before - and the best feedback? Many recruiters have told me that my cv was what got me the interview or that it was extremely well presented and crafted. Well worth the money.

A First Class Service
I thought I had a safe, up to date CV, but being open minded I consulted various opinions from 'reliable' CV experts which only served to confuse me more. I was at my wits end.
The free CV critique I received from the CV Store consultant was clearly laid out, refreshingly candid, and went that one step further in identifying exactly what changes were needed.
The consultant was also availble by phone for the the one issue I did need to discuss, and was easily able to resolve this.
Thus I purchased the £75 service which was delivered promptly and on time with updates throughout. The results were outstanding and I feel happily able to recommend the service to anyone else that may have been as stuck as I was.

Always happy to go back to The CV Store
After having my CV destroyed by a company claiming to be the 'UK's leading consultancy', I hesitantly parted with another £75 and tried The CV Store.
If I am being honest, I was expecting much after my previous experience of their competitor. However, what I received was surprising good!
Their Consultants are always on hand via a direct land-line and mobile number throughout the CV writing process and all their services include alterations free of charge for 12 months.
I have since recommended them to 3 colleagues, all of whom are equally as impressed as myself!

I had my CV reviewed by several companies before I chose the CV Store. Unlike the other companies which gave me the hard sell and were charging well over £400 to write my CV, the CV Store sent me my feedback via comments on my original CV, there was no hard sell or annoying emails chasing me up. Once I had purchased the service, my new CV arrived within 24 hours, and it was FANTASTIC. Fantastic as always
